Falling Over Me
I've always had a song in my head. I think I was born that way, with a tune twisting it's melodies in my mind, influencing my every act. I skipped crawling and went straight to walking, taking my first steps to the twinkling notes of the Nutcracker Ballet. My first word was "again"; I wasn't ready to stop listening to Madonna's "Frozen" yet. When I was in preschool my favorite song was "Amazing Grace", and I sang every verse. I lost my first tooth while singing "You are my Sunshine" to my kindergarten class for show and tell, and for the talent show in fifth grade I belted a Cheetah Girls song, losing a shoe at one point because I was so into the performance. Every second of every day has been spent with a song in my heart, with lyrics in my head, humming and smiling and living to the tempo of the music.
Then one middle school day, I saw him. Beautiful and funny and with the most dazzling, bright smile. He just seemed so open and kind, and the butterflies in my stomach had a fluttery fit when he brushed past me on the way to his locker. Instantly a new set of lyrics came into my mind.
"Maybe tonight we can forget about it all. It could be just like heaven..."
I nearly gasped out loud, surprised by my thoughts. Ashamed by my reaction to his gorgeousness, I physically shook myself and started humming "Jesus Loves Me" as quickly as I could. But the image of him, along with those lyrics, was burned in the back of my mind all day. In those two seconds I saw him, he managed to put some kind of hold over me. It's been three years now, and the fantasy never went away....

Hello, Lovies!
I'm back! ...Ish. This is a preview of what's to come, since I can't focus on anything other than school until the new semester begins Jan 21. It's a little while to wait, but I've been holding this story in for a month now, and I just had to set it free!
This story is based on an idea for a music video I had years ago. There's going to be a lot more expansion and depth in the story, of course, so I'm really excited! Once the next semester starts, I'll be able to update pretty regularly, so don't go away! If you like what you read, there will be more. ...If you DON'T like what you read...tell me! I would love to receive comments and messages with ideas and constructive criticisms. I always want my stories to get better, so send in your input!
Well, I've been away from my studies for WAY too long, so I have to go; but I'll see you all again soon!
