As Fragile as Glass
Chapter 8
Stormy's Outfit
I heard the crowd roar as I have the asshole a right hook that knocked him to the ground. The crowd was already making bets with each other on who would win. Everyone voted for me obviously even though the guy was twice my size and weight. I jumped on top of him and started punching his face. He had it coming. Should have never even messed with me. The champion. The undefeated. The best female fighter and one of the best fighters period. Fighting was my life. It felt nice to be in controlled.
All of a sudden I heard Liam's voice shout,"Alright alright people. Stormy you've made your point."
I gave him one last punch and leaned down whispering in his ear,"You ever touch me again and Liam won't be here to save you from my wrath."
Once I finished with him I turned around and shot Liam a glare.
"What the hell is wrong with you! I out to knock you out right here and now! You know better than to interrupt me in the middle of a fight!" I yelled whacking him on the back of the head.
"Sorry it was important. My sister is staying with me and she wants to go shopping. I need you to go with her but first clean the blood of your hands. It'll freak her out," Liam said.
"Whatever."
I went and washed my hands.
When I came back I asked,"When did you get a sister?"
"I've always had one but is rather not talk about it."
"Ok."
I didn't push him any further. I could respect the fact that he had things he didn't want to talk about. I had some too.
I was zoned out thinking and didn't realize we had stopped or the fact that Liam was talking to someone until Zayn said,"Hey Stormy."
I nodded towards him,"Hi."
I saw a girl peek around the side of Liam to see who Zayn was talking to. She looked to be 17 or 18 years old. She had an innocent look to her. Like you used to have, my mind thought. Oh shut the fuck up me.
"Oh right. Summer this is Stormy. Stormy this is Summer," Liam introduced us,"She's taking you shopping."
"Hello," she said softly looking at her shoes.
"Hey."
I think of Breezie when I see her looking at her shoes. Breezie would like this girl.
"I'm taking Breezie with us. She needs a break."
"Yeah sure whatever. I'll see you later."
I rolled my eyes. I loosely grabbed Summer's wrist and pulled her down a hallway that leads to Breezie's tiny office. Liam had offered Breezie a job scheduling fights when he heard her story.
"Come on," I told Summer.
Oh boy today was just going to loads of fun I thought sarcastically to myself. Ugh what had Liam gotten me into?
