A Walk To Remember

"Merliah?" Harry asked through the phone. I was confused at first because I didn't think he would call me. The second thing I was thinking was if he was alright.



"Yes? Are you alright?" I heard him sigh in the other line. Okay, something is wrong. I can tell just by how he said my name. Should I ask what wrong or wait for him to tell me?


"Not really. Could you meet me up for some coffee?" His voice sounded pleading. I agreed because I love helping people and making them feel better. It shows me I can do something good. And it also gets them smiling.


"Sure. Just tell me the place and time and I'll be there" I let him know. "Thank you. The next to Top Shop in Central London" I remembered which one he was talking about. I took Justin there when we used to be friends. That was the first thing I showed him in London. He showed me things in Canada too. A week later he took me and my family and friends out to dinner and asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the most loveliest things ever!


"Hi. Thank you for coming" Harry got up from where he was sitting to come over to me and give me a hug. He took my chair out for me and I sat down thanking him. He then took a seat in his precious chair.


"No problem. Are you alright?" I asked once more. He was looking at me but he said nothing. He looked down at his lap and let out another sigh like the one when we were chatting on the phone.


"To be honest. No" He said still looking at his lap. "What's wrong?" I asked him hoping he would say something. He finally started speaking.


"Kendall. We got in a fight, over nothing. The thing is that after that fight I left and I was debating weather I should still go out with her or not" Wow. That was a lot he was holding inside. It looked like it wasn't that easy to say everything.


"I know what your going through. With Kendall. Everyone has a bad day and you just gotta know that every strong relationship has it's ups and downs. But because it's strong it well get through it. No matter what" I said the words my dad always tells me whenever Justin and I, get into a fight.


He kept looking at me like he's taking every word I had just said. It's hard to tell what he's thinking. I know how he feels though. It's not easy being in a relationship especially one that is exposed to the world and media. It's also not easy to decide weather to break up with someone or not.


"Thanks. I guess I'm just.....confused" He finally spoke up. I don't blame him for having these sort of feelings. But I've known Kendall for a long time. What makes him want to break up with her? Or is it because he just wants to?


"It's okay to feel that way, you know. Do you mind me asking why you wanna break up with her?" I asked that before I could even think if I should have asked.


"One. Whenever I asked her to go somewhere she always says she's busy. Next thing you know, there's pictured of her with people shopping. Especially guys, there's some where they're hugging. Two. She gets mad over the smallest things" He said pouring his feelings out to me.


That's why I thought she was dating someone else because I had seen in the internet and magazine. So when I saw her with Harry holding hands I got confused.


"Ohh. Well I guess that is a good reason. If I were you I'd think about breaking up too" I was being honest. I mean, if Justin did that I'd be pissed and I would break up with him.


"Really?" He looked surprised I agreed with him. "Really. It would be better to break up instead of going along and keep getting more hurt" I said.


"I guess your right" He answered. "Duh. I'm always right" I told him with a smile trying to make things better. Which worked. He let out a laugh and he was smiling now. "Whatever."
