Sadness
It’s the night before I leave for California, and the night before the tour starts. So we’re going to go get drunk… great logic. Harry hasn’t wanted to talk about the fact I won’t see him for almost a month I know he’s scared, and I know he doesn’t want me to go.
Dani, El and Tia barge into the room. “Ready to go?” Tia asks me. Tia and are growing apart, it’s sad to say but I can’t hide from it any longer.

I shrug. I want to apologize for not being so talkative but the words aren’t coming to mind. Frankly going to a club on my last night isn’t want I want to be doing. We see the boys standing in the kitchen. Each girl goes to her boyfriend.
“Nina, looking stunning as always” Louis compliments me before grabbing hold of El.
I give him a small smile. I notice Harry is dressed more fancier than the others. Wearing all black and with a cream brown colored trench coat.
“You look amazing” He brings me close to him and whispers in my ear.
“You might be a little cold though” He looks me up and down.
“Why? Were just going to the club and home” My tone is dull and dead, like I haven’t been living. I can’t help it; I’m not ready to leave Harry for a month.
He smiles mischievously “Come” he extends his arm and I take his hand.
He leads me downstairs. Where are we going…? I look outside and see a horse with a carriage behind it. My stomach flips; Harry got us a horse drawn carriage… I look up at him; he’s beaming with joy.
“Harry!” I say shocked my cheeks turn red.
“Nina” He copies my tone. I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck. He bends and snakes his arms around my waist.
“I love you so much” I whisper and I feel tears pushing through the back of my eyes.
His face turns into concern “Please no tears. I won’t be able to handle it if you start crying love” He pushes his forehead against mine. I steady my breath and he connects his lips with mine. I take advantage of this, I wont be able to do it for a while.
“Let’s go,” I whispers and I nod. He helps me up onto the carriage. I should have listened to him when he said I’d be cold. He steps up himself and sits beside me. I lean into him and he without hesitation puts his arm around me. The carriage starts moving.
“Are you cold?” He rubs his hand along my thigh I shake my head
“I’m alright, why don’t you want to talk about tomorrow?” I stare at him, green eyes against brown. He looks panicked.
“I don’t know… we’ve been apart before” He looks at his feet.
“Never this long though” He adds sadly.
“We’re going to be okay” I place my cold hand on his cheek.
“You and I are going to be fine” I say stronger than I think it.
“I’m scared something bad is going to happen to you” He sniffles.
“Like what baby? I’m with Wyatt, nothing bad is going to happen to me” I try to hide the pain in my voice. I don’t want leaving tomorrow to be hard cause I wont be able to go through with it.
“What if you forget about me? Find another guy,” He sounds exasperated, voice so full of hurt and worry that it kills me. His eyes are glossy I frown.
“That could never ever happen Harry, why would you even say that. Do you know how much I love you?” My voice cracks. I’m a little angry he’d say something like that but truth is I’m scared that he’ll find another girl.
“I’m more worried that you’ll find someone, someone that understands your life style and you more than I ever can. I don’t understand any of the band stuff or the media. Your management I don’t have any idea what they even do.” He stares at me intensely, studying every word that comes out of my mouth.
“Do you have any idea how much you mean to me?” He states simply but assertively.
“I haven’t thought about another girl since I met you, you’re it for me Nina. You’re the one I’ve been looking for there’s no more searching because what I’ve been looking for is right in front of me” He takes a deep breath
“I fell in love with you and I fall more in love with you every single day when I wake up and see you beside me, when I fall asleep with you in my arms, when I kiss you, when you smile. I’d do anything to make you happy. You’re the one I’m going to be with the rest of my life” He whispers the last sentence and I’m in complete trance. Once again he’s left me speechless.

“We’re hear” The man in front of us announces.
“Thanks Taylor” Harry clears his throat and says loudly.
He hops off first and then helps me down by holding onto my waist.
“Our dates never work out, we always end up fighting or something bad happens so tonight we’re going to try something different” He grabs something from under the seat of the carriage.
“I knew you were going to be cold” He hands me my winter jacket and I cant be more thankful. I toss it on and find my gloves and a hat in the pocket.
“Thank you” I rub my hands together before intertwining one with his. I notice a few paps around but they’re keeping their distance so they really aren’t a bother.
We start walking and I notice we’re in a park. It’s lit up completely with lights and there isn’t anyone in it but us. It reminds me of our first date when he rented out a section of central park.
As we get further into the park I notice little booths set up like an arcade.
“Harry!” I announce with excitement. We arrive to a game where you had to hit three bottles down with a ball to win a prize the man briefly explains the rules and hands Harry and I three balls.
“I’m going to win” I tease Harry
“If you lose I get a kiss” He winks at me
“Deal, If you lose you have to sleep on the couch tonight” Harry’s jaw drops, I laugh uncontrollably.
“Well shit I better not lose then”
I throw the first ball and realize that the bottles are pure metal, which is heavier than it looks. I throw the second ball and manage to knock of the top bottle. Harry shoots his second ball and they all come crashing down. He looks hot playing games. The bell goes off declaring Harry the winner.
I pout playfully; the man hands Harry a large stuffed elephant. He grabs my waist pulling me close and hands me the elephant.
“For you my love” He smiles big revealing his dimples.
“Why thank you kind sir,” I giggle
“Now, where’s my kiss?” He presents his cheek to me and as I’m about to kiss it he turns his head so his lips land on mine. I smile mid kiss and he pulls away.
“You’re clever” We walk hand in hand down the pathway. My left hand attached to Harry’s right and my right hand clutching the rather large elephant he’s won for me. We arrive at a picnic table where there is an older women with a cart of hot chocolate.
I sit down as Harry gets us two. Heels weren’t a good idea, I wish he would of told me where we were going I would of dressed more appropriately.
He sets the steaming mug in front of me. “You’re birthday is coming up” He looks at me while I take a small sip of the chocolaty drink.
“Is it?” I cock my head to one side. I’ve never been keen on birthdays; I don’t like being the center of attention.
“Yes it is, what do you want to do?” He asks
I shrug “ I don’t exactly have a family to celebrate it with”
He narrows his yes “Yes you do, you have me and Tia and the lads. You have El and Dani and you can’t forget about Wyatt and his family, they’re your family too oh and baby Ella”
