Leaving the building there were paparazzi everywhere since Ellen has been promoting the interview with Harry and I. We had to have full security escort us from our room to the car.

We pulled up to Ellen’s studio and were surrounded by screaming girls. I starred out the window in amazement and Harry still held my hand.

“Wow! All these people are here for you!” I said still looking out the window.

“No. They’re here for us babe.” Harry said moving his arm around my waist.

We both stared out the window and could hear the crowd start to sing “What Makes You Beautiful.” I looked at Harry and couldn’t help but smile. I was about to go on Ellen and tell the whole world that Harry Styles from the world famous boy band One Direction was my boyfriend. It was both exciting and terrifying. I was glad that management was encouraging us to talk about it publicly. It was a good feeling knowing that they supported us.

“I love you.” Harry said pulling me close to him and giving me one last kiss. “Are you ready?”

I shook my head, not sure if I would be able to speak due to the nerves and he opened the door and lead us through the crowd.

Once backstage, we were both separated and moved to hair and makeup. The stylists had already picked out an outfit for me, thank goodness, and they quickly finished with my hair and makeup.

The stylists left me alone after and I sat in the chair, sipping water and staring into the mirror in front of me. I starred at my hair and makeup in amazement because it was absolutely perfect. I pulled out my phone and decided to update my Twitter.

Soon there was a knock on my door.

“Come in!” I yelled still scrolling through my twitter feed.

“VAS HAPPENING!!!” I heard yell and I look up to see Zayn, Louis, Liam, Niall, Danielle, Eleanor and Mia standing at my door.

“WHAT?!” I say standing up and Mia pulls me into a massive group hug. “You guys! I can’t believe you’re all here!” I say pulling back with a massive smile on my face.

“Well Harry was telling us about the interview and we all wanted to be here to support you both.” Liam said.

“Mainly you because Harry’s fine during interviews. We knew you’d be nervous though.” Zayn says smirking.

I laugh a little bit. “So incredibly nervous.” Shaking my head.

“Don’t be nervous love, they’re going to love you.” Louis says.

“Yeah like we all do.” Danielle said. And everyone nodded in agreement.

“Thanks everyone. It really means a lot that you’re all here!”

“Lindsay?” Harry called knocking on the door.

“COME IN!” Louis says in his best girl voice.

“Umm” Harry says opening the door. A huge look of shock came across his face! “What are you guys doing here?” He says hugging everyone.

“Geez did anyone miss us?! ” Eleanor says laughing. We all laughed too.

“We have to go backstage now Lindsay. Are you ready?” Harry says coming closer to me and taking both of my hands.

“Yeah. Let’s do this!” I say giving him a quick kiss and we head for the door. “Bye guys!!!” we yell and leave to take our positions backstage.

“Hey can we take a picture? I really want to remember our first interview together.” Harry says looking at me.

“Of course babe!” I say smiling and a nearby worker takes a picture of Harry and I with the sign that says “ELLEN” in the background.

“Okay you two. You’re almost on.” A lady with a microphone says to Harry and I.

“You’re going to be great okay? I’ll be with you the whole time, holding your hand.” He says holding up our intertwined hands.

“I love you Harry Styles.” I saw and press my lips to his.

Harry’s POV

“And please welcome them now, Harry Styles and Lindsay Shaw.”

Lindsay and I walked onto the Ellen stage and the lights were really bright. The boys and I had been on Ellen before but we were interviewed outside before giving a mini-concert. Being indoors at her studio was a lot different than the outside set up.

“Welcome!” Ellen said pulling me into a hug.

“Thank you for coming!” She said hugging Lindsay.

“Thank you so much for having us.” I said before Lindsay and I took a seat on the couch.

“Well it’s great to have you two. We have been seeing a lot of you around New York recently.”

“Ah yes.” I said. “I surprised Lindsay for New Years so we’ve been having a great vacation.”

“That’s so sweet! Now, Lindsay you’re not from New York right?”

“No I’m not. I’m from San Diego, California. My best friend Mia and I were here to see the ball drop for New Years.” Lindsay answered, a little quiver in her voice.

“Oh how nice! Little best friend trip! So Harry why did you meet Lindsay, your girlfriend right?”

“Yes Ellen, Lindsay is my girlfriend.” I said and smiled at her, squeezing her hand. “We met in London while she was there studying aboard through her college.”

“And I’ve been told there’s a funny story to go along with you two meeting. Tell us about that Lindsay.”

She laughed a little before answering. “Yeah well we met in History class and he introduced himself as Edward. I didn’t know he was Harry Styles until he took me to the One Direction concert later that night.”

“What?! You didn’t know he was Harry Styles?!” Ellen said shocked.

“He was wearing a beanie and sunglasses, so it was hard to see his face!” She says laughing again. The crowd now laughing too.

“That’s quite a story! What do the boys think of her Harry?”

“They love her!” I said. “They’re actually all backstage because they knew she’d be nervous for her first interview.”

Lindsay nods and smiles down at the floor.

“So they’re all backstage?” Ellen said surprised.

“Yes.” I said rubbing circles on Lindsay hand.

“Well bring them out here!” Ellen said and we see the rest of the boys start to file offstage.

What?! This was turning into a One Direction interview? No. I know Lindsay was really nervous about this and she’s going to feel like the awkward one out now. Oh my gosh….

Once the boys sat down, Ellen asked us some questions about our upcoming tour and about the making of our new album, which we were hoping to release later this year.

“Well great to have you all with us. Louis, Niall, Zayn, Liam always a pleasure and Harry and Lindsay congrats two both of you. You are adorable together and it was great to have you on the show.”

We thanked Ellen and walked off the stage. Once offstage I pulled Lindsay into me and pressed my lips to hers. Our kiss deepened and I moved my hands to the small of her back. We broke away and I stared down at her amazing blue eyes.

“You were great out there! I knew you would be.” I said and she smiled back up at me before giving me another kiss.

“Hey guys! We’re all going to grab some food if you want to join!” Niall yelled and Lindsay and I followed the group to the exit.

We got into two separate cars and the girls decided to take one, and the boys in the other. I wanted to sit with Lindsay but we were going to a restaurant pretty close to the studio so we wouldn’t be apart for long.

I pulled out my phone and posted the photo of us to Instagram.

“Lovely interview with @theellenshow today! So much fun to spend the day with my beautiful girlfriend @LindsayShaw! xx”

Then I sent the picture to Lindsay’s phone.
