Breathe
Only Exception
I yawn as I place two tea bags into two cups; 7:30am is too early for me. I stretch, arching my back like a cat and once again a yawn rises through me.
“Good morning beautiful” I hear a quiet Irish voice. I close my eyes and take a deep breath
“ Morning Niall”
“ What times your flight?” He takes three steps closer to me. Crossing his arms over each other.
“ At 9” I frown
“ Who’s driving you?” He asks curiously I gulp
“ I am lad” Harry emerges from his spectators place in the doorway. I turn and give him a small uncomfortable smile. He strides across the floor and engulfs me in an embrace. I giggle as his warm lips skim across my neck.
“Well I’ll let you two be” Niall speaks awkwardly and retreats to the living room.
“ Thanks mate” Harry yells as Niall turns on the TV. I flinch at the loudness of his voice and he looks down at me concern creased in his eyebrows.
“ Let’s get dressed love” He plants a small kiss on my forehead and it lingers for a couple seconds.
I rummage through my bag and grab http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=78715218 before zipping it up one last time. I turn to look at Harry who is patiently waiting by the door for me.
“ You’re so fit” He presses his lips to mine. I smile and we walk out to the living room where everyone has gathered.
“ Nina please don’t go” Dani sniffles through her tears, and I feel water prick my eyes.
“ I’ll be back soon” I wrap my arms around her
“ Call us every day and text us lots okay?” El grabs me and holds me at arms length before hugging me. I nod “ Everyday I promise”
I move along the line of farewells. “ Bye Ninners” Zayn picks me up and spins me around; I smile sadly at his upset face.
“ Don’t be gone too long okay?” Liam frowns at me
“ I’ll be back before you know it” I choke back tears
I reach Louis and I instinctively jump into his arms “Goodbye Nina” he fakes a sobbing sound and El slaps his arm as I smirk at him.
Finally I reach Niall, I look over at Harry before looking at him “ Bye Niall” I look at my fingers. A few seconds of unspoken words come over us. I hear his sharp intake of breath and he opens his mouth to speak, a shutter runs through me as his eyes move along my body.
“Well we better get going” Harry cuts him off and takes hold of my hand.

“ When do I get to see you again” I look over at his impassive face
“ I don’t know” He breathes, “ Soon, I hope” His voice hitches.
I frown as we arrive at the airport.
“ I promised myself I’d never leave you again, I don’t know if I can let you go Nina” He closes his eyes and his face falls into sadness
“ You’re not letting me go, we’ll be together again soon enough” My voice cracks as the first tears fall. His head sweeps up to my puffy eyes.
“ Please don’t cry, I cant bare to see it,” he whispers
I sniffle “ I’m sorry”
He unlocks the doors of the car and we step out. I see a few paparazzi’s by the entrance.
“ Babe” Harry breaks me out of my trance and I intertwine my fingers with his before entering the Airport.
We arrive at my terminal “ I don’t want to go” I rest my head on his chest and breathe in his sent. I feel his arms wrap around me and tighten.
“ I don’t want to let go,” He whispers in my ear and a steady flow of tears produce from my eyes. I suppress a sob.
“ Nina don’t do this to me right now, please stop crying it’s killing me” I step back out of his arms and look up at him, his face is utter sadness, completely broken, his green eyes cloudy.
“Goodbye Harry” My voice cracks and the tears are seemingly worse.
Abruptly he places his hands on the curve of my waist and pulls me foreword. I gasp before he smashes his lips onto mine, tongue invading every aspect of my mouth he kisses me as hard as he can.
“I’ll see you later baby” He plants small pecks on my forehead and nose.
“ I love you so much” His voice breaks and he presses his head against mine.
“ I love you” I whisper and trace my lips against his softly.
“ All flights to JFK New York please report to terminal 3, we are now boarding all rows”
“ I don’t want you to go” He hasn’t let go of me
“ We’ll be together soon again, I promise” I run my hand soothingly along his cheek, he leans into it gently.
“ I love you, just you” I take a step back out of his reach and pick up my bag. He rushes forward and places his mouth on mine one last time.
“ Goodbye babe” He frowns and turns, walking away. I quickly panic and run after him
“ Harry” I say before jumping in his arms.
“I’m going to miss you so much,” I cry into the crook of his neck.
“ Go baby, you’re going to miss your flight, I love you”
I look to see the boarding line getting shorter.
I press my forehead against his, “ Goodbye Mr. Styles” I giggle as his face softens. He releases me from his embrace and I head towards the terminal. I glance back to see Harry standing there watching me.
“ Passport and ticket please” The awfully cheery flight attendant props her hand out. I give her my passport and continue to the plane.
The cabin is hot and full of people; I skim along the aisles of seats for my place. I shimmy my way though an overlarge man and relax into my seat.

I breathe in New York air as I step off the plane, I have missed home allot. I make my way through the airport and arrive at the exit. I scout for my family.
“ TIA” I scream and drop my bag, running into her arms.
“ NINA” Her high-pitched voice makes me flinch. “ I missed you so much”
“ Where are mom and dad?” I let go of her and glance behind.
“ They’re waiting outside, your flight was late”
I pick up my luggage and follow her out.
“ So how’s our favorite boy band?” She teases, I roll my eyes
“ They’re good, it was allot of fun”
“ How’s Harry?”
“ He’s alright, we had a hard goodbye” I swallow the lump forming in my throat.
“ Anything interesting happen?” She raises her eyebrow
“ Niall told me he’s in love with me”
Her mouth drops open “ What did Harry do?!”
“ Nothing, we haven’t really addressed it yet, I mean I told him and he got really fucking mad but I don’t think he’s confronted Niall about it.”
“ What do you want to do tonight?” I question
“ Uhh we’re going out,” She says matter-of-factly and I gawk at her laughing.
“ Nina, welcome back” I hear my mom and I glance nervously at my kind parents.
“ Hi mom, dad” I smile and they engulf me in hugs.
“ We missed you darling” My dad strokes my head before grabbing my bag and putting it in the trunk.

“ So how’s the boy?” My dad speaks as we pull out of the parking lot
“ Harry? He’s good” I frown I miss him already.
“ Nina you have three tryouts this week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all at 4:45” My dad informs me, I nod and take out my phone to enter them in on my reminders. I notice I have a few missed messages.

Most likely going out with Tia, she wants to get drunk.

Please be careful, and safe, don’t drink to much I’m not there to protect you.
I roll my eyes; I know how to handle my liquor.

I put my phone back in my pocket, satisfied with the conversation and we pull up to the apartment. I turn and grin big at Tia; I haven’t been home alone with her in forever.
“ Bye girls! We’ll call you later” Mom blows kiss’s though the car window. I cup my h necklace and close my eyes.
