Temporary Goodbyes

I woke up to an empty bed, Niall was gone. I reached over and grabbed my phone off the nightstand to look a the time. It was 8pm, I slept all day!? I guess that's what jet lag does to you. I got up and walked out to the kitchen.

"Hello beautiful. Did you sleep well?" He asked giving me a quick kiss as I walked over to him.

"I did, sorry I totally just slept all day. How long have you been up?"

"It's fine, I understand jet lag. I've been up for a while. I'm just making some pasta salad, do you want some? Though you might be hungry. You've only had plane food between being home and now." Just then my stomach made some noises signaling that I was, indeed, hungry. "Well I guess that's a yes then." He said chuckling a little bit as I gripped my stomach trying to make it sound quieter than it was. Sadly, it was not working.

"Yeah, I'm pretty hungry." I said laughing slightly while sitting down.

"So the car will be here to pick us up at around 11 tomorrow. Wear something you can dance in." Niall said and I got extremely confused why he would want me to wear something like that.

"Why would I need to wear something I can dance in..?" I asked

"Well, we were thinking it would be fun to learn a dance where all you girls dance with us. There will be at least one show where you guys will all be with us and we thought it would be fun." He said explaining to me

"Why didn't you tell me this before? I don't know, I would love to dance with you, or whatever it is you guys do, but going on stage in front of all those people? Do you know how scary that is?"

"Yes, actually I do." He said laughing

"Okay, well you got used to it. You have done it a ton of times before, I haven't."

"Well, let's see what everyone says tomorrow. It's not even a set thing. I would just love to have my girlfriend on stage with me, be able to show her off." He said grabbing my hands smiling at me.

"Fine, we'll talk and I will think about it, but just because you're so damn cute."

"Well look at you swearing and all." He said with a surprised look on his face.

"I know right, I don't do that often." I said laughing.

"Okay, well dinner is almost done. Do you want to get out some bowls and stuff?" He asked

"I would love to." I quickly found the things I needed and set them on the table. Niall brought over the pasta salad and we ate.

"This is really good." I said after a few minutes

"You sound surprised." he said laughing.

"I just didn't know you could cook."

"Well to be honest it's not that hard to make." He admitted

"Still, I like it. It's good." I said taking another bite.

"Thank you, love." He said and we continued eating. I just had the one bowl full, and Niall had
about 3. That boy can eat, and I thought I could eat.. I got up and started doing the dishes when Niall tried to stop me.

"You're a guest. You don't need to do the dishes." He said trying to take the dishes I started washing out of my hands.

"You made dinner! I want to do the dishes, let me do them." I protested.

"No." He said not giving up. We argued for a few more minutes until it ended up in a water fight.

"Well now that I am all soaking wet, I think I am going to go change and maybe we can watch a movie or something? Just stay in tonight? Since it's already 11?" I suggested catching my breath from laughing.

"I'm down. I'm going to go change too." He said starting to take off his shirt.

"Already starting to strip? Alright." I said laughing

"What, you complaining?" He asked pulling a ridiculous pose I couldn't help but laugh at.

"Not at all." I said as we started walking to the bedrooms to change. Once I was changed into some sweats and a t-shirt. I pulled up my hair into a ponytail and walked over to Niall's room.

"Wanna just watch a movie in here?" Niall asked, and I could tell he wanted to because he looked tired. I knew he was going to eventually fall asleep. I'm not as tired since I just woke up about 2 hours ago, but I will eventually fall asleep.

"Sure." I agreed.

"You look beautiful by the way." He said coming over and wrapping his arms around my waist smiling down at me.

"I'm dressed in sweats."

"And you still are just as beautiful as ever." He said kissing me.

"How did I ever deserve someone as sweet and cute as you?" I asked putting my arms around his neck.

"I think I'm the lucky one. Come on, let's cuddle." He said winking at me making me laugh slightly. We went to the bed and laid down watching a movie. About 3/4 of the way in Niall fell asleep. I kissed his cheek before turning to the movie. Once it ended, I put in another and watched that. I feel asleep right before it ended. I fell asleep cuddling the one I love, yet again.

Is it sad that I watched Tangled 2 1/2 times last night and I am watching it again tonight..? Yeah probably.. haha anyway thanks to all who are reading this! Tell me what you think!! :) I love when I get feedback! Let's me know what you guys are thinking.

Sorry it's kind of short, I am packing and stuff. I finally get to go home to Utah for the weekend!! I am so excited!! I get to see my friends and family! I haven't seen them in a few weeks, I've missed them.. and Utah surprisingly ;) haha anyway, I'll try and make it up this weekend.
