Everything had happened so fast. One day I was a normal, happy, teenage girl and the next my name wasn't even Grace. Tonight was the night I'd been dreading for two months now, but it was necessary. I grabbed my suitcases, kissed my parents goodbye, and walked out of my life in Holmes Chapel. I tried not to look back, I tried to be strong, but as we passed his house I couldn't hold it back anymore.

There was no light on in his bedroom which meant he was asleep, peacefully dreaming. I began to cry quietly in the back of the SUV as I thought of him. I cried because there was so much I never said, so much he would never know. He would wake up in the morning and everything would be different, everything will have changed and he would never know why.....
