Firstly, sorry for leaving you all alone without explanations at the cafe the other day. I was shocked and not ready. I'm very sorry. I am also sorry for not returning any of your calls and texts. Dylan, I have no idea what am I thinking about at the moment. I am confused. During my first day at Hamilton, I saw this one guy next to my locker, I know I'd like to know more about him. Then, I found out that I am in the same class as him. Isn't that the coolest thing ever?
Both of us became best friends. But not more than that. I like him. But when I found out that my closest friend, which is my own best friend, likes him too, I don't know how to respond. Everytime we meet each other, she'll be talking about that guy. She'll call me every night, talking and ranting on about the guy that I also have a crush on. You have no idea how awkward, hurtful and intense it was.
Dylan, I really like you. I really do. But things has unexpectedly happened. Its very hard to decide right now. I am stucked. I've been into this situation once, and I've also left a guy, without explanation just like what I did to you before I moved to LA. I don't want to hurt anyone. I know I can't escape anything as long as I am still alive. I don't want the same thing to happen again. I feel bad for leaving two guys without them knowing the reason why.
But I hope, through this letter, you'll at least understand why. Look, my best friend likes you. Gabriella. She really likes you. I can't hurt her. She's my bloody best friend. She's been hoping for you to ask her to be her date for the prom. Take care of her, love her, for me... That's all. Please understand my situation right now. Don't look for me. If you really need to see me for explanation, I will be back soon. I just need some time. I can't love anyone at this moment and not even you.
