All I've Ever Wanted

Chapter twenty-six: Fearless with you

I can’t even begin to explain how crazy in love I am with Harry and how happy I am to be engaged to marry him in just a few short months. He makes me the happiest girl alive. I know if I never came to London to stay with Nichole for the summer, I never would have met him if I didn’t come. I am sure glad I did.

I am very sure things would be very different if I never came to London. My life would be very different if I never met him. I am glad I did because he makes me the happiest I have ever been. I don’t think I have ever been this happy in my entire life, well besides the day I graduated from high school, of course. If I never came to London, I bet I would still be back home in Los Angeles with a job working and spending time with my friends and family.

That is beside the point. Pretty much my whole life, I have always dreamed of the day that I will find the guy of my dreams. Turns out, it happened way earlier than I expected it to, and I am perfectly fine with that. Never in my life have I ever been so lucky to be with someone as loving as Harry is around me. I always thought when I was younger that I would never meet someone as great as he is and how he treats me.

I love Harry with everything I am, he is everything I have ever looked for in a guy. Every time we are together, I love how I can be so carefree and myself around him. There is never a dull moment between us, I am also very glad to have met the boys and their lovely girl friends as well. Over these past few months, we have all grown so close to each other.

“Sam, you alright, love?” Harry pulls me from my thoughts.

“I’m fine, Haz,” I tell him and turn to face him, a small smile on my face.

“You sure, babe? You seemed like you were zoned out there for a good couple minutes or so,” he says and rubs my arm lightly with his fingertips that were softly going over my skin.

“Was just thinking,” I say with a smile. “About you and how we met,” I say and feel him pull me closer to him as I feel him move one of his hands to my lower back and rub it lightly.

“Love you baby,” he whispers and pulls me closer. I smile and peck his lips.

“I love you too, babe,” I say back and wrap my small arms around his torso as I rest my chin on his shoulder. The two of us were currently sitting on the couch in the living room in his and Louis’ flat talking about who we are going to invite to the wedding.

“Who else are you thinking we should invite?” I ask, looking over at the boy with messy curls a top his head that managed to fall over his green eyes.

“Both of our families of course, love, and the lads and their girls, I dunno who else, babe. Who else are you thinking to invite?” he asks and reaches over and takes my hand in his and laces our fingers together.

“I don’t know,” I tell him with a slight chuckle. “I don’t know who else,” I say as I look over at him.

“Now, for our honeymoon…” Harry says and grabs me by the waist and pulls me on to his lap. I smile as I stare at him.

“Where are you taking me?” I ask curiously, a smirk on my face as I wrap my arms around his neck.

“That is a secret,” he smirks at me before he continues. “And you have to wait and see, my love,” he says and pokes my nose playfully with his index finger.

“Aww, your no fun, you know how much I hate surprises,” I pout and cross my arms over my chest.

“You’re going to love it, babe, I know you are,” he smiles and leans up to kiss my lips. I smile against his lips as I lean in to the kiss and press mine gently against his. Our lips begin to move in perfect sync with each other. His lips felt so soft yet amazing against my own. We pull away a couple minutes later.

Harry and I continue to plan some more things for the wedding for the next ten minutes or so. After about ten more minutes of planning, we decide to take a break. Harry and I glance up to see Nichole walk in to the living room, Louis close behind her.

“Hey love birds, planning for the big day I see?” Nichole asks a warm smile and gestures to the many wedding magazines around me and Harry. The magazines were scattered all over the coffee table and the couch where we sat.

“Yup,” I say popping the ‘p’ and let out a sigh.

“Sounds fun, ha ha,” she says as Louis comes forward and plops down on the couch next to Harry and pulls Nichole down with him.

“I’m so bored,” Louis says and lets out a big sigh.

“Go find something to do, mate; I’m sure you’ll find something to do,” Harry says with a chuckle and grabs my waist pulling me close to him so I was practically sitting in his lap, not that I minded at all. He leans forward and presses a kiss to my cheek.

“I want to do something fun,” he says and looks at Nichole before turning his gaze over to Harry and I.

“Like what?” I ask in curiosity as I look at Louis.

“I dunno, like go bowling or something, we should all do something fun like that before you two get married, because we probably won’t see you as much then,” he says and smiles. He had a good point, besides the wedding where all of us would be together; this is probably one of the last times in a long while we’ll all get to spend together.

“We should!” I reply with a smile.

“Oh, I heard that there’s a carnival in town for the weekend, how about we call up the girls and guys and see if they all want to go with us? It would be so awesome, what do you say, Lou?” Nichole says looking over at her boyfriend who sat beside her.

“Sounds fun, we should go. What do you think, Hazza?” Louis smiles at his best friend who nods in reply back to him.

“Love, what do you say? Would you like to go? I want you to,” Harry says and looks at me with a warm smile on his face.

“Yeah, I’d love to go, Haz,” I tell him with a small smile.

“Come on, babe, let’s go clean up and change before we leave,” Harry says before he lightly pushes me off his lap. As Harry and I head for the stairs, Louis tells us that he will call the boys and ask if they want to go with us.

Once we get up to our room we were sharing until we find a place of our own, I go over to the closet and start to look for an outfit to wear. I decide on a pair of dark wash skinny jeans and a simple v-neck. I grab my clothes before I head toward the bathroom so I could take a quick shower and change.

After my shower, I step out and wrap a towel around my body and put my freshly washed hair up in the other towel. I dry myself off and slip on my clean underwear and bra before I drop my towel to the floor. After I take out the towel and let my hair down, I slip in to my jeans before I start to style my hair. I finish getting ready about five minutes later.

We were all at the carnival, having a great time. Each of us are walking with our significant others engaged in our own conversations. Harry and I were going along and laughing about the most random things.

“Sam?” Harry asks as we stop walking, smiling down at me, his dimples showing.

“Yeah, Haz?” I ask with a smile as I look at him.

“I want to take you on the Ferris wheel, love, go with me?” he asks with a grin as he looks at me. I shift my gaze to the dirt on the ground as I think whether or not I should go. I wanted to but then again I didn’t because I have a fear of heights and being up super high in the air. For the next few minutes, I contemplate whether I should go or not. I really wanted to but then there’s the other part of me that is telling me not to go.

“You alright, love?” Harry pulls me from my thoughts.

“I-I’m fine, babe,” I give him a reassuring smile as I take a gulp while I glance up at the big round structure before me.

I remember ever since I was about five or six, I went on a Ferris wheel for the first time with my dad at an amusement park. I didn’t like it, being how high it takes you far up in to the air. The whole ride I clung to my father and cried. Another thing I didn’t like about it was the fact that once it got to the top it comes to a complete standstill for the next five minutes or so before it begins to move and descend back to the bottom.

“You sure, Sam?” he asks and reaches up to push some loose hairs that were hanging in my face over my eyes as I stare at him. He smiles and cups my face in his hands.

“You know you can tell me anything, babe, and I’ll listen,” he says in a serious tone and leans in toward my lips and cupping my face in his hands.

“I bet you’re probably going to laugh at me,” I tell him with a sigh as I look up at him.

“What is it, babe? Tell me, I won’t laugh at you,” he says and grabs me by the waist, pulling me closer to him.

“I’m afraid of…of heights,” I tell him as I stare up at him.

“Really?” he asks as he looks at me.

“Yeah,” I tell him and smile a bit.

“Want to know something, babe?” Harry asks, looking at me.

“Sure,” I tell him and nod to let him know to continue.

“I’m afraid of heights myself,” he admits with a smile. I let out a chuckle at his statement. Harry Styles of One Direction is afraid of heights? Never would have I ever thought that.

“Really? You are? I never thought you would be,” I tell him in all honesty.

“I am, love, but since we have each other, we can conquer our fear together, yeah?” he says with a smile.

“I guess so,” I tell him and peck his lips. I smile as I feel his lips crash against mine and kisses me deeply. Our lips move in perfect sync with each other for the next couple minutes or so before we pull away. I take his hand and lace my fingers with his.

“I love you,” Harry whispers in my ear after we pull away.

“Come on, love, let’s do this,” Harry says and tightens his grip on my hand as we head off toward the Ferris wheel. I’m sure we’ll meet up with the girls and boys later, because they were probably off doing God knows what.

We get in to the line as we get behind a bunch of other people who were waiting to get on the Ferris wheel. I smile to myself as I feel Harry wrap one of his strong arms around my waist and pull me close to him. I grab his hand and lace our fingers together and hold on to it tightly. I was super nervous but glad that I was going to do this with Harry, glad for both of us, actually.

While we stood in line, there were a few girls who asked Harry for his autograph and a picture or two. He gladly took them and signed some pictures they had. One girl even asked for a picture with me, I gladly accepted. I love most of their fans that support my relationship with Harry. Don’t even get me started on the ones who don’t support us.

Before we know it, we are finally at the front of the line, ready to get on. Once we get the clear that we can go forward and get in the vacant seat, Harry and I take a seat and I feel him pull me tight and close against him once they lock the latch in place.

“I’m right here babe, nothing’s going to happen, I’m right here,” Harry whispers in my ear as it slowly begins to move. He places a soft kiss on my cheek and pulls me even closer to him.

I tighten my grip around his torso and breathe in the smell of his aftershave. I knew I would always be safe with him. Have to admit, I had a great day today with Harry and the boys and girls. I am definitely ready for the next few months to come since I’m going to be married to Harry in a few months.
