Everyone had seen Niall and Harry kiss Mia and I and there were hundreds of flashes. All I could hear were girls screaming.

“HARRY! OH MY GOD!!” “Can we have your autograph?” “What are you guys doing with these sluts?!”

I could see Harry’s expression get harder and he grabbed my hand and lead me away from the growing crowd. I looked back to see Niall and Mia following us. Mia’s head was hiding in Niall’s chest and he had his arm around her guiding her. He looked mad as well, so I’m sure he heard the bystanders calling us names.

Harry and I got into a car and I saw Niall and Mia get into the car behind us.

“Are they not coming with us?” I said to Harry who was looking out the window, anger still in his eyes.

“They’re going back to your hotel, we’re going to mine.” He said reaching for the seatbelt, before returning his gaze out the window.

I moved to the middle seat and moved my hand to his chest. This caused him to finally make eye contact with me.

“Don’t be mad, please babe.” I said grabbing his hand and lacing our fingers.

“They shouldn’t talk to you like that. They have no right!” He said turning away from me, anger again rising in his voice.

“I don’t care what they say Harry. They don’t know me and they sure as hell don’t know about us.” He let out a sigh and squeezed my hand.

“You’re right. Look, Ellen’s here filming a few episodes for New Years. She called me earlier in the week and asked if we wanted to be on her show. Do you want to do it? I think it’d be good to tell everyone about us.” Harry had parked the car and grabbed my hand, we walked into his room at sat down on the bed.

“ye..yeah.” I stuttered and looked down at the ground. “I uh… I’m just nervous Harry. Like once we tell everyone, I’m never going to get back my normal life. I’ll forever be linked to you.” I looked back at him and could see the hurt in his eyes.

“I….I don’t even know how to respond to that.” He said getting up and running his hands through his hair.

“No! Harry!” I took a deep breath and got up to join him. “Look that came out wrong. I meant that I’ll never go back to being just Lindsay Shaw from San Diego. I’ll be Harry Styles girlfriend or ex-girlfriend. It’s just a big change from the lifestyle that I’m used to.”

I took hold of his hands and placed them on my hips. I moved my hands so they were cupping the sides of his face.

“It’s going to be a big change but I love you Harry. And I want everyone to know that I’m yours. So let’s go on Ellen and tell them!”

He smiled again and leaned in to kiss me. He pulled me close to him and our kiss deepened. He pulled away and rested his head on mine.

“I love you so much.” He said.

I smiled and leaned in to kiss him again. Let’s just say that let to starting off my New Year with a BANG ;)

The next morning Harry and I met up with Niall and Mia for breakfast at a café down the street from our hotel. There were crazy paparazzi, but Harry called ahead and arranged for a table in the back when we wouldn’t be bothered.

The boys were talking with the manager but Mia and I went and sat down at our table

“So how was your night?” I asked Mia while she was sipping her tea. She coughed and almost spit it out.

“My uhhh my night was good.” She said looking at Niall then taking another sip of her drink.

“Uh huh…” I said smirking at Harry. “I’ve been your best friend since 6th grade, you are so not getting off that easy.”

“I’ll tell you later. Here they come.” She said giggling and looking down.

“What are you lads laughing at?” Niall says sitting down next to Mia.

“Nothing. Nothing.” I said sipping from my tea.

“So what are we doing today?” Mia said, obviously wanting to get away from the previous conversation.

“Ah yes. I thought we could go around and see New York a bit. Niall and I never really get to come here for fun, so would you girls be down for some sight seeing?”

“YES!” Mia and I said in unison. But the Mia continued. “As long as we’re back before 8. I signed Lindsay up to sing at a pub down the road.”

“YOU DID WHAT?” I said nearly choking on my tea.

“Well I didn’t know Niall and Harry were going to come here and I wanted you to do something memorable while we were in New York.”

“Mia, I start shaking when I sing in front of you. How am I going to do it in front of a whole pub?!”

“Lindsay you sing with me all the time.” Harry said squeezing my hand.

“That’s different. You sing with me. It’s not just me by myself.” I said looking down at my place, suddenly not hungry anymore.

“Look Lindsay, we’ll all be there to support you. We’ll be the only people you know in the pub, so it’ll be a lot less scary because you probably won’t ever see them again.”

“That’s true… Alright I’ll do it. But I didn’t bring my guitar with me!” I said looking at Mia.

“Don’t worry! I always bring mine with me!” Niall said smiling.

“Alright! Well tonight at 8 it is then!!!” Harry said and leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.

I gave a half smile and ate some of my food. My stomach was in butterflies and my heart was racing. Preforming live? Tonight? How was I going to get through this?!

i really was at a loss for what to write about
But i'm back and i have more ideas for the story!
