Until the Last Autumn Leaf Falls
Chapter 8
KELLEY'S POV ---
after Harry walked away I finished up with shooting the ball soon after. I grabbed my ball and walked towards my flat. Well not my flat, Mathew's flat.
I opened the unlocked door and let my ball bounce to the ground. I slipped off my cleats and walked upstairs.
I wanted to take a shower because I smelled like chlorine and sweat. I wanted to pick out my outfit before I got in the shower. I walked over to my dresser and looked around. I realized I didn't know what I was supposed to wear. I pulled out a pair of khaki skinny jeans, a navy blue top and my black toms. I layed them out on my bed. I also pulled out a pair of black sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt with black uggs.
I walked away from the bed of clothes and walked into the shower. I turned on the water and let it heat up as I thought about my outfit choice. Fern would know what to wear. I was also really scared they wouldn't like me if they got to know me.
I clear my head as I took a quick hot shower. I stepped out and towel dried my hair. I put on some mascara, and a light almost skin color eyeshadow. Keeping if light because I didn't know what I was going to wear yet.
I walked out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around me. I looked at my outfit choices.
I thought about it. It's only pizza. I pulled on some underwear and a sport bra. Then I slipped on my black sweatpants, a pink t-shirt, and my gray sweatshirt. I put on my black Nike socks and slipped on my uggs. I layed on my bed and put in my headphones listening to music.
I sat around for a little. Just long enough for my hair to air dry. I checked my phone and it was 4. I brushed back my hair taking my time. I French braided it. And then tied it at the bottom.
I went downstairs and checked the time. It was only 4:15. And with every second passing I became more nervous. This is something I always did. I made plans but never wanted to follow them through. It was a bad habit of mine all throughout school.
I put my head phones in again. I put on Real Life by Alonestar featuring Ed Sheeran and Ja Ja Soze. I just listened to the music and say back. I started getting sleepy. I set an alarm on my phone for 4:55. Then I let myself fall asleep to the music.

I heard the alarm going off in my ears. I opened my eyes and felt more tired than before.
I got up and made sure everything was off. I grabbed a key making sure to lock it as I left. I breathed in. The night air was brisk and it woke me up a little. I started walking over and I entered their building. I climbed up to the third floor. I breathed in and knocked on the door really just wanting to go home. I saw the doorknob turn. I guess there was no turning back...
