London POV
I stepped off the plane into the cool London air. It was good to be home. I walked down the steps and into the awaiting limo. As we pulled away I slouched back into the seat. 9 months of touring isn't easy. I was looking forward to seeing Skylar and Alice again. I had missed so much of Alice's life. I wanted to be there for the both of them but my career got in the way. I had always felt the need to protect Skylar she gets hurt too easily and mom and dad hadn't taken the news she was pregnant too well. The limo slipped out of the gates and into the streets. There were fans all along the borders yelling, screaming and holding up signs. I was never going to get used to this. I tapped the driver on the shoulder.
"Could you take me to Paradise café. Well around the corner from Paradise café at least. "
"Are you sure miss Stone?"
"I'm sure."
I sat back against the seat and looked out the window. Finally I see the limo pull up across the street from the café and stop.
"No please pull up around the corner. I'm trying to surprise someone."
The driver pulls ahead and around the corner and I get out. I quickly pull a beanie over my head and slip my sunglasses on. Clique I know but it normally works. I walk quickly towards the café entering I hear the chime go off. I don't see Skyler but I see the boys from one direction. What are they doing here? I quickly run up to Harry and cover his eyes.
"Guess who?" I do in a weird voice.
"Ummm.......I would have a clue except that your wearing the same perfume London."
I pull my hands from his eyes and give him the pout.
"I always wear the same perfume."
Harry laughs and I give him a hug. I had met one direction at a music awards and had hit it off with them. Apparently my manager had been trying to set me up for a publicity stunt with Harry but that would be too weird.
"When did you get back from tour?"
I check my phone.
"An hour and a half ago. What are you guys doing here?"
"Were just getting something to drink what are you doing here?"
"My sister works here I came to say hello."
"Your sister works here?" Harry says unbelievingly.
"Yep you guys want to meet her?"
They all nod their heads.
"I'll just go find her."
I walked towards the back of the shop. Maddy sees me and her eyes get wide. I quickly put my finger to my lips to tell her to be quiet. She gives me a knowing look so I give her a questioning one to ask where Skyler is. She nods her head towards the back room. I quietly slip in the door. Entering the storage room I can hear Skyler humming the tune to little things. I peek around the corner and see her in one of the aisles. I jump out and start to sing.
"Cause I'm in love with you and all these little things."
Skyler jumps at least 2 inches off the ground and looks up.
"London! You scared me half to death. I thought you didn't get back till next week?"
"Change of plans. I had to cancel a couple of shows cause weather conditions made it so we couldn't get there. So I'm back early."
Skyler looks at me hardly believing it.
"Don't I get a hug? I've been gone for 9 months."
Skyler comes and gives me a hug.
"I missed you London."
"I missed you too where's Alice?"
"Somewhere, I know I'm a bad mother but I'm sure she wont do anything too bad."
"Your not a bad mother and come on there's some friends I want you too meet."
I grab her arm and pull her to where everyone but Niall was waiting.
"Hey guys this is my sister Skyler."
The boys called out their hellos.
"Skyler this is Zayn, Liam, Louis and Harry. Guys where's Niall."
Liam nods towards the bathroom door where Niall is just exiting. He walks over to us.
"Niall this is....."
"Skyler." Niall interrupts.
"Yeah my sister."
I say confused before remembering that they used to date.
"So Skyler hows life been?" Niall says going in to give her a hug.
Skylar freezes when Niall touches her and doesn't return the hug.
"Well Harry when are you guys going back out on the road?"
"Ummm... we don't know. We should find out soon as well as who were touring with."
I nod my head. we continue to make small talk till I see this small child come running up to us with a cookie in her hand.
"Mummy, mummy look what mr. John let me make." she says running up to Skyler.
Skyler bends down and looks at the cookie praising it. The boys looked shocked. I come up to her. Bending down I look at the little girl.
"Hi Alice its Aunt London do you remember me."
The little girl looks at me confused. I know exactly what to do to get her to recognize me. I start to sing.
"Young girl, don't cry
I'll be right here when your world starts to fall
Young girl, it's all right
Your tears will dry, you'll soon be free to fly"
Recognition crosses Alice's face and she throws her arms around my neck.
"I missed you Aunty London."
"I missed you too Alice."
I look up at the boys and their completely confused.
"Boys this is Alice, Skyler's daughter. Alice this is...."
"One Direction!" she shrieks.
She runs right up to Niall and throws her arms around his legs. When he bends down she whispers loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Your my favorite but shhhh don't tell the others."
Niall laughs "I think we need to work on your whisper little lady."
Alice put her hands behind her back and twists back and forth looking innocent. We all start laughing except for Skyler who looks nervous. It's expected though running into your ex. Imagine if she ever ran into Alice's father. I look at the others.
"Well I probably should be going. I have a lot of sleep to catch up on." I say with a smile.
I give Harry a hug and go up to Skyler.
"Come by soon we need to catch up." I say giving her a hug. Skyler nods.
I kneel down next to Alice.
"It was good to see you sweetie."
Alice throws her arms around my neck.
"When will I see you next aunt London?"
"Soon Alice soon."
I stand up and go towards the door. Turning back around I wave my fingers at everyone in a good-bye. I walk out into the crisp London air. It was good to be home.
