Two Bands One Song

“Good morning.” Harry said before kissing my cheek and walking into mine and Grace’s house. Last night after we got my niece and nephew he left to go back to the hotel he and the boys were staying at.

“Hey. Kylie is awake and Chris is still asleep.” I said as I closed the door and led him into the kitchen where Kylie was eating her applesauce. I sat down across from her and Harry sat down in the chair next to me and pulled me into his side.

“Have you heard about Robin William’s babe?” Harry asked me and I shook my head and stood up and ran upstairs to grab my laptop. I let it turn on as I walked down the stairs and sat back down at the table. Once my computer was on I typed in my password and pulled up Google. I typed in Robin Williams and many articles about his suicide came up and my breath caught into my throat. He honestly gave me my inspiration and taught me I could do anything. He is the reason I want to act. He and I are dealing with some of the same problems even though they may not be alike.

“Come here.” Harry said as I began to cry. I know I’m being selfish and only thinking of myself right now when I should really be thinking about his family and friends. Robin William’s has been my child hood and my savior. Even though I never met him he has touched me in so many ways and has made me 7stronger.

“Why?” Was all I whispered into Harry’s chest as he just let me cry without judging me. He rubbed my back soothingly.

“He wasn’t happy here honey, but where he is now he is happy and watching down on all of his fans, friends, and family. I didn’t know you cared about him so much though.” Harry said and I nodded my head as Kylie began banging her hands on the kitchen table.

“Why don’t you go wake up bubby and play outback?” Harry asked her and she nodded her head before he helped her up the stairs. I pulled my knees into my chest and logged into twitter and saw #RIPRobinWilliams trending on twitter. I went to create a tweet and thought about what I wanted to tweet for a while.

Almost instantly my tweet was favourited and retweeted. I logged off the app and closed my computer and cried into my knees until I didn’t have any more tears. When Harry came down with the kids they ran out back and he sat down next to me again and pulled me into his side.

“I saw your tweet babe. Do you want to talk about it?” Harry asked me and I nodded my head before sighing.

“When my sister died I went into a deep depression and consider ending it. One night it was just Charlie and I at home so I went into my room and turned on my TV so I had noise so Charlie would think things were normal. I almost died, but Charlie walked into my room soon enough and called an ambulance. Once I was able to have visitors both my brothers came and stayed in my room with me and they brought our collection of Robin Williams’ movies with them. As I was watching the movies I saw the pain in his eyes that he was trying to mask and realized that he was living through it and making others laugh and smile just by doing what he loves. So I did the exact same thing. “RV’ was the last movie my sister and I ever watched together also. I know it seems stupid, but its true and my story.” I said as I watched Chris push Kylie on the swing.

“He will always be with you in your heart to inspire you and give you strength. He is now your guardian angel. I will do my best to help you through anything and I’ll protect you from anything and anyone. So how about I stay here with you this week, since Grace is staying with Niall this week.” Harry said and I nodded my head and hugged him and he took a picture of us.

“Awnt Charwet jump jump!” Kylie yelled running into the house meaning she wanted me to go on the trampoline with her and I nodded my head before pulling Harry up with me.

“Isn’t your management going to flip out when they see the tweet?” I asked with the realization of what his tweet said hit me and he just shrugged his shoulders with a smile.

“Let them. I want to let the world know you’re mine girl!” Harry sang using a line from his song ‘They Don’t Know about Us’. I laughed at his cheesiness and got on the trampoline. I sat down and held onto Kylie’s waist as he jumped. Harry sat behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

“Don’t you have to go to the hotel and get some things?” I asked as Kylie plopped into my lap as Chris jumped around.

“Yeah, but I can get that later when I get us pizza for dinner.” Harry said and I nodded my head. I took my phone out of my pocket as Kylie went to jump with her brother. I took a picture of Harry and I. I smiled and at the last minute Harry turned and kissed my cheek.

“I think I want a tattoo.” I said looking at Harry.

“Have you got one before?” he asked me and I shook my head and he gave me an apprehensive smile.

“I want one for my sister and then I want another to do with Robin Williams. Maybe a small heard with his initials on my wrist and then my sister’s initials in another small heart right next to it. Or is that too weird since I didn’t really know him?” I asked.

“That would be perfect babe. We could actually go today if you want to and drop the kids off at the hotel with Liam and Zayn to watch. Do you have a sketch?” Harry asked me and I shook my head.

“Why don’t you go sketch something and I’ll stay out here with kids.” Harry said and I kissed his cheek before going and getting whit printer paper and my colored pencils. I sat at the kitchen table with my legs crossed in the chair and drew two hearts whose bottoms were touching in two different colors. In the sky blue colored heart I wrote “RW” for Robin Williams’ and then in the periwinkle colored heart I wrote “CMO” for my sister Caroline. I then made a banner type thing at the bottom of the two hearts with the words “Stay Strong” in a light blue. I smiled down at it as Harry and the kids came in.

“I love it babe. We can go now if you want to. Liam and Zayn both said they would watch them for us.” Harry said so I got my shoes as well as Chris’ and Kylie’s shoes and walked back downstairs. I handed Harry Kylie’s shoes so he can help her and I handed Chris his shoes.

“Where are we going Aunt Char?” Chris asked as we got into Harry’s car. I told him it was a surprise.

Getting my tattoo hurt a little bit, but it was worth it. I stepped out and Harry walked over to me with a smile on his face.

“Well.” He said expectantly and I smiled as I showed him my wrist that was wrapped.

“I love it babe. Want to visit Grace before we get Chris and Kylie?” Harry asked me as we walked out the shop hand in hand.

“I would love to.” I said and he nodded his head as we got into the car. Once inside I pulled up my twitter up and saw a tweet from Chris Colfer that was sooo true.

@chriscolfer: Robin Williams was my hero growing up. You know someone is special when the whole world considers them family.

I couldn’t agree more so I favorite it and retweet it before scrolling down more into my twitter feed. I read some tweets from both mine and Harry’s fans in reaction to the picture Harry posted on twitter which reminded me I want to post the picture I took on twitter.

I locked my phone and started at the window at the sights passing by. When we got to the hospital we went upstairs into Grace’s room to see Grace and Niall cuddled up on her bed.

“Hey love birds. Everything ok?” I asked as I walked in with Harry behind me.

“Not fully, but we will get there soon I hope. Anyways what are you guys doing up and about this early?” Niall asked me as Harry and I sat down in chairs.

“Lotts wanted to get a tattoo so Zayn and Liam are watching the little ones and we are here.” Harry said smiling at me and I nodded my head.

“Damn Char trying to be badass. I want to see.” Grace said and I showed them my wrist and they both loved it. We stayed at the hospital for a while before going and getting my niece and nephews.
