Harry led them both outside onto the patio, and Liam leaned against the house as he stared at Harry. “What is it?” he asked as he ran a hand through his hair. He didn’t particularly want to spend time with Harry since his ex-girlfriend had cheated on him with this boy. To make it worst, they were in the same band at the time as well.

“You aren’t trying to get Clarissa back. Are you?” he asked with a raise of an eyebrow. For a moment, Liam was silent because he wasn’t sure what he was trying to do. Just last night he had kissed her, but she wasn’t even awake for that.

With a shrug, he told Harry, “And if I am?” He raised his eyebrows at Harry, and he smirked. Liam forgot how much of a cheeky little twat he was.

“You won’t win,” Harry said. “I’ve already won, mate,” he said with an annoying grin on his face as he dug through his pocket before he pulled out the dark black box. Liam prayed that it wasn’t what he thought it was as Harry opened the box. “I proposed to her a few days before the fire, and she had said yes. I had to get the ring resized since it was too big,” he nodded, and he slipped the box back into his pocket before he leaned against the fence of the patio. “So, do you really think you would be able to get her back?” he raised an eyebrow at the boy across from him.

Liam was stunned, and Harry just stood there with that annoying grin of his. “Then, I wouldn’t want to intrude,” he muttered softly. “Tell Clarissa I wasn’t feeling good, and I had to go home” he muttered, and he made his way past Harry. He did feel sick, and he couldn’t handle any of this.

He wasn’t even sure what to do anymore. His head was spinning, and he felt like puking along with crying his eyes out. God, he was so stupid to think he would get Clarissa back since she was never his in the first place. She was Harry’s all along.
