Destined

I breathed out a sigh.

"Long time, no see, huh?" I said.

"Yep definitely," he said, "I know this is straight forward but wanna get coffee?"

"Sure," I said.

I lifted Bella up in my arms and we walked to get some coffee.
But not at Starbucks. At this cute little café in town called 40 Days.

"And who is this little cutie?" Harry asked.

"My cousin Bella," I replied.

"Oh... For second I thought she was your daughter."

"And what would be wrong with that?" I asked, slightly appalled.

"Nothing," he said.

We got our coffee and got Bella some hot chocolate. Harry and I chatted about recent life, but it was still slightly awkward. He gave me his phone number and I gave him mine. I was hoping he would never use it after what he did after we broke up in high school.
