As Fragile as Glass

Summer's POV

I ran into his arms and gave him a huge hug. I think he was shocked cause it took him a few seconds before he hugged me back. I felt myself tearing up.

"I missed you so much," I said into his shoulder.

"I missed you too sis."

When he finally let go I grabbed his hand and tugged it in the direction of the Child Services woman as I walked towards her.

"Where are we going?" Liam asked sounding confused.

"The Child Services woman is taking me to my foster home and I have to get going so I figured we could walk as we talked," I said with a shrug.

He stopped suddenly and looked at me very seriously.

"No."

"Huh?"

What the hell was he talking about?

"There is no way in hell my little sister is going to a fucking foster home. You wait here," he said with a calm voice.

"But-"

"Wait here."

I sighed and did as he told. I didn't want to fight with him. I was physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. I watched him walk over to the woman and start talking. After a few minutes they seemed to come to an agreement and shook hands. The woman got in her car and drove off. Liam motioned me over to the parking lot with his hand. I walked over to him as fast as I could.

"What's going on?"

He just smiled and told me,"I'll explain everything in the car."

I followed Liam over to a nice black Mustang.

"Nice car."

"Thanks."

He started driving and it didn't take me long to realize where we were going.

"Liam why are we going to my house?"

"So you can get your stuff," he stated.

"Why do I need my stuff?"

"You're moving in with me."
