A Change At Heart

2 weeks Later..


"Babe massage my feet," Layla whined. I smiled and patted my thighs for her to place her feet there.

She lifted her feet and placed them on my thighs, I lightly rubbed the arched part of her foot and she moaned. I chuckled and continued what I was doing. I glanced at her and noticed she was focused on her show `How to get away with murder' I sighed at how different things are. I love this girl. But I'm scared the whole Sarah situation will happen again.

"Layla," I whisper and she looks at me.

"Yes?" she asks sitting up. I grab the remote and mute the t.v.

"Do you Love me?" I ask looking down. I know she has told me she loved me but I'm scared.

I feel her remove her feet from my thigh as she sat up and scooted closer to me.

"Harry, look at me baby." She says softly. I look up into her eyes and sigh.

"I love you with all my heart why would you even question that?" She asks slowly.

"I'm just scared."

"Love don't be scared.. don't ever doubt my love for you." she whispers and kisses me.

"Promise me." I say once we pull away.

"Promise you what?." she asks

"Promise me that you will never leave me no matter what, promise me that you will never stop loving me." I say desperately and squeeze her hand.

"Oh my love I don't think that's possible for me to ever stop loving you" she smiles but I keep a serious face.

"Promise me." I say once again.

"I promise." She says and kisses my nose.

We both jump from a sudden knock at the door and I look at Layla.

"Were you expecting someone?" she asks and I shake my head. Just then we hear a knock again but much harder than the last one.

"Who is it?" I ask frustrated with their impatience

"Police Open Up! Now!" They shout.

"Harry?" Layla whispers, panic evident in her eyes.

"Open the door now or we will kick it open!" they shout once again.

I look over at Layla to see that she has tears in her eyes. Just as I was about to say its okay the door burst open...
