I woke up to the sound of my alarm going. I reached over and put it on snooze. I shut my eyes and thought. Why the hell did I set an alarm? Maybe I set it by accident. I lay still for a minute. Then it came to me. I had work for the first time today. I jumped out of bed and practically ran to the shower.

Once I had dried myself and my hair I put on my clothes. I wore some black skinny jeans and a floral crop top. I put on my black converse and my make up. I decided to do my hair in a simple high pony. I looked in the mirror quickly before going downstairs. Louis was still asleep so I left him a note.

Hey Louis! I had work today for the first time. I'll see you at 3.
Love Birdie. Xx

I cooked some toast quickly and put some jam on it. I finished eating it and I ran out the door. I jumped into my car and made my way.
I finally arrived in time. I pulled up and read the sign.

I parked the car and got out. I went inside and told the woman working at the cash register. I told her my name and all that jazz. She told me that there were also two new girls as well. One was Scotland Foster and the other was Willow Bennett. They sounded nice. Well at least I hope they are. I went into the back and saw a girl with orange hair and another with blonde. I walked over and introduced myself.
"Hi! I'm birdie you must be Scotland and Willow?" I said smiling

"Oh hi! I'm Scotland this is Willow. It's nice to meet you. I can already see that we are going to be such great friends!" She giggled

"I love your name by the way!" said Willow

"Thanks! I love both of your too!" I laughed

We talked most of the time while we worked. It was really nice to be friends with them. They were so funny and super easy to talk too. We served a few customers and just mucked around. I learnt that Willow is seventeen and Scotland is sixteen. They are just such lovely girls.

I looked at the clock and to my surprise it was five minutes to three. Wow! The day has gone fast I said to myself. I said goodbye to Willow and Scotland and drove home. I got home and found Louis in the kitchen rummaging through the pantry.

"What are you doing?" I asked curiously

"Just finding something to eat!" Louis said smiling

I just giggled and went into the lounge room. I decided I would text Harry.

Hey Haz! Just got back from work! Met two lovely girls, Willow and Scotland. Hope your well. See you soon. Xx B

I watched some FRIENDS which I loved. I was halfway through one of the episodes when I got a message from Harry.

Hey B. I'm good thanks. Glad to see you've made some friends. See you soon. Xx H

I smiled and then went to find Louis. Louis was still in the kitchen looking. I laughed and he turned around. He just made a stupid face at me and continued what he was doing.

I was lying in bed almost asleep. I had texted Willow and Scotland earlier just to say thanks for a fun day. I found myself thinking about Harry. I couldn't wait to see him again. I loved his smile, his dimples, his eyes, his lips and just everything about him. I just wish I had the courage to say something. I closed my eyes and dreamt about Harry. I was so tired from everything today and it felt nice just to relax and sleep.
