Stevie’s POV
I didn't know who to go to. Sophia and Johanna were in the hospital. I didn't want to go to Liam or Hunter. I just don't know. I walked home, holding Annabeth's note tightly in my cold hand. Tears were running down my cheek. Where could she have gone? Why?
(NEXT DAY)
The next day, I was pretty broken. No, very broken. Annabeth was gone, my sister and my best friend were in the hospital… I was upset. And sick. Feeling upset and sick don’t go well together. It’s horrible.
I get dressed and drive to the hospital. I feel like I’m going to die.
(Skip car ride)
I walk into Sophia’s room first. I see Hunter and Mason there, Mason holding an ice pack up to his face.
“Hey Mason. Sorry I lashed out at you yesterday.” I say. He smiles. Hunter walks up to me.
“Stevie, can we talk? Please, babe?” He asked. I nod and we walk out of the room.
“Do you love me Stevie? I can’t live without you.” He begs.
“Hunter. Things don't always happen how you want them to. And I'm sorry I had to dump you. But you need to move on. I need to move on. There is someone out there for you. And it’s not me. I'm sorry Hunter. I really am.’ I say, tears in my eyes. He nods. I pull his face down and kiss his cheek.
“I’m sorry.” I whisper in his ear. We walk back into the room and Mason is playing with Sophia’s hair. Then Harry walks into the room. Mason tenses up and Hunter stares at him.
“Oh look who’s here! The two timing man whore who caused this situation!” I cheer sarcastically. Harry touches my arm but I pull it away. Then he grabs my elbow.
“Don't touch me. Don't touch my best friend or my sister again either.” I hiss. He backs away.
