“Whats this? Human scum?” A voice sneered, sounding close.

I winced, this is what I’ve been afraid of.

Luke growled “Get out of here Human”

Harry shook his head then seemed to gather himself and said angrily “Tell me whats going on!”
Luke let out a hiss of irritation, and he grabbed Harry by the wrists.

“What are you-“ Harry snapped.

Luke looked Harry in the eyes and I grimaced, knowing what was going to happen…But if it saved Harry from Kian then it was worth it.

Luke’s voice became hypnotic and smooth, compelling “You will go back to your parents, you will forget what you saw here today and you will be worried about Gemma but you will know she is safe”

For a moment I watched as Harry’s eyes glazed over and he relaxed, I cringed, I hated vampire hypnotism, I hated how it took the will of a human so easily…

Then for a split second as Luke stepped away, Harry was about to walk of when he winced.
My little brother put his fingers to his head and pressed them to his temple in pain.

He closed his eyes then opened them, my eyes widened and Luke stiffened as Harry’s eyes lost the dreamy look and became more focused and alert.

He stepped backwards and stared at Luke in fright “You-you were controlling me! Stay back!” As Luke tried to step forward.

I said angrily “Your hypnotism didn’t work on him? Why didn’t it work on him?"

Luke retorted “I don’t know!”
