Never Tear Us Apart
SHE SLEEPS ALONE
She lies there wide awake. Her and Eleanor had retired to their seperate bedrooms quite a few hours ago. But Sophie hadn't slept a wink. She was just staring at the empty side of the bed, she didn't need all of this room, and she didn't want all of this room. At the moment her head had taken over her heart, and Sophie has always had a strong heart, but all of this was just too much. Just too much.
It was no use, she slowly walked over to her balcony and pushed the sliding doors to one side. She leaned over the side of the balcony glancing down at the hotel garden and pool. The beach was practically on their doorstep and there was a faint background noise of the LA traffic. Even at this hour, LA was a busy place.
She sauntered around the balcony for over an hour, and before she knew it, the sun was coming up. And just as the sun was visible, a loud yawn escaped her mouth. Just her luck. She clambered back into her bed and almost fell asleep instantly.
But it only felt like 5 seconds later Elle was jumping on her and screaming for her to get up. She didn't want to have to explain about getting absoloutley no sleep. Elle would only worry.
''Okay! Okay! I'm getting up.'' She stood up but soon regretted it as her eyelids suddenly felt like a ton of bricks, but she shook the feeling off and ordered Elle to go get some coffee from starbucks asap. Elle left as quick as she appeared and Sophie decided to try and be productive and get dressed.

Just as she grabbed her sunglasses and exited the bedroom an overly excited Elle came running in with a huge grin on her face.
''Look who I ran into at Starbucks!'' And just then Louis slowly peered his head round the door with an Im-sorry look on his face and his hands in his pockets. Sophie knew what was to come next. Harry strolled into the room and his face erupted into a huge smile and his eyes began to glisten when he was confronted with the love of his life standing before him in a heart stopping dress.
''Hi.'' Louis said still with an apologetic look on his face, he knew this would be the last thing Sophie would need or want but Elle was just too excited to even take this into account.
''You look beautiful.'' Harry almost whispered. She had never seen him this shy. He was always so froward and outgoing.
''Thanks.'' Sophie replied trying not to make a big deal out of it, but to her it was. He knew he would always have this effect on her, and so did she. There was an awkward silence before Elle dragged Louis outisde to show him the 'oh so amazing' pool. Sophie didn't buy it. Now it was just Sophie and Harry. Alone. Together. Sophie quickly grabbed the TV remote and turned it on, she couldn't bare silence. Sophie placed herself on the edge of the sofa awkwardly and pretended to be watching what was on the screen.
Harry tried to make himself comfortable on the other end but only ended up looking even more awkward.
''So how are the rest of the guys?'' She said making eye contact with him, and he was not going to break it. ''Good actually, Niall's got himself a girl actually.''
''What!'' She turned her whole body towards him and crossed her legs. He did the same. ''What's her name?''
''Um...I...Uh...It's Penelope.'' He almost shouted the last part.
''What? As in my Pennt, my best friend Penny?'' She remained puzzled.
''Yep.''
''But why didn't she tell me?'' Sophie was a little hurt that Penny hadn't spoke a word of it to her.
''She didn't want to rub her new relationship in your face, when your...you know.''
''I'm not in a mental hospital Harry.'' She chuckled throwing a pillow at him.
''You know what I mean.'' He chuckled too throwing the pillow back at her.
This is exactly what she wanted. To be able to talk to him, to joke around with him. Even if he is and always will be the love of her life, but Sophie decided to just overlook that minor detail at this moment in time.
Because at this very moment. Sophie was happy.
