New Students
Chapter 5
Emily's p.o.v
We walked for silence in a while until he finally spoke up.
"Nice hit back there." he said while looking at me.
I blushed no one ever complemented on how I played before,"Thanks, it wasn't that good though."
"Not that good?! Are you kidding me that was amazing!" he beamed.
I smiled,"I'm not very good at sports, I'm good with technology though."
"You should consider joining our girls softball team, you could make it."
I stayed silent and thought about what he said.
Harry's p.o.v
I watched her as she went silent not awkward though, it looked like she was in deep thought but, snapped out of it as we entered the class. I took my normal seat while she walked over to Mrs. Wilson, teacher, and talked to her. She immediately stood up and shook Emily's hand and kept shaking her hand and wouldn't let go. Emily looked really uncomfortable up there. Mrs. Wilson let go of her hand once the bell had rung.
"Class I have someone very important you should meet." she smiled at us and continued,"this is one of our new exchange students from Japan! Isn't she just lovely?" A bunch of murmurs went off in the class. Emily just looked anywhere but, at our class mates. "Is it true that all asian eyes are as small as yours?" Mrs. Wilson asked fascinated bye her eyes as she stared into them.
Emily cleared her throat,"Well yeah I guess....."
"Oh that is so cool!" Mrs. Wilson squealed and then cleared her throat,"Alright then lets start class. Since we've just all come back from break it's time for a new seating arrangement so everyone stand up and move over to the walls." Everyone groaned including me, I liked where I sit but, oh well I hope I get seated with Emily. I packed up my stuff and moved against the walls with everybody else. She kept calling out name after name until she said mine,"Styles and uhm Emily dear how do you pronounce your last name?" she asked. Everyone looked at her.
"Korunama"
"Oh okay, well you and Styles are lab partners for the rest of the year." she said smiling towards the end. I walked over to our desk and set my stuff down while Emily did the same.
"Looks like we're lab partners." I say while smiling at her.
"Yeah, we can get to know each other better." she says while smiling back at me. I noticed that when she smiles her eyes squint. Cute.
For the rest of the class we just joked around and passed notes with random doodles on it. As for the rest of the classes we just joked around together and passed notes, nothing special but, I had fun. I learned so many new things about her and Japan. She also mentioned something about how the academy bought them a house here in England where they could stay at which I honestly thought was pretty sick. When I asked what the address was she said she didn't know because Joseph had the paper. I was really curious where they live because there was a house across from mine that was on sale and was just bought recently by a Japanese women who came here not too long ago. Could that be where they're staying? Or is another Asian family moving here? I let my mind ponder until the bell rang dismissing everybody to go home. Before I could even say a word to Emily she was already out the door, damn this girl is fast.
