Dani’s POV
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and immediately rang up Liam.

“Hello! How is my beau-“

“No time to talk. Ara, park NOW!” I hung up. Where could Ara have gone? I hope no one has taken her. We should have been watching.

Liam’s POV
Dani called me. She sounded so worried. We needed to get to the park to see what was going on and why Ara was mentioned.

“Guys something’s wrong. Dani called said something about Ara and the park. We need to go.”

“Ara? What’s wrong is she okay?” Harry asked.

“I- I don’t know Haz…”

Arabella’s POV
We were walking in the park when my phone vibrated. I stepped away quickly to see that it was my mom. Why is she calling? She hates me.

“What do you want?” I sneer at her.

“Ara, before you hang up, hear me out,” she said. I could hear her sobbing. “I am so sorry for being a horrible mother. I’m sorry for comparing you to your brother. I was never there for you as your mother figure. I can’t say the same for your dad though. I love you so much…”

“Mom, what’s going on? Why are you crying? Are you okay?” She may not have been there for me all my life, but her voice was genuine. I heard a door slam open through the phone. My mom dropped the phone. I could still hear her though.

“No! No, stop! Please!” she begged the person.

“Shut up woman! You are disobedient and you must pay!” Oh my gosh! My dad was threatening my mom!

“N-“ was the last thing I heard before- THUD! I put two and two together. My own dad had killed my mom, and I heard everything.

“NO! MOM PLEASE!”

“Who the fuck is this? Ara?”

“You monster!” I yelled at him.

“Listen bitch! I know you live in London. You’re next. Tell anyone, your boyfriend or anyone, and they get hurt too…” then the line went dead.

I ran as fast as I could. No one would see me cry. I climbed up to the branch thickest oak tree, pulled my knees to my chest, and cried. My mother had just been killed, and I was next…

I had to get out of here. My life could potentially put everyone I love in harm. I was a disaster. I sat in that tree and sobbed silently for hours.

Harry’s POV
We had finally arrived at the park and four girls ran towards us.

“Where’s Bella?” I ask.

“We don’t know,” Dani said.

“What do you mean you don’t know?”

“She was here one minute and gone the next,” Perrie replied.

“Well we have to find her!”

“Alright, Dani and I will go that way, Louis and El you go that way. Perrie and Zayn head towards those buildings and Luke and Harry head towards those trees searching along the way,” Liam devised a plan. We nodded and started off in our different directions.

∞2 hours later ∞
“I don’t know Harry. I don’t think we’re gonna find her,” Luke stated. “We’ll just call the cops; let them handle it.”

“No! We have to keep looking! She means everything to me…”

“I know man, but-“

“Shhh…” I shush him. I hear someone sobbing. “Do you hear that?”

“Yeah, is someone crying?”

We look up in the trees. A few trunks away sits a very familiar girl. Bella…

“I’ll go tell the others, you take care of her,” Luke says then walks off.

I walk over to her. Why is she crying? Is she okay?

“Bell?”

Arabella’s POV
I shoot my head up. My face is streaked with tears. I can almost see my makeup in a mess on my face.

“H- Harry?” I stutter. I wipe fresh tears from my face. “What are you doing here?”


“We’ve been looking for you for the past two hours. Why are you crying up in that tree?”

Two hours? I was gone for two hours? I didn’t know what to do. Do I tell him? His life would be put at risk though. I loved Harry and everyone else. I couldn’t risk their lives as mine is already at stake. I jumped down from my spot in the tree. I look up and into his glowing green eyes full of concern. Tears started to fall from my face again and he instantly put his arms around me. I sobbed into his chest.

“Let’s get you him. You can tell me when you are ready,” he told me. He carries me to the car. Obviously Luke had warned the others, and they didn’t say anything. I had a lot of explaining to do.
