As Fragile as Glass

"Have a lovely day and come again!" Jordan said cheerfully as she gave Harry his card back.

I jumped out of my seat and ran out of the diner so I could check on Treasure. I had tied her to a lamp post outside and was worried. I untied Treasure and she jumped into my arms and barked happily. Carly and Harry walked out of the diner and when Carly saw Treasure she shrieked and hid behind Harry.

"Get that ugly mutt away from me!" Carly whined.

I rolled my eyes at her. "It would be awfully hard to get you away from yourself," I told her.

She glared at me and turned her attention back to Harry. "So where are we going now?" Carly asked him.

I crossed my arms. "Oh hell no!"

"What?" Harry asked.

"That bitch is not coming!" I said.

Harry looked at me and then looked at her (more like her boobs). "She can come."
I stomped my foot and Carly smirked. I turned around and stormed off so I wouldn't have to watch them make out. I knew they were still with me though cause I could here Carly's obnoxious high pitched giggles. Every time she laughed I wanted to throw her into a wall. After a few minutes of thinking of how many different ways I could kill Harry and Carly I noticed a help wanted sign in the window of a bookstore. I turned around and faced Harry.

"I'm going to go check out that bookstore," I told him.

"Knock yourself out," he said to Carly's tits.

I rolled my eyes and fake coughed. "Slut," I muttered loud enough for her to hear as I coughed.

She looked confused. "What did you just say?"

I acted innocent. "Huh? I didn't say anything. Just coughed. Must've been your imagination. You obviously have a pretty good one if you put on your make up this morning and pretended you didn't look like a clown," I said with smile.

I walked off before she could respond. When I walked in the store a bell ringed signaling my arrival. I looked around for someone because their was no one behind the counter.

"Hello?" I called out tentatively.

A curly brunette popped out from behind a bookcase. She squealed in delight when she saw Treasure and raced over.. She eagerly began petting Treasure which I could tell made Treasure happy.

"Omg! Your dog is so flipping cute! What's this cutie pie's name?" The energetic girl asked.

I smiled at her. She looked to be about my age.

"Her name is Treasure."

"Aww! That is so adorable!" The girl said. She stood up and held her hand out for me to shake. "I'm Willow by the way."

I shook her hand. "I'm Summer."

"It's nice to meet you! Is there something I can help you with?" Willow asked.

"Well I saw your help wanted sign and wanted to apply," I said.

"That's perfect! You're hired!"

My eyes widened. "Wait seriously?"

Willow shrugged. "Well my mom owns the store but I basically run it and I'm the only one who works here and have been needing help. Plus you seem really nice. Can you be here at ten tomorrow?"

I nodded happily. "Totally!"

We exchanged numbers and talked a little more before I left. I ran outside eager to tell Harry my good news but when I got out there he was nowhere to be seen.

"Harry?" I called out.

When I did,t get a response I rolled my eyes. Probably screwing Carly, I though to myself. Liam was going to be super pissed when he found out. I started walkIng towards where I was pretty sure Harry parked the car. I figured I'd wait for Harry there so I could yell at him. I was so absorbed in my thoughts that I didn't notice the three men until they were right in front of me. The reminded me of Liam's friends with their piercings and tattoos.

"Well hey sweetheart," the one in the middle said.

He had black hair and shifty silvery blue eyes. I didn't like the way he and his friends were looking at me.

"Um hi," I said nervously as I looked around for Harry.

Where was that stupid dimwit when you needed him?

"Your Liam Payne's little sister Aren't you?" The one on the left asked.

I felt my blood boil. What was everyone's problem? I wasn't just Liam Payne's little sister.

"What's it to you?" I snapped back.

"Oh feisty. I like them like that," the middle one said as he grabbed my arm tightly and yanked me to him. "What do you say about coming home with me?"

I tugged on my arm. "Let go of me!"

He did as I asked but I wasn't prepared so I stumbled backwards into someone. I looked up and saw Harry glaring harshly at the three men. Harry pulled me behind him.

"Leave her alone Ryan," Harry said coldly.

Ryan rolled his eyes. "Don't get your knickers in a wad. We were just having a little fun weren't we love?" Ryan asked me.

I avoided his gaze and held onto the back of Harry's shirt in attempt to calm my shaky hands. I was having a panic attack. I hadn't had one since I found out my parents died.

"Get out of here. You know Liam will have your head if he sees you near her," Harry said.

"I can tell when I'm not wanted. Lets go boys. See you around sweetheart," Ryan said to me before he walked off.

Harry turned around. "Hey are you okay?" He asked me softly.

I straightened and glared at him. "Am I okay? That's the stupidest question I've ever heard! This never would have happened if you hadn't gone off to fuck that slut!" I shouted.

Harry's eyes narrowed. "How was I supposed to know you would manage to get yourself in trouble in only five minutes?!"

"Don't you try to blame me this is all your fault you asshole! Forget it I just wanna go home!"

Harry opened his mouth to say something else but I stopped him before he could. "I said take me home Damn it!"

The walk to the car abd the ride home was in complete and tension filled silence. I hopped out of the car before he got it completely stopped and ran to the house. I pulled my keys out but I couldn't get the key in the damn hole cause my hands were shaking so badly.

"SHit, shit, shit. Come on," I muttered to myself.

I didn't want Harry to see my shaking hands and start asking questions. I . The door unlocked right before he was behind me and raced into the house and to my room. I slammed the door and locked it. I plopped Tresure down on the bed with my purse and went over to the,nightstand. I pulled out my pills and took two. I placed my pills on the nightstand and changed into some more comfortable clothes. I flipped the lights off and crawled into my bed. I shoved my headphones in and turned the music all the way up. I drifted off to sleep.

I DID IT!!!!!I finally updated! I'm so sorry guys I literally tried like 3 times but it wouldn't let me and I was all like whatttttt? So Anyways thanks for the comments I love you guys!!! It may be awhile before I update again because my brother's graduation is this weekend anD my mom's family and my dad's family is coming and they like can't stand each other and I'm slow worried and stressed. They haven't had to ever actually have to be in the same room into the 18 years my parents have been married. Plus my aunt and uncle are staying with us and there two kids and there sons friend so yeah. They all drive me crazy... but hey at least my cousins friend is kinda cute. Wish me luck and that I won't kill someone. On the bright side I have a new totally cute and expensive dress and expensive shoes that I didn't have to pat for! Love Ya guys Bye!
