A life of Payne
The loud music played from my iPod as I hovered over Ashley.
Our lips connected and half our clothes gone.
I had to stop this soon but it was so hard to do so. It may have been a self imposed sex ban but I still take it very seriously, I want us to be strong and in love before we do this.
"Ashley slow down, you know I can't do what you want me too." She groaned in frustration before pushing me off her and standing to retrieve her shirt.
"You always fucking do this Harry! Why start what you can't finish?!" She didn't even turn to look at me as she talked.
Great now she's mad at me.
"Ash I'm doing this for us! I want us to be strong together and have an emotional connection first!"
She scoffed at my words and went to walk over to the bedroom door but I quickly jumped off of the bed and ran over to her, I gently grabbed her wrist and spun her around to face me.
"I want us to be strong Ashley. Don't you want us to be able to last forever? What if this changes us?" Her eyes softened as she took in my words.
"You don't know it will change things unless we try Harry." She whispered and placed one of her hands on my cheek, I leaned into her touch and paused to find a way of explaining this so she would understand.
"Don't you want us to be on an emotional level first? Take Katie and Calum for example, those two are head over heals for each other and yet they've never slept together. Why should we rush things when they haven't."
She went silent and looked away from me, she took a few steps back and cleared her throat awkwardly.
"Ash what do you know that I don't."
"Well um I know that Katie and Calum aren't taking it as slow as you think."
Oh. My. God!!!
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" I stepped closer to her as I waited for her to reply.
"Yes. Katie slept with Calum. About two weeks ago." She nodded as she talked and I still couldn't seem to wrap my head around this.
"I never really thought of Katie as someone that would do that. Does Liam know?"
"NO! He doesn't know Harry and he can't know either! Can you imagine how hard it is to leave someone after they been together for a whole month? If Liam found out he would just make it harder for her."
She has a point there. I've never kept anything from Liam, well except when I had a crush on Katie when we first met her. I never told Liam that because I wanted to actually continue breathing.
"Wow." Was all I seemed to be able to say.
"While we're on this subject, I need you to promise me you'll watch out for Katie while she's on tour with you. I can't come because of my classes and I know you're upset about that but please just take Katie under your wing or something. Just don't let her do anything she will regret, that's my best friend."
"I promise babe."
“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”
I wiped my tears away as I watched the ending of this stupid movie.
Even the freaking Grinch made me cry and the whole reason I watched it was to try and cheer myself up, don't ask me why I chose a Christmas movie in the middle of the year because I really have no reasoning behind it.
"Are you alright love?" The guy the works on the plane asked me. He spent every minute he could spare talking to me because someone who I'm guessing to be Calum warned him that I was a nervous flyer.
"I'm fine. But every single movie seems to have some hidden sad meaning to it lately." I laughed slightly and all of the sudden the man smiled brightly at me.
"Miss Payne you just survived the landing and barely even noticed." Oh crap I am really clueless if I didn't notice the plane landing.
"Thank you." I smiled as he walked off and I began to grab my things and make sure I didn't leave anything behind.
I walked off of the plane and into the busy London air port just to be greeted by countless flashes and screaming. Damn I didn't miss this one bit.
"Katie where have you been?"
"Did you and your brother have a fight?"
"Did you run away?"
Holey shit don't these people have anything better to do with their lives?
"Give the girl some space!" Someone shouted over everyone else making me turn to see paul and all the boys, well except Harry who is probably busy spending time with Ashley before the tour starts.
"Liam!" I couldn't help but be happy to see him, I ran over to him and was pulled into his arms straight away.
Shit I missed my brother way more then I thought I would.
"God I missed you baby girl." He mumbled, Is it wrong that I just imagined Calum saying that and not Liam? Of course it's wrong but I couldn't help it!
"Liam I just survived a whole month without you! I don't think you should be allowed to call me that any more." He rolled his eyes before taking my luggage out of my hand.
"Katie I am the oldest sibling, making you the baby sibling. You will always be the baby of the family so I'm always going to call you that." I just laughed at his reasoning before turning to everyone else.
"I missed you guys too." I said but couldn't deny that I was looking at Niall as I talked.
He opened his arms like he was asking for a hug so I walked over and into his arms.
"GROUP HUG!" Louis cheered as everyone else joined in on our hug.
Way to ruin the moment.
I guess I should be thankful, I don't want to be around Niall too much and forget everything that just happened with Calum so in the long run I will be thankful of Louis' irritating actions.
"C'mon Katie. We have to get you home to re-pack because we leave tonight."
Well that was fast.
"Okay." I nodded and made my way out of the air port while holding onto Liam's hand.
It's good to back back in a place that rains all the time and has paparazzi everywhere you look... Not.
Once we were outside it became easier to breath and I took the chance to stretch and feel the wind blow through my curly hair.
"Everybody in the van." Paul shouted while stuffing my suitcase into the boot.
By the time all the boys got in, the only seat left was next to Niall.
Liam looked at me smugly and I knew that they had done that on purpose.
"So how was the tour? What did you like better, America or Australia?" Zayn asked me once we were all seated.
I smiled as I remembered what had happened between Calum and I in New York.
"Definitely America. But nothing beats being back in London with my brothers." I smiled and tried not to jump when I felt Niall lace his fingers with mine.
As of now all these boys are brothers to me, except maybe not Niall.
Because you shouldn't have feelings for a brother the way I do for him.
What a weird mood swing of a chapter!
Anyway I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I take forever to update this story these days but it's just kinda hard lately.
As most of you would know I just finished a five year relationship AND moved away from my family for uni. A lot of this stories plot line is about family and love.
The two things I don't have any more so yeah...
But lets not dwell on the past and all go and vote for this story on the fanfiction awards because lets face it, Sophia in this story is totally the best villain ever!
I've never been in the awards before so it would actually mean a lot to me if you did vote! <3
Anyway make sure to vote and comment!!! I need to know what you guys thought of this chapter, it's hard to know if I'm going in the right way or not if you don't tell me what you think!
Thank you xo
