Wyatt’s P.O.V
She’s been crying for hours, not an ounce of sleep has been achieved by either of us. We’ve had no food in days, I can see the ridged edges of Nina’s bones push through her skin. I look down, examining the wounds I just disinfected a few hours ago, they seem to be the same if not worse.
“I’m so-sorry Wyatt” She breathes slowly
“For what? We’re going to live Nina don’t start talking like that” I choke back my oncoming tears.
Her eyes roll into the back of her head, I quickly shake her shoulders back and forth “Nina, stay with me” It’s impossible to hide the panic in my voice.
She takes a sharp breath and opens her big brown eyes
“I’m trying…” Her eyes close “But it’s pulling me in”
“No don’t let it, think about Harry and Tia and think about me for god sakes!” I find myself shouting, shouting to get her to try to live.
“Finding out I have a sister was the best thing that happened to me” I whisper, it’s true. When I found out about Nina I was nothing but ecstatic and I cant have her leave my life when she just got here. She grabs my hand and holds it close to her as if a means of security.
“I’m not going to let anything else happen to you, I promise Nina I’m going to protect you”
She doesn’t say anything but I can see her chest raise up and down which gives me peace of mind.
Harry’s P.O.V
“Louis they found her we’re going to get her” I announce, the other end goes wild with a mixture of tears and cheers.
“The media is going crazy, Nina and Wyatt are all over the tabloids and it seems everyone is looking for them” Louis diverges, it makes me feel like the world cares about Nina almost as much as I do.
“Simon says take all the time we need but not to forget about our fans and concerts” He says with less enthusiasm
“I hope she’s okay Lou” I whisper
“She will be, it will all be okay” His voice is serious and I can tell he’s trying to be comforting.
“I’ll call you when I know more” I say once Jerry gives me a look
“Alright mate, call us, don’t forget” He hangs up the phone
“So Nina, is she the one?” Jerry asks while driving
“I’m sure of it” I say without hesitation
“It’s her birthday next week” I think aloud
“I can tell you love her” He smiles
“How?”
“The look on your face every time someone talks about her, even though its dark the current situations, the look never changes. It’s the same look I give my wife and I love my wife to pieces” He makes a left, I smirk.
“I don’t know where I’d be without Nina, she’s kept me grounded and everything just seems right when I’m with her” I simper at the thought of her and then frown when I think about her being alone, cold, scared and possibly hurt.
“We’re going to do everything we can to get her back to you” He turns the car again and I see the harbor appearing in front of us.
“Thank you, for everything” A fake smile draws it’s way across my face, a real one will only be produced when I have Nina back in my arms.
Wyatt’s P.O.V
It’s quiet, too quiet. It’s dark out, and the room has dropped in temperature my skin quivers at the cold, I need to get something to warm up Nina.
“Nina” I say hastily
no response
I start to worry, I look down at her, she’s breathing thank god.
She looks peaceful when she sleeps, no doubt she’s probably freezing laying on the cold floor. I remove my shirt and look down at all my bruises and cuts. They don’t hurt as much as they use to, Dominic and Antonio aren’t hurting me anymore so I’m starting to heal. Or maybe they don’t hurt because I’m so focused on keeping Nina alive.
I lay the shirt over her and thankfully her petite frame fits well under it, almost like a blanket. I feel the cold hit my chest. Only a few more hours till daylight and the warmth will return. I swallow and instantly pain hits my throat. I’m hungry, Nina is too I can tell. I try not to think about it, being hungry or how our bodies have lasted this long without food. Dominic throws in a bottle of water every few hours, I give most of it to Nina. If she wasn’t so injured I know she’d object and make me have it, but she’s so out of it she doesn’t even realize I’m giving it all to her. It works in my favor.
I hear footsteps slowly getting closer and closer, no… she can’t take anymore. I adjust myself right in front of her, I may not be completely better but I could put up a decent fight.
Edward and Dominic appear in the doorway.
“She can’t take anymore she’ll die” I yell
“Relax, pick her up and follow us” Dominic steps out of the room, Edward staying fixed in his spot.
I look down at sleeping Nina, I don’t want to wake her up she hasn’t gotten any sleep in days. Slowly I place my hands under her
“Hurry up” Edward kicks my back, I’m tempted to turn around and hit him but then I remember the sleeping girl halfway in my arms.
She whimpers when I lift her upwards. It probably hurts like crazy. She clenches her eyes shut so hard they turn into wrinkles. I hold her close trying to minimize the amount of pain this is causing her.
“Lets go” Edward shouts and Nina wakes up, her one eye opening slowly, then followed by the other. She looks up at me but doesn’t ask questions.
We follow Edward and Dominic through hallways and then up three flights of stairs. We appear on the deck of the boat, it’s cold and the boat moves from side to side violently in the night waves. It’s dark the deck is only laminated by a few lamps.
“Hello Nina, you’re looking great” Antonio laughs, I see a tear roll down Nina’s eye and down her cheek.
“Stand her up please” He demands, anger boils through me.
“She can’t stand up”
Laughter fills the deck as my mouth firms into a straight line.
“Well sit her down” He points to the two chairs placed in front of a table, a gun sits on the edge of the table.
“I’d rather not” I pronounce hard, I see Edward making his way over until Antonio shoes him away.
“They’ve found us boys” He speaks with a hint of anger
“What do you mean” Dominic inquires
“An inside source I have on land says the local police, national security, and FBI are on the hunt for us, and according to my source a phone call was made earlier yesterday that gave them the location of our whereabouts” He speaks non chelontly but I can tell he has a back up plan.
A boat motor sound appears in the distance.
“Now before I leave with my men, we need that girls signature” His voice turns into pure horror. I tighten my grip against Nina her eyes shoot open.
“Get her” He orders, two men appear at my side trying to pry my arms apart while Edward stands in front of me.
I struggle at first “No don’t touch her” I try to back up but the two men at my sides pry my arms apart, “NO!” I yell as Nina hits the floor hard. Her scream pierces everyone’s ears.
Edward drags her to the chair and slams her into it as the men barley contain me.
“Bring him over here and tie him up” He snaps and I’m moved to a post where they viciously tie my hands behind my back. “Please don’t do this” I plead, it’s no use.
“I’m giving you an ultimatum” He speaks to Nina who can barely keep her self sitting upright, I try to push myself out of the bindings but I cant and my arms start to hurt.
Antonio picks up the handgun on the table and looks from me to Nina, my body starts to sweat and Nina’s eyes are as wide as a deer in headlights.
“You can sign” He starts and slowly walks towards me “Or I shoot his brains all over this deck” He lifts the gun and presses it against my temple. I hold my breath.
Nina’s P.O.V
No! I scream on the inside, and my body, does everything else but cooperate,
I cant move
I cant talk
I’m basically already dead
“No” I squeak out as a breath
“Sign and nobody dies” Antonio lies to my dying face
“You’re going to kill us anyways, shoot him and you- you’ll never get a signature out of me” It takes me 5 minutes to say the sentence, Wyatt stares at me, I can tell he’s telling me to hold off and that help is coming.
“Sign the fucking paper” He spits
Harry’s P.O.V
“We need to move fast” Jerry and I rush along with 20 other people onto the edge of the harbor.
“We can’t get there fast enough with a boat and it’s dark so we’re taking the helicopter” He speaks to the man on his left.
“Harry stay here” He holds his hand up
My body freezes “No! are you joking? There’s no way in hell I’m staying here” I almost yell, I can feel myself getting angry, I’m so close to having Nina back.
“We can’t risk it Harry!” He shouts loudly as the helicopter lands on the end of the dock.
“I’m coming” I state he glares at me “Please” I add, my eyes getting glossy.
He closes his eyes then sigh, “Fine, lets go”
We rush into the copter, I listen to the instructions given by Jerry, he also throws a bulletproof jacket over to me so I now look like I’m part of the swat team.
“Harry” He speaks firmly “You do not leave the copter until I say you may do so” I nod and he then moves his attention over to the rest of the group.
Wyatt’s P.O.V (two hours later)
It’s been two hours and this guy still has the gun firmly planted to my skull, Nina’s in complete tears and is unable to make a sentence.
“Don’t sign!” I yell and the end of the gun thrashes against my head. I wince in pain.
I hear the sound of a helicopter from a distance and I feel relieved
“Fuck!” Antonio shouts and runs up to Nina, he smashes her in the side of the head with the back of the gun “Sign you dumb bitch” He hits her again
I go livid “STOP” I try to pry open the ropes from behind me but it doesn’t work, everyone is in a panic, Dominic is in shambles pacing back and forth saying this is a bad idea
“We need to leave we need to go NOW” Dominic yells and grabs Antonio’s arm, Antonio turns and stares him dead in the face
“Do you actually think I was going to share the profits with you?” He laughs loudly and the rest of the boys except Dominic join in
Dom steps back, Antonio follows. “I was just using you to get them” He points to Nina and myself.
“I-I thought we had a deal” Dominic sneers
“Well deals change” He places the gun in the center of Dominic’s head and pulls the trigger, the body falls back onto the floor, blood splatters everywhere, all over the floor all over Antonio all over Nina.
“Who’s next?” He shouts
Nina screams, a blood curtailing scream. All attention goes to her.
“Kill them” Antonio orders, my struggle for the past two hours has loosened the ropes, I slip them off my hands and lunge at Antonio, he’s taken by surprise. He staggers backwards and then falls on top of me, the other men instantly charge at us prying us apart.
“You think this is a fucking game!” He screams before punching me multiple times in the face and stomach, blood protrudes from my pours, after about 10 minutes the men drop me on to the floor in front of Nina.
Her eyes say everything she cant.
“Well now Nina it’s time to watch your brother die” I close my eyes waiting for impact, Nina’s small quiet voice says no. The helicopter is closer, I can hear it.
I hear a large thud I open my eyes for a spit second and something has blocked my view, the trigger is pulled
The gun has fired
The shot goes off
“Fuck!” Antonio yells so loud I feel myself vibrate.
I look down to see Nina, curled up on the floor in front of me clenching her stomach, blood pouring onto the floor.
“Boss the copter!” One of the men yells I see a black helicopter approach us

“Nina you’re so stupid why did you do that” I grab her face as tears stream down my cheeks
“We have to go!” The men pull at Antonio, he stares at us before retreating off the boat, getting away on a speedboat.
“Nina stay with me please” I shake her shoulders as her eyes roll into the back of her head
“Nina!” I scream through oncoming tears
“Nina look help is coming we’re going to make it please stay with me”
She struggles to keep her eyes open, her breathing has become more uneven, I push my hand on the bullet wound to help the bleeding stop, she screams as soon as I touch it.
“Stay with me please” I beg
