''So how are things with you and Harry?''

I picked at my garden salad before answering. ''Good actually, we have our bad days, but you know, who doesn't?''



''Good, you guys were meant for eachother.''
''Yeah he's working today though, which is pretty annoying seen as it is my day off but what can you do?''
''So he has a busy schedule then?'' That may have been the dumbest question ever to come out of anyone's mouth.
''''He is a member of the biggest boyband on the planet, Felicity, it was to be expected.''
''I guess. hey can you look after Ethan.'' She gestured towards the baby in the highchair.
''Well I was planning on sitting at home alone and eating a shit load of junk but I guess I can do that tomorrow. So sure.''
''Great cause I need to leave now!''
''Bu--'' Before I could say anything she had kissed her son goodbye, grabbed her bags and ran out the door.
I looked at my nephew awkwardly. 'Well I suppose I better get you home then?'' I can't believe I was talking to someone who could only reply by dribbling.

I had just sat down when Ethan woke up again! Sheesh this was hard work. Just as I lifted Ethan out of his cot and began to calm him down by rocking him in my arms when the doorbell rang. ''Ugh it's like piccadilly circus in here today!'' I made my way downstairs trying not to fall asleep on the way down. I opened the door and the blinding light from outside hurt my tired eyes. I adjusted to the light and saw Harry looking slightly confused holding a huge boquet of red roses. ''Babe! What are you doing here?''
''We got off work earlier than expected so I thought we could have a romantic night in.'' He glanced at the baby in my arms. ''Guess that's not gonna happen.'' He chuckled.
''Afraid not. This is Ethan my nephew.''
''Well hello there Ethan'' He said lightly shaking Ethan's hand as some dribble left his mouth.
''Well come in then!'' I moved out of the way of the door and let Harry walk in.

This is going to be an interesting night.
