Chapter 2

--Stella's POV--

I woke up to the sun hitting my eyes through the glare of my windows. I sat up, shifting my weight to one side as I felt my head heat up. I rubbed my temples lightly, standing up slowly. I heard myself groan as my head began to pound loudly in my skull.

“Killer hangover?” I heard a husky voice call from the kitchen. I made my way over, surprised to see breakfast on the counter and Harry, smiling up at me.

“Um, yeah.” I took a seat next to him, and sipped the water.

“Theres some advil right here.” He pointed to a small napkin next to my cup.

“Thanks.” I grumbled, chugging the water down. “Did you cook all this?” I asked curiously, eating my eggs.

“Yup.” He smiled proudly, sipping his orange juice.

“There is room service here, you know?” I smiled sarcastically, as he refilled my cup with more water.

“You sleep like a rock.” Harry chuckled, “I dropped the frying pan maybe six times..”

“The power of scotch.” I smiled at my plate, “Makes you fall asleep instantly.”

“About that, Stella. Don't you think you need to slow down on the alcohol..” Harry trailed off, rethinking his suggestion. “I mean, its a lot for your small body to take in.”

I looked down at my feet, emberrassed. “I know. It just...it helps.”

“With what?” Harry leaned in closer, “Helps with what?’

“With..with being here.” I grumbled, shifting nervously in my seat.

“I want to he-” Harrys eyes locked on mine as a loud ‘thump’ pounded from outside my door.

“I'm here to clean, Miss Stella.” Harry pulled away as Solana, my maid, strolled in.

“Ooooh, Miss Stella, very handsome man you have.” Solana pointed at Harry, smiling sweetly at him.

“Hes not, I mean no, not like that.” I laughed as Harry blushed, playing shyly with the food on his plate.

“I go!” Solana winked at me, pulling her cart out of my room. “Be safe, okay?”

Once the door had clicked shut, we both laughed it off. “I should go shower.” I stood up, grabbing our plates off the table.

“I got it.” Harry followed, grabbing the plates from my hand. He smiled, scraping the food of the plates.

“Thanks for breakfast Harry.” I shouted as I ran down the hall to my bathroom.

--Harrys POV--

God, she was so interesting, and beautiful, and so different. Nothing like me. I needed to make an impression. I called Liam after I had hung up on Niall; he suggested I cook her a meal and surprise her. She seemed genuinely shocked as she stumbled into the kitchen to see a full course meal across her table. I would say I did exactly what I set out to do. Stella left to shower as I paced her suite, snooping around.

“Hello?” I grumbled, picking my phone up as it buzzed lightly on the glass table.

“Harry? Where are you? Were going shopping today, remember?” Niall asked through the phone as I picked up the small polaroid of Stella.

“Oh, yeah. I forgot! Sorry.” I muttered, slipping the picture into my back pocket.

“Don't say sorry!” Niall whined, “Hurry up on over here!” I laughed, picking up the picture of me kissing Stella on the cheek.

“Okay, Okay.” I grinned, “I'll be over in ten.” I hung up. I decided on leaving the picture here with her, to remind her of me. I quickly snapped a picture, of the picture of us, and set it to my background on my phone. That way we could both have it, sense it was the only one we took together.

“Stella!” I called after her, knocking lightly on her bathroom door.

“Yeah? Come in.” I walked into the steamy bathroom.

“I have to go, Niall wants to go shopping with me today.”

She poked her head out of the shower curtain. “Who’s Niall?’ She asked, soap sliding down her head.

I almost forgot that she didn't know who I was, or what I was apart of. “Oh! A friend.” I laughed as she playfully flicked water at me.

“Okay, Harry. It was nice meeting you, foreign chap.” She giggled sliding back behind the curtain. “Oh! And thanks for breakfast, again.” She called after me as I closed the bathroom door. I smiled to myself, happy that my impression really had made an impression on her after all.

--

“And you like her, why?” Niall asked, swinging his shopping bags back and forth.

“I don't know. She doesn't ask questions about my life, and she doesn't blab about hers. I mean, shes funny, and sweet.” I could go on forever, but I decided to stop there as Niall looked at me suspiciously.

“Did she brainwash you, mate. I mean its been a night? Not even 24 hours.” Niall chuckled.

“I know, I know. Shes just so...” I raked my mind for the perfect word.

“Hot.” Niall winked at me as I hit him in the head with my bag.

“I wanna meet her.” Niall nodded,”If shes so amazing, why not show her off.”

“I don't know if thats a good idea.” I went on, “I don't want her to be creeped out, Niall. I mean, she doesn't even know about our band, and everything.”

“Is she mental?” Niall joked, punching me in the arm playfully, “You'll have to tell her about it.”

“I know. But the thing is,” I scratched my head, thinking about everything she said last night, “I think she's some sort of..I don't know, celebrity or something.”

“What?” Niall asked, suddenly interested.

“She was talking about paparazzi, and Niall, her suite in the motel, is ten times bigger than ours.” Niall cocked his head to the side, pulling out his phone.

“I'm googling this girl.” He laughed, ”What her name?”

“Stella King.” I sighed, as Nialls fingers typed away.

“Oh Harry, you've got yourself into this one, haven't you?” Niall whispered, scrolling with his thumb. “My god.”

“Let me see.” I swished forward, missing his phone as Niall steered away.

“Harry, I think you should talk to her about this.” Niall stared at me, the familiar playfulness in his eyes suddenly replaced with a dense seriousness.

“What, Niall?” I begged, glancing desperately at his phone.

“Shes in the tabloids, no doubt.” Niall shook his head,”Her whole family, actually.”
