The Bakery Shop

Lexa's pov

I called up Zayn and he said that he will be here soon. I have had multiple nosebleeds for the past couple of days, and the dumb bandage is not helping! Im really excited for my date with Zayn tomorrow, or at least i hope its tomorrow. He still wont tell me when and where which is freaking me out! I am so nervous about it! I walk into the livingroom and sit next to Anna.

''Im excited for our shopping trip tomorrow!" I say.

''Me to! We are gonna have so much fun!" She says. Then the doorbell rings. I hop up to answer it.

''Zayn!" I squeal. I feel like a little girl. Zayn comes in andasks to speak to Anna in private. That was weird.

Zayn's pov

Once me and Anna are alone, i start explaining my surprise.

''Ann, tomorrow when you guys go to work at the bakery, at exactly 3:00 Pm, i need all of you guys to throw like flour or something messy on Lexa. then 1 minute later, i will come in with my tux on and take her on the date. I told you it was a surprise. And dont let her know that we are doing this. Thats part of the surprise too.'' I said.

"Oh man. Me and her were going on our girls day tomorrow! May i ask where you are taking her?" She asks.


''You need to wait too. Im not risking anything.'' I said as i left. For the rest of the day, we all hung out and this guy Collin is pretty smooth.


The next day

Lexa's pov

I put on my usual outfit and do my hair. I get in the car and start heading to the bakery. When i get there, all of the girls are whspering in one of those circle things. I stand there for a good five minutes, completly unaware of what they are talking about until i clear my throat.

''LEXA!!! WE DIDNT SEE YOU THERE!!!!'' Screams Megan.


''Well whatever you were talking about, i promise i didnt hear a thing.'' I said as i walked past them, into the back. The next couple of hours werent even exciting. The boys didnt show up, because of Anna and Sophia's fight with their boyfriends. At about 2:58, the girls went in the back of the shop. Something is going on. I look outside and watched the birds fly around. I wish i was a bird. They are free and flying!

''Get her!" Screams Anna. Next thing i know is that i am mopped with flour, sugar, and cocoa powder. I turn around and see the girls laughing and giggling.

''Guys! What the hay hay was that even for?!?" I scream.


''Thats what!" Screams Sophia. I turn around and Zayn is standing in a tux. Why is he.... NONONONONO!!! THE SURPRISE DATE!!!

''Zayn!! Im a total wreck!!! You dont expect me to go on a date with you like this!!" I shouted.


''Well, you thought wrong.'' Said Zayn as he came over to me and picked me up bridal style, and bring me to the car. I get a glimpse of the girls giving me a thumbs up. They, are toast!
