chapter 25
My eyes flutter open to the room illuminated by the morning sun. It so peaceful but i know there is more horror to come soon. Paul is probably still asleep. Then something comes to mind. My phone. The police should of been here hours ago. I sent out rescue messages too. Where is everyone?
-HARRY'S POV-
The tear stream down my face.
"YOU HAVE TO TRY YOU HAVE TO FIND HER!" i scream at the policeman
"i know, i know , sir, we are trying our best" he says calmly.
a lady about in her mid-thirties runs into the room. She holds her paper close to her chest. She bends down to whisper something in the policemans ear.
"um well we have a report that selena's phone was turned onto her emergency mode about 8:00pm last night. What happened last night when you got the text from selena?" he asks me.
"well.... I was sitting on the couch and i was watching the TV my phone vibrated on the coffee table it was from selena..." i pause as i feel the tears brim my eyes. "sh-sh-she texted me the words help me. i g-g-got off the couch and drove to her house. i knocked on the door and her mum answered. i told her about the text and she said she would check her phone to see if selena texted her to..... im-im sorry i-i-i cant go on"
i burrow my face into me hands.
"please harry, we need to figure this out to find selena..." he encourages
"i began running down the street-"
"and thats where you found her shoe" the investigater confirms.
"y-yes" i stutter.
the investigater puts her hand onto mine.
"don't worry harry, we will find her. we know you love her very much, we will get her back to you" she gives me a sad smile.
"good" i wipe my tears.
The policeman stands and shakes me hand.
"we will start tracking her phone right away, sir" he pats my shoulder with his other hand.
Another policeman opens the door from the outside, i step out to see louis waiting for me where he was before i went in.
"what did they say, harry" he whispers to me.
"that they will try their best to find her" i say.
"oh haz." he pats my upper back. "you love her, dont you"
"i dont know, all i know is i want her here with me..." i say looking down at the tiled floor.
"harry...thats love...it only takes a second to have a crush on someone, i t only takes a minute to like someone. But to love someone" he pauses. "it only takes a day"
