She had a brilliant childhood growing up, she hadn't been close with her Mum but they certainly weren't enemies. That is until Cressida's Mum got a new job and moved her in with the new boyfriend. That doesn't mean it was his fault though, George did try his best to keep the peace, they just couldn't escape the stress of the new job and Cress' exams.

Her fathers not been around much, he sent birthday gifts along with beautiful letters every year - always making sure she knew he loved her. Her friends never understood how highly she spoke of him considering she'd never met the man.

It wasn't until she turned 18 that she finally received a letter with a return address.
