Never Tear Us Apart

DAUGHTER

They were parents. Harry and Sophie. Never in a million years did either of them think they would be in this position with each other in a few years when they first met in the X Factor house, a time which felt century's ago.

So as Harry took his little girl out of Sophie's arms and into the black and cream carrier, watching intently as Sadie opened her eyes briefly, looking right at her dad, Sophie couldn't help but relive those memories in her head, the good ones that is, she didn't want to ruin this moment by thinking of the bad. Harry's smirk was still exactly the same, the smirk that was enticing but worrying all at the same time, he had grew taller obviously, and he was much more of a man now, of course when Sophie first met him, he was still a boy, at just 16. The smile now on Harry's face as Sadie looked at him, wide eyed, mouth forming an 'o' shape was unmissable and she had never seen him so happy. Even though Sadie couldn't actually see objects and people when she look around, at this young age, and Harry knew this, it still brought a beaming smile to his face.

''How do you look so good after just having a baby?'' He broke her out of her thoughts.

Sophie looked down at her beige knitted jumper, plain black leggings, and white converse. ''Erm I don't?'' Her reply came out as more of a question.

''Always the modest one, Sophie Abrielle.'' He chuckled, as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, both of them looking at their sleeping daughter.

''She's gorgeous isn't she?'' Harry gushed.

''Very. Now c'mon let's get out of here, I need some proper food.'' And with that Harry picked up the baby carrier, with great care, like any new dad.

As Sophie checked out, making sure all the paperwork was in order at the front desk, Harry sat in the waiting area, beaming. Countless people, mainly females came to congratulate him, and he blushed every time, his smile almost falling off his face.

''Yeah she's gonna be a little heartbreaker I can tell.'' He said to a middle aged woman as he played with Sadie's fingers.

''Just like her dad then.'' Sophie smiled as she came over.

''Well congratulations you two.'' The woman smiled before walking away.

''I still can't believe I'm a dad.'' Harry smiled as Sophie sat on his lap, and his arm snaked around her waist automatically.

''And I still can't believe I made it through childbirth but if we don't leave soon I'm gonna have to eat either you or Sadie.''

Sophie began to pull him up and towards the exit and Harry clutched the carrier with a sleeping Sadie in it. ''Choose Sadie. She has more meat on her.''

''Wow. I can already see that protective father side of you coming out.'' Sophie's voice was dripping with sarcasm.

''Mhm.'' He hummed. ''Now let's get you girls home.'' He began speaking in a baby voice looking into Sadie's carrier. ''But not before stopping off at a burger king because we don't want mummy to eat you now do we.'' Harry pinched her delicate cheeks, only to receive a weird, confused look from Sadie.

----

''Ah it's good to be home.'' Sophie sighs as she walks through the front door, still slurping on her strawberry milkshake and the brown paper bag in the other hand.

''Shall I put her in her crib?'' Harry asks closing the door behind him with his foot.
''Yeah, c'mon.'' She lazily pushes the nursery door open with her bum, the nursery that is already well equipped and well organised.

''Classy.'' He states.

''Always.''

''C'mon princess.'' Harry lifts Sadie, who is clad in a light yellow bag grow, half awake, places a light kiss on her forehead before placing her in the white crib in the corner of the room.

And as Sophie places the blanket onto her small body, both Harry and Sophie stand next to the crib and share the same look of realisation.

They're parents.

Notes

I was kinda disappointed I didn't get any comments on the last chapter, seen as it was a pretty big event in the story and I didn't get any feedback. Positive or negative, I want to hear it, not just plea's for me to update. I'm sorry if I sound moody or unappreciative but when you spend a good hour writing chapters and proof reading (...sometimes the proof reading) it almost feels like it's a waste of my time when no one comments or gives me feedback.

Thank you, I thought the wedding would be a good place to end it, and well...well i guess the epilogue was a little extra. And I'm sad too trust me!, still coming to terms that nothing in this story actually happened aha.
