Mirrors (A Harry Styles Fanfic)

"What is this" Mark says as he picks up an item of clothing from the boys' dressing room floor, a cheeky smile on his face as he waves it at me.

"Mark, put that down, now"

"Alright" he says and tries to put it in his bag but I snatch it and place it on one of the boys' chairs.

We came in before the boys finished the concert but I had been having so much fun. Nick comes back inside with three water bottles; I hadn't realized how thirsty I was.

"I asked if they were almost done, they need one more song and they're done" he says as I take a bottle from him.

I'm going to admit; I am really excited to see Harry. I'm even excited to see all the boys. The last time I talked to Harry was like three days ago and it was a very simple conversation, I didn't want to interrupt anything important.

I decide to clean up the mess in my closet once I realized I was never going to find my black flower top. As I'm sorting my shirts my phone vibrates in my pocket, I just left work about an hour ago, I hope it's not Nick.

It's Harry, "Hi Harry" I say with a smile

"Hey Piper! Thought I'd give you a call, yesterday when I texted you seemed upset, what happened?" How does this boy have time to think about other things when he's so busy? I didn't think he would notice that

"It's nothing" I start, I really don't want to bother him, "it's just... forget it, it is not important" I find my top under three pairs of jeans. I fold it and place it with my other tops

"If it bothered you enough to not laugh that much at my jokes then it is important" he says seriously, I giggle at the memory of one of the jokes

"It just that it was my father's birthday and I called him but he wouldn't answer any of my twenty calls" I tell him

"I'm sorry Piper" he sights, I've only told him about my dad not wanting contact with me after l dropped out, "it's his loss" I can feel his smile through the phone

"Thanks Harry" I smile, I've never had a friend who noticed things like that. My friends always found out about things that bothered me if I didn't talk to them for a whole day but that would only happen in extreme situations. In other times I'd just try to push it away and hide it, I guess I'm not good at it.

"Now let's talk about something else, what have you done since I've been gone?" I briefly tell him about meeting Justin Timberlake and how I'm trying to clean the mess that is my bedroom.

"What about you?" he goes on about the concerts, he is so passionate about it I actually get excited for him.

Midway through his description of one of the concerts I hear someone in the background calling for hi, "I'll be over in a bit, give me a minute" he gets back to the story. Once he is done the asks about me Nan

"She's great, you know just being all grandmother like" I laugh, "I have to go Harry" I lie

"It's fine, you're not interrupting" he said

"What? My lie about having something else to do wasn't believable because of my boring life?" I laughs

He joins me and says "No, it's just you being boring that makes me believe you do nothing other than clean your closet!" he laughs harder

"Hey! I have a life! But seriously my brother is about to get home and I promised I'd hang out with him"

"Alright Piper, I will talk to you soon, have a lovely day" he says and I could picture those dimples as he smiles.

"Have a lovely day too Harry"

The door from the dressing room opened and I could hear voices

"Oh my gosh! I thought it was a man!" Lou comes in followed by who I believe is Gemma; Harry's sister

"Hi Nick!" Gemma says and runs to hug him

"Hey girl, long time no see Gem"

"I know, what's up with that" she says with a familiar dimpled smile.

"Hey Nick" says Lou as she sits on one of the couches in the back next to the clothing racks.

"Hey Lou"

I walk over to where Gemma and Nick are, "Hi, I'm Piper and this is my brother Mark" I point to my brother who is still messing around.

"You're Piper?" asks Lou from her seat, she stands up and walks over "I knew I recognized that face, I'm Lou" she pulls me into a hug

I'm taken back by her hug. "Hi Lou" I say as she pulls away, next thing I know Gemma is pulling me into a hug as well

"I'm Gemma, Harry's sister" she says into the hug

"Yeah, he mentions you a lot" I say with a smile as she pulls away.

"Same with you" she says with a smile. The door opens again and Louis walks in, followed by the rest of the boys.

"Yeah, that was great!" he says to no one in particular, he sees Nick and nods at him, then smiles at everyone else.

"Piper?" says that raspy voice I haven't heard in a while

"Hey Harry" he jogs over and pulls me into a hug, for someone who has been sweating he doesn't smell that bad

"Sup Gemma" I hear Niall say, "Who are you?" I pull away from the hug and realize Niall is talking about my gaping brother

"Erm, that's my brother Mark" I walk over and squeeze his arm to bring him back to earth, "huge fan of yours"

"Umm... yeah, fan a huge" he manages to say

"Nice to meet you man" Zayn says and shakes his hand, "Hey Pipes" he says and kisses my cheek

I lead my brother to a chair and tell him to chill. I stand leaning on the wall next to Mark's chair.

"Nick didn't tell me you were coming" Harry says as he takes off his shirt, I don't know if I should look or not so I just look at Nick

"Well I did say we were going to surprise him" he smiles

"Yeah, I thought he didn't know you were coming either" I narrow my eyes at him.

"No, he told me" Harry says beside me, "hey Niall, toss me that black shirt"

I look over at my brother to check if he's alive, he's alive alright he's gawking at Harry. Oh Markie.

"So what are we doing?" asks Gemma from her seat next to Lou.

"I was thinking a drive around town and maybe some yogurt?" Harry says, he's smiling at me and I smile back. I realize that he was kind of asking for my opinion on that

"That sounds like fun" I say quickly.

Liam and Louis go back to the hotel, wanting to catch up on their sleep. Zayn, Niall, Gemma, Lou, Harry, Nick, Mark and I head outside the stadium once everyone has gone. Well most people because there are still some girls outside waiting to take some pictures, the boys take a couple of pictures and a body guard takes us to a Range Rover outside the parking lot. Niall decides to drive and Zayn runs towards the car screaming shut gun. Harry, Nick and I sent to the back and my brother sits with the other girls. Even though my father is a car dealer for a famous brand, I've never been inside a car this fancy, there's a screen behind almost every one of these comfortable seat. And the speakers are really good because Niall just starting blasting some music video on the screens. Zayn brings down the window and tells the body guard not to follow them

"We'll be alright; I'll call if anything happens. Just go back to the hotel and get some rest" he presses a button and the window rolls up. We have no idea where to go but Niall takes off

"Gemma can Ii have my banana" Harry says while taping her shoulder, she turns around and hands it to him and rolls her eyes. Give it to Harry to eat a banana out of nowhere.

"Next time, save a banana on a man purse" she says and Harry laughs!. He starts peeling the banana from the bottom.

"From the bottom?" I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah" he takes a bite and smiles showing his teeth displaying the beautiful dimples, "it tastes better"
