When Lies Become Reality

"Jazz, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." Niall said rushing over to me once I arrived back home.

"I, I just saw Liz." I said looking up at him.

"Liz? But she- are you sure it wasn't just someone who looked like her?"

"No, it was her. We talked. She's alive Niall, she's alive."

"How?"

"I don't know, but I think I need to talk to Louis."

"Louis? No, there is no way I am going to let you go talk to him after what he did to you!" Niall said getting protective.

"It'll be okay. There will be people there. It won't be us all alone. Niall, you have to let me do this."

"Fine, but I am going to go with you and be waiting for you. I'll let you talk alone, but I am going to be right there in case anything happens." Niall said setting his terms

"Fine with me. Let's go." I agreed starting to head to the door.

"Wait, right now?"

"Yes right now, I have to talk to him as soon as possible." I quickly walked out the door with Niall following close behind. I got in the passenger seat as Niall got behind the wheel. We drove to the hospital where they were keeping Louis.

"Well, here goes nothing." I said once we parked the car getting out. I walked inside and went over to the receptionist desk.

"Hi, can I help you?" The receptionist asked with a smile

"Yes, I am here to see Louis Tomlinson." I told her smiling back.

"Right this way." She got up and started leading us to the other room.

"He is right over there." She pointed to the other side of the room. Sure enough, there was Louis sitting at a table.

"I'll be right here." Niall said to me. I walked over to where Louis was sitting down and I sat across from him. He looked up at me and his face was full of shock.

"Jazz? What are you doing here?"

"We need to talk. I ran into someone today, and by someone I mean Liz." When I said that his eyes got even bigger than they did before.

"I thought she was dead!"

"Alright, Jazz, there is a lot you don't know." He started.

"Like what?" I said slowly starting to get angry, "After all you did to me Louis you owe me."

"Jazz, I'm so sorry for what I've done. They've got things on me, threatened me. I didn't want to hurt you, but I had no choice. Now we're both in danger, and I have no way of stopping it."

"They've got what on you? And who are they? What danger? That raises more questions than answers." I said becoming more confused than I was before I came here.

"One day, not long after we met you, I was sitting at home and I heard a knock on my door. I went and when I opened it, there was a note taped addressed to me. I went inside and opened it. It was from someone, they didn't say who, but they threatened me that they would hurt El and my family if I didn't break you and Niall apart. I tried to ignore it because I didn't want to do it, but then things.. escalated. A few days later there was a photo on my door of my family and El sleeping with a knife held next to them. It said that if I didn't do as they asked, things would happen. I couldn't let them hurt them Jazz, I just couldn't," he was crying at this point, "You don't understand how sorry I am. I can't explain how terrible I feel and how badly I hope that you can forgive me. The whole time they were telling me what I needed to do. They told me that I needed to kill Liz. I didn't want to actually kill her. I didn't want to kill anyone! So I just made it seem like I did. I snuck into your apartment one night and explained everything to her. We made that fake tape and I told her to move. She understood and did what I asked. I just, I didn't want to do any of it. The worst part, I don't know who is threatening me. I just know that they are still out there and they are not happy. Now I'm in danger and so are you. A few days after I was put in here I received a note saying that I had not done what was asked and I was going to pay as well as you. I don't know what they are going to do and I am scared. Jazz, I am more scared than I have ever been in my life and I feel terrible for everything." He explained it all to me.

"Louis, I am still mad at you, and I can't believe you did all of that, but I forgive you. You became one of my best friends, and I want nothing more than to have him back. We will find out who this crazy person is, and we will end it all" I told him, "hopefully."
