The Dragons Echo (Harry Styles Fanfic)

After our second Lesson, Maths, yeah I know what your thinking, its 4010 and Maths is still around? There's no getting rid of that subject no matter how badly you try.

I and Niall went to sit in the cafe to have dinner.

Me and Niall had pack lunch, school dinner hasn't improved either, though the irritating thing was, we're still at school, I mean I and Niall are 19, shouldn't we be at univercity? Or have gotten a job?

Well you see thats one thing thats changed, you have to stay at school for intill your 20, its because as the worlds apparently gotten a much more dangerous place over the years, the goverment made up that law to protect the young adults more and give them more things to learn, so we can defend ourselves and stuff like that.

Its true, I have a defence class, which teaches us fighting and how to defend ourselfs, I'm kind of rubbish though but Nialls awasome at it.

I have a defence class 2morrow in the morning.

"So what do you think?" Niall asked me.

I blincked, realising Niall had been trying to talk to me for the last couple of minutes.

We never used to be this close, It used to be me, Louis and Sometimes Niall but mostly me and Louis, we'd been best friends since I could remember, we'd done everything together.

Bantering.
Going to the dingy cinema.
Daring each other to do stupid stuff.
Watching and laughting at both of our failed attemps to chat up girls.

But as soon as Louis left, I'd been hanging out with Niall more and more, and he was a pretty cool and funny guy when I got to know him more.

He never really talks about his parents though, apparantly his mum split up with his dad but he had no idea why, I herd he found out a week ago where he'd missed a bunch of school days, I'd started to get worrid about him but he turned up eventaully just saying he had issues with his family.

After that he'd never wanted to talk about them, espeacly his dad, he was more quite when he came back and more subued, he may not seem it but trust me, he used to be boucing with energy and never seemed to shut up.

But now his quiter and he always seemed to look uncomfotible whenever I talked about my dislike for Alians, I had no idea why.

"Whats up?" I asked him.

Niall said nerversly "Did you mean about what you said to the teacher in Alien 101?"

I knew he was talking about my hatred for Alians "Yeah, Why?"

Niall said guiltily "Its about that really, um what would you do if I told you I was a-"

"Harry!" A loud girly voice schreeched in my ear.

I winced turning around irritible, already knowing who it was...Sami

She was an irritating girl who wouldn't leave me alone, she was way to clingy.

Niall looked half irritated but half relieved at the interruption.

Sami joked shrilly "Where've you been all these lunch times? It's like you've been hiding from me"

I raised my eyebrows at her and said sarcastically "Imagine that"

Niall snorted into his drink while trying not to laugh.

Sami ignored my sarcasm and said "So what you doing tonight? Harry?"

I lied through my teeth "I'm helping dad out with his Alien hunting"

I felt Niall tense up besides me.

Sami giggled moving closer to me "Really? That is so cool! Let me know how it goes?"
She lowered her voice "you know I find Alien hunting hot right?"

I struggled on how to respond "Um.."

Suddenly the bell rang and I used it as a excuse to get away from her as she called after me I saw Niall smirking looking at me.

"Don't!" I snapped.

Niall laughed as we walked to our next lesson "I haven't said anything"

"You were going to" I said huffy.

As we walked into our class, it was Like biology apart from that fact we got to learn about what goes on in different types of Aliens body's instead of our own, Niall sniggered "True"

The lesson was extremely dull.

You imagine trying to remember different types of Alien names and what every bone In their body is called, there were names I couldn't even say right, let alone spell and remember them.

Though after that lesson I was pretty exited for our next lesson defence, it was like PE apart from the fact you learnt how to defend yourself instead of just doing exercise to keep fit.

I coudn't wait even though I knew I got pretty bad results in defence though I had no idea I'd be showing very different results tomorrow morning...

We walked into our gym, it was time for our defence lesson.

The girls and boys were split up, which was a relief as I swear, I saw Sami eyeing me up from where the girls where.

Notes
