Trouble
Chapter 1
Emily’s POV:
I woke up to the sound of my parents yelling down stairs. It was the day after Christmas, my house was not at all jolly. I rolled over and picked up my iphone, I turned it on, it was 12:06pm. That was the time I have been waking up for the whole break. Suddenly, my phone vibrates and its Lily.
Lily: Heyy! I’m at Starbucks! Wanna come?
Me: Kk!
Lily: Just woke up?
Me: lol yes :/ b there in 20
I got out of my bed and went into the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth then it was time to pick an outfit. Since I was lazy today, I decided on a sweatshirt and leggings, my usual. I did a little makeup, putting on concealer, mascara, and eye liner. I picked up my iphone and put on my cat case, then put on my favorite bracelet. My parents were standing in the kitchen yelling at eachother until they realized I was there and then they stopped. It has been like this for the past 2 weeks, all I hear from them is screaming. Since I am a only child, I can't talk about it with someone, sometimes I feel so alone in this world. All I have is Lily, but of course I love Lily. She is always so happy.
“Where are you going?” My mom says,
“Starbucks, i am meeting Lily. What else?” I say. My dad takes a bite of his toast, looking a little awkward. I walk to the door and open it, then I turn around and say,
“Oh and you guys don't need to hide your fighting, its all I hear” I slam the door shut and get in my moms car. I turn on the radio and Story of My Life by One Direction comes on. God I love this song. I am not a big fan of one direction but Lily kinda is. What am I saying. She is obsessed. Absolutely obsessed. I hated them at once, but when we started becoming friends she made me like them. I belt out the lyrics, hoping no one will see me. But I really dont care anymore. I park in front of Starbucks and walk in. Lily is sitting at a table with her Venti iced chai latte, her usual. I walk over to her and hug her. I order my grande caramel brulee latte and sit across from her. I look down at what she is wearing. Oh. My. God.

“We are going to meet One Direction. Well 2 out of 5 of them!” She says
“WHAT? I am not going to go meet stupid “1D”” I say
“You have too!! NIALL is going to be there! OMG, im so excited! Do you like my outfit?”
“It is crazy, maybe a little bit too crazy for my taste, but it looks fine” I sip my latte then say,
“Wait why are they even here? When are famous people in Holmes Chapel?”
“You didn’t know? OMG! Well, harry grew up here! They are on tour from break and harry brought Taylor Swift, his girlfriend. And guess what? Niall’s is here for a few weeks visiting harry and a few other people he knows here. Isnt that so cool?”
“Uhhh, ya sure. Anyways.. how did you figure out when to meet them?”
“Good question, well I have connections, and I figured out when they are having a meet and greet? You know what that is?
“ya---”
“Ok so a meet and greet is when someone famous sits at some kind of table and a line of fans get to meet them and they sign whatever! and OMG im so excited! We are meeting One Direction!!!”
“Yay…” I say in a not excited voice.
“OMG.. we have to go!” She gets up and walks out of starbucks and I follow her. We get in my car and she directs me where to go. She obviously turns on One Direction. We start belt to Does he Know while laughing. She turns off the music and tells me to park here. I park and we get out of the car. I follow her into a huge room, this sucks. They are a bunch of screaming girls standing in a huge line. We got in the back, this was going to take a while..
30 minutes later….
Okay, now there are only 2 people before us until we meet them. I honestly dont wanna be here, i mean it is cool that we are meeting a famous person, but I dont care. Obviously, Lily is freaking out. She is crying/screaming because she can see Niall Horan. I don't know how people can get THAT abessed over one person, like its just a human being. Now there is only one person left, we are next. Lily keeps screaming, “AHHH WE ARE NEXT TO MEET MY FUTURE HUSBAND, THIS IS SO EXCITING” God. She was crazy. The person in front of us says their goodbyes and its our turn.
