Mirrors (A Harry Styles Fanfic)

I just had my interview at BBC R1 with Nick. I have never been so nervous about job interview; I really hope I get the job. It isn't an important job but I know that I really will like it: I will be surrounded by music and maybe people I've looked up to since I was small, right before I entered the interview Nick said a really successful female artist had been sitting on the chair I sat. My insides where screaming but I told myself not to over react, otherwise I would never get the job.
"You got this" said Mark as I got into the passenger seat of Nan's car. I really, really hope I do Markie.

Well, I got the job!
My job at BBC Radio 1 is the best job ever, not only do I listen to music the whole morning; I get to meet so many amazing people. It's been two months since I started working here and I have enjoyed every waking moment, even if it means I have to wake up at four in the morning to get to work on time. Being Nick's assistant isn't hard, I thought he'd be a diva and make me do a bunch of shitty things for him but it's nothing like that. He makes me check that everything is in place before he gets to the studio, make sure the guests are on time and have what they need. I've actually become close friends with him, he'll constantly ask me to hang out when we're not working. I love this job so much; it's incredible being so close to the music, and actually learning a lot about producing. It kind of makes me think about wanting to make some music of my own. It's really nice to have a friend like him; I've never really been good at making friends, not after my mum, I just gave up.
I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket, "Hello Nick" I said
"Hey kid, are you at the studio yet?"
"Duh, who do you think you're talking to" I say with a laugh.
"Well, One Direction should be there soon, although those cheeky bastards like to be late just to make me mad. Just make sure they are there before the show starts"
"Will do buddy, drive safe" I say and hang up. My brother wanted to come today because he knew who would be here, I literally had to lock myself in the car so he would not get in and I could leave
"Ello?" a voice said behind me, I turned around to find Louis Tomlinson peeking his head through the door. He found me standing in the corner and walked in, followed by the rest of the boys. I could not move.
"Hello, I'm Louis" he said as he put out his hand for me to shake.
"HI, I'm Piper" I whisper. The rest of the boys introduced themselves as their bodyguards and management walked in. I'll be honest; they look really handsome, just like I remember them to be. "You can take a seat inside, Nick is on his way" I smile
"Alright, thanks babe!" says Liam as he walks in, followed by Zayn and Louis. Niall and Harry walk over to the snack table and grab a couple of things. Usually I know what to do, but right now I have no idea how to even walk. I take a deep breath and walk over to the booth
"Would you boys- guys like something to drink" awesome Piper.
"I'll have some tea please love" Louis says with a smile
"I'll have some water"
"Me too" I close the booth door and walk towards the snack table
"Would you like something to drink?" I ask Harry and Niall
"Na, I'm good" says Niall as he stuffs a sandwich bite in his mouth
"I'd like some water please" Harry says with that familiar dimpled smile.
"Okay" I whisper, I turn towards the door and feel feet follow me, I turn to find an over-towering tattooed ripped jeans and plain black shirt wearing Styles smiling at me
"I'll help" he says, I smile and turn back towards the cafeteria.
"So, you're Nick's new assistant?"
"Yep" I say as we stepped into the elevator.
"I he dick?" he asked, I look at him, a serious expression across his face. He smiles
"No, he's not" I giggle
"Do you like your job?" the elevator stops and the doors open, "After you" he says and waves for me to pass
"Thank you" I say. "I do, I really do like this job. I mean, I'm surrounded by music and incredible artists and I get to learn a lot about the industry"
"Do you want to be a singer?"
"No no, hell no! I just really like music. I would love to be part of making music one day" I smile at him. He returns a humble smile. He's really sweet, and his comfortable essence calms the fangirl in me.
The show was great, I'm positive we had a lot of listeners today which is great and they boys where absolutely hilarious. I've just finished cleaning after the mess Niall made as the boys walk out of the booth. Harry walks towards me with that dimpled smile
"Sorry about that..." Niall says behind him
"It's okay" I smile at him
"Seriously Niall, clean after yourself" tells Liam
"Sorry! The show was going to start" They both walk out
"Nice meeting you Piper" Zayn says with a smile
"Yeah, see you later" Louis smiles and walks out following Zayn.
"Coming Harry?" Paul asks at the door
"Yeah" he says. I'd forgotten that he was standing next to me; he turns to look at me "It was really nice meeting you Piper"
"You too Harry" I try not to smile too wide. I honestly feel like I've been acting way too excited around them. I'm sure I made a fool of myself and Harry is just being nice. He waves and walks towards the door
"Hey Harold," Nick says as he walks out of the booth, "You're coming to Rita's party right?"
"That's tonight? Yeah I'll come" he says, "Will she be there" Harry says as he points at me
"Erm" I begin
"Of course, she's my bitch" Nick says with a stupid smile as he grabs his man purse.
"Fuck you!" I tell him as I show him my favorite finger, both Nick and Harry start laughing.
