Niall's POV
I slept so well last night, the best in like three years. Why? Because she was right beside me. Curled into me just like I've always wanted. I roll over and find no one is there. Maybe she just went to the bathroom. "BABE? Come back to bed love…I'm cold without you!" No response. I groan and sit up. Where the hell did she go? I slide out of bed and walk to the bathroom. The lights are out so she is definitely not in there. I go down the hall to the kitchen…and nothing. I whirl around to the living room and nothing. She's gone. Holy shit…I run back to my room. I notice her clothes are gone. When did she leave? What if she left right after I fell asleep…what if it all was a lie? I go back down the hall to the kitchen since I could no longer sleep. Then I spot a note, with her loopy handwriting on it.
Niall-
I was going to wake you up saying I had to go…but you looking so peaceful…so I just decided to let you sleep. I am taking a cab so don't worry. I had to leave to go back home to get ready for work. I had fun last night…talk to you soon.

Oh. That explains a lot. She had work at 10 now. I put the note down then went to look for some food. I look at the clock and it says that its noon. Well I have no idea what to do today. Maybe I'll head to the studio and do some song writing. Then I realized what day it was…I had an appointment with Simon at 2. I instantly stopped what I was doing and run to the shower. This meeting was super important for the boys and me. Well more me than the boys…but they will be happy once they find out. I get out of the shower and check the time. 1pm…it takes like 30 minutes to get to Simon's from my place. So I throw on some shoes and a coat then grabs my keys. I have to go and grab my dumbass crutches too otherwise Simon will yell at me. Four more days…I can do this. I put them on and notice my driver is already waiting. He smiles at me so I smile back and climb into the back, throwing my crutches to the side. It was a silent drive, some chit chat here and there but nothing major. I like my driver but I just wasn’t in a talking mood. Clary hasn't texted me so I don't know if she got to work safely or not. Which worries me because I don't know if Matt is still following her around…doesn't he have classes or something? My driver parks right in front of the Sony office building. "I'll be around back Niall, when do you plan on telling that lovely girl?"
"I don't know yet…I want to surprise her. And I'll see you in a bit. I don't know how long this will take…feel free to go anywhere if you need to." He gives me a quick nod then helps me with my crutches and I'm heading into the building, not really knowing what I was exactly doing.
Clary's POV
I got to work and Ryan was already there. I walked in, spotted him, then walked right back out. I hear him come after me. "Clarissa! Come on don't be like this too!" That ticked me off.
"Be like what Ryan?! I'm pissed at you! You hurt her so badly!!! I didn't think you had that in you!" He looked stunned at my words but grabbed my hands and pulled me back into our studio.
"Clarissa listen to me…I didn't know if I was even going to get the job! When I did I was so happy so I told Penny…and well you saw." I just glared at him, crossing my arms across my body.
"Well maybe you should have warned her then! Like 'hey I might be leaving in a month and probably won't come back…do you still want to do this?' I mean would that have been so fucking hard!" I hear someone pass by and yell 'language' at me. But I don't care. I was fuming at him. I walked right past him and sat down. He went over and sat by me. "Ryan…why are you even here? This isn't your shift."
"I wanted to work with you until I left…which is the end of this month." I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye. He's looking down at his hands but looking at me through his eyelashes. I sigh and look at him fully.
"Fiiine." He looks up and smiles triumphantly. I just roll my eyes and started the show. Around lunch time I wandered out and went to Starbucks. I see Matt lurking in the corner. I ignore him, grabbing my food and heading back. I looked at my phone to see some texts from Niall.
Niall: Are you done yet? I'm bored…
Niall: You should at least be able to text me!
Niall: I think I'm really going to kidnap you, then you won't ever leave me. There problem solved.
I almost choke on my coffee from laughing at him. I forgot how easily he made me laugh. I still was on lunch break so I decided to respond quickly.
Me: I get done at 6pm…hopefully you will survive until then. And if you kidnap me I will beat you into a bloody pulp. You've been warned.
I didn't get a response back so I figured he found a way to entertain himself. I went back to the studio and sat down by Ryan. I still haven't really warmed up to him yet. But I can tolerate being by him now. So I guess that's good. "How was lunch?"
"It was fine…just got some Starbucks. What about you?" I looked at him waiting for a response. I knew that he usually got lunch with Penny.
"I packed one…just a sandwich and chips really." I nod then go back to the music. It was on commercial right now but I started to look through requests. Spotting some girl requesting You and I by One Direction, I put that on. I smile when I hear Niall's voice ring out. I hear Ryan groan then he picks the next song. I just let him do his thing. I checked my phone to see a text. I was about to answer when my boss came barging in. "Wolf, my office now." He seemed out of breath but left just as soon as he came. I looked over at Ryan, who was watching me intently.
"Do you know why he wants to see me?" Ryan shook his head no. I stared at the door suddenly very nervous.
"I'm sure its fine Clarissa…maybe a promotion?" I look over at him. He gives me a reassuring smile. Then I get up heading for my boss's office. I was super nervous. I really hope I'm not about to get canned. I knock on the door and enter. "You wanted to see me sir?" He looks up and smiles.
"Oh yes come in Clarissa. I called you in to discuss you're new job." I gulped and sat down looking at him. I thought it was still in the works…oh shit what if he is firing me!
"Oh yes of course…what about it?" I smiled pretending to not be scared out of my mind. Without this job how would I pay for my part of the rent? Would I have to move back with my mom? Oh god…this can't be happening right now!
"Well my dear. Its all set up. You start in March as One Direction's media advisor." He smiled while I just sat there gaping at him.
"What?...But…WHAT?" Those were the only words I could manage to say.
"You seemed to have impressed Mr. Horan because he is the one who suggested the idea. Of course the others quickly agreed. So well done Clarissa!" I just sat there gaping again. That fucking prick. I didn't want to be a media advisor! I am beyond pissed. But I have to act happy.
"Wow! Thanks…so I'm here until I leave to work for them?" He just nodded then shooed me out. I practically stomped back to the studio. It was after 6 meaning my shift was done. I snatched up my things, ignoring Ryan and stomped back to my car. I looked at my phone, one text from Niall.
Niall: Wanna do something tonight? ;)
I was so mad I just chucked my phone onto the floor of the passenger side. I drove at lightening speed back home. I got up to my floor and banged on Nicole's door. She answered smiling.
"Hey!...oh shit what happened?" Then I just lost it. I told her everything.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING! I DON'T WANT TO BE THEIR STUPID ASS MEDIA ADVISOR! THAT'S NOT EVEN A THING NICKI! I don't want to leave me job!!! I hate him! I should've stayed away! God dammit!" I knew I was throwing a fit like a 5 year old but I didn't care. My phone rang, I saw it was Niall then told Nicole to answer it because I couldn't.
"Hey Niall…yep its Nicole…uh no she doesn't want to talk to you right now…yea she knows…angry like super angry. No I don't think you coming over will help. Well you should've told her before you did it! Listen I know her better than you so when I say that she doesn't like surprises I mean it. Goodbye." She hung up and sat down by me. I leaned my head on her shoulder.
"Wanna stay here tonight? I got ice cream and booze. Plus Netflix…" I smile and nod at her.
"Sounds great Nicole."

GUYS ONLY ONE MORE MONTH UNTIL I GO BACK TO SCHOOL!! Whoot whoot! I can't wait. Plus Eliza and I are going to see Hunter Hayes in concert! August will be the best month ever. My birthday, Hunter Hayes, and going back to GB! Anyways hope you all are doing spectacular! Sorry it took so long to update!
