I'm Birdie

I finally got lead to the table. I look up and see 5 all very good looking young men. I smile at them. Louis stands up and gives me a big hug but I don't mind at all because he makes me feel safe and that I know everything is gong to be ok.

"Ok lads! This Birdie! Shes my friend from university." He smiles

"Hi I'm Zayn! Cool name!'' He says giving me a gentle hug.

"Hi I'm Liam!" He says giving me a hug also

"Hi I'm Niall!" He says giving a good hug. His hugs were so soft he was practically is a giant teddy bear!

"Hi I'm Harry. It's nice to meet you Birdie. I've heard a lot about you!" He smiles and then gives me a kiss on the cheek

"It's nice to meet you too! You can call me Bird or May if its easier." I smiled back

I sat down next to Louis and Harry was on my other side. We all had a really good chat about silly things. But then the conversation started to go towards me. I mean I love telling people about myself but I'm scared people will judge me or think I'm weird like Brittany does but I don't really care what she has to say anyway!

"So Birdie tell us about yourself!" Liam says smiling

"Oh um sure!" I look over at Louis who gives a gentle smile and a nod

"We'll I don't know if Louis has told you this but I'm an orphan, never knew my family or anything like that. I lived in that orphan about my whole life apart from last year when a lovely woman Julie who I call mum adopted me. She has a lovely 6 year old son, Will he is just the cutest and then there's Brittany, who I hate. She hurts me and treats me like her slave. Oh and she's really really popular! But I don't care what she says to me anyway because half the time I'm not paying any attention or I'm reading or painting. I'm 18 by the way, I love art and Louis is my best friend!" You said finishing of with a happy smile

"Wow! It must be terrible not knowing your parents?!" Zayn says

"Yeah it's hard but I love my family now" I say being positive

Louis saw that I was getting a bit uncomfortable and changed the subject. Then five minutes later the food arrived.

HARRY'S P.O.V

When I saw her I couldn't keep my eyes of her. She was wearing a little black dress that had black lace down the arms. She wore minimal make up and she looked beautiful. Her skin was tan and her eyes were so blue. When she told us about her family I felt so bad. How could such a beautiful girl like her get taken to an orphanage? Why would someone hurt her too? All these questions I had in my head were interrupted because I got a text from Kendall.

Hey babe! What are you doing? Want to come over?
Miss you baby cakes! xxxxx <3 <3

Ugh! Baby cakes???

I replied back with:

Hey! I'd love to come over but I'm hanging out with the lads! Miss you too. Xx

Anyway I put my phone away and looked over at Birdie. She must have noticed me looking and blushed. She giggled at what Louis said. Oh my god! Her laugh and smile it's so beautiful! I know I'm dating Kendall but I'm going to confess. I think I'm in love with Birdie!
