(Selena's pov)

"Mom I'm ready. The car is waiting outside," I tell her. She comes and hugs me.
"You look beautiful hunny. Have a good time,"she tells me. I say thank you and head out.

40 minutes later

My car gets to the red carpet and a security guard opens the door. I step out and immediately lock eyes with Harry. I quickly look away. I walk down the red carpet and take pictures. "Selena this way," a photographer yells. I hate when they yell at me. I finally finish the red carpet and interview and head inside. One Direction is opening the show. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2...1! They start making their way to the stage while singing.

Maybe it's the way she walks. Ow! Straight into my heart and stole it. Through the gates and past the guards. Ow! Just like she already owned it.

Harry started the song looking straight into my eyes while singing. I wanted to break eye contact, but I just couldn't. The performance finished and I could feel Taylor's eyes burning on me. I ignored it. The host was talking and then the first award was going to be given. One Direction are welcomed to the stage.
"What's up Brooklyn," Niall yells twice. "We are so excited to be here tonight at the Vmas in Brooklyn baby," he continues. Then Harry starts.
"We may be from England, but tonight's Vmas is about the world coming together and celebrating Brooklyn, New York."
I don't know if I can do this.
"Now we'll see if it's true what they say. The best fans are in New York," Zayn says.
"We were lucky enough to win 3 Vmas last year and there's nothing like holding that moonman. So we're excited to give out the first award tonight," Louis tells the audience. Omg! I just realized I'm up for this award. Liam pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Here are the nominees for best pop video," he says. The video clip rolls. It shows snip bits of Bruno, Miley, Justin Timberlake, then me, and then Fun. The clip finishes. Harry starts to speak.
"And the Vmas for best pop video goes to," Harry says while looking me in the eyes. I feel so nervous I could throw up. Louis undoes the envelope. The boys take a peek. Harry's face holds a smirk he is trying to hold in.
"Selena Gomez," Louis yells. I'm shocked.
"Come and get it," Harry and the rest of the boys yell. I hug Taylor and begin to get up. When I get on the stage I grab the microphone from Louis and hug him. I didn't want to, but obviously the cameras are rolling. I kiss Zayn and Liam on the cheek. Harry is next. I feel nausea growing in my stomach. I walk to him. He tells me hi and we kiss each other on the cheek. When we touched I didn't want to let go but I had to. I go to Niall and give him a kiss on the cheek. Zayn hands me my moonman.
"Oh my god. This is heavy. Oh my goodness. This is my first moonman. Thank you so much! This has been suck a good year for me and I wouldn't have done it without you guys so thank you so much. This is so cool! Thank you! I love you guys. Take care," I say and turn around.
"well done babe," Liam tells me. I smile and we walk backstage. I say a little more to my fans backstage. That I love then and a few more thank yous. Right when I thought I was going to be lead to my seat, the security guard leads me to One Directions dressing g room.
"Why am I here," I ask the bodyguard.
"Mr.Styles said to bring you here," he says with a smile and knocks on the door. Harry opens.
