We'll Find A Way

Post-its

"Can't I just get a sweater?" Addie groaned. "They're chasing after you. They wouldn't care if they see me."

Harry tutted. "You can choose as much sweaters as you like later. Now, you're dressing up for me."

"But there are people screaming your name and yet to find out that you're here." Addie retorted.

"Just three sets of clothes." Harry reasoned with her.

Addie hesitated. "Fine,"

"Here," Harry grinned, handing a stack of folded clothes.

She took them and stuck her tongue out before entering the fitting room. Addie examined the articles of clothing on her arms--a crop top with the word 'rad' across it and a grey skater skirt with a red letter A on the side of it.

There was a Post-it note on the skirt with Harry's own messy penmanship scribbled through the paper like he was rushing.

Well, you ARE rad.

Addie broke into a smile, shaking her head. She stripped and put on the clothing, checking the mirror to see her reflection. She bit her lip and shook her head before opening the curtain.

Harry broke into a smile.

"Lovely," He said in content. He took another stack from Sophie and handed it to Addie. "Try these,"

She let out a breath and took the set, smiling at Harry before entering the fitting room. She looked down on the set of clothes and smiled at another Post-it note.

You ARE from California, right? Originally?

A grey roll back shirt with the word California printed in bold letters and a pair of high waisted denim shorts rested below the note.

Addie grinned after changing and stepped outside for Harry to see.

He looked at her from top to bottom then back to her legs. "You should really wear shorts more often."

Addie stuck her tongue out. "Next set?"

"Oh, right, here." Harry nodded, handing her another stack of garments. He walked behind Addie as she made her way back in the fitting room.

"What," she turned around to face him. "You're going to watch me dress?"

Harry shrugged. "I'd love that, but no."

"Then what?" Addie raised her eyebrows.

"Nothing," Harry waved a hand. "Go dress up, come on."

Addie knitted her eyebrows but entered the fitting room anyway, closing the curtain behind her.

Her hands contained a white shirt with blue capital letters that spelled out 'always and forever' printed across and a pair black jeans.

Addie's fingers fumbled through the fabrics and put them on, pressing her lips at the reflection. She turned around to open the curtain but paused at the sight of a Post-it note.

Taylor and I didn't have a Forever and Always. Maybe you and I can have an Always and Forever? (I know, it's a lyric from a song from one of those bands you listen to. That Summer Set thing?)

Addie let out a long breath and took out the Post-it note, putting it on top of the others and shoving it down the back pocket of her jeans. She opened the curtains and smiled at Harry.

He studied her carefully with a smile. "I like those jeans on you."

"Well, anyway, we have to go." Addie raised her eyebrows at Harry.

"Oh, yeah." Harry nodded in realization. He handed her another set. "Wear these and let's go."

Addie furrowed her eyebrows and tried to question him but Harry started pushing her in the fitting room.

"Hurry,"

She turned around and started to strip the moment she heard the curtains close. She was starting to look through the clothing Harry had given her when she saw Harry's head peeking through the side of the curtain on the mirror.

Addie grabbed the pile of clothes and pressed it against her half-naked body, turning around to glare at him. "Dude?"

"Oh, how American. Chill, I just wanted to get the clothes you tried on, man." Harry mocked, stretching out his hand.

"Jesus Christ!" Addie yelled, throwing the clothes hanging on the hooks of the dressing room walls to Harry.

"Thank you," Harry grinned and left, winking at her before closing the curtain.

Addie let out a long sigh and started trying on the attire Harry had chosen; a grey Jack Wills hoodie and turquoise denim shorts. She knitted her eyebrows in confusion and stepped out, seeing Harry handing out cash to Sophie, who was giving him paper bags from Topshop.

"Harry," Addie started.

"Alright, come on." Harry grinned, hooking his arm with Addie's and smiled at Sophie. "Thanks, again, Soph."

She smiled back, taking off her glasses and nodding. "Anytime, sir."

Harry walked outside with his hand tangling with Addie's. "Had fun?"

"I have questions and I want answers." Addie demanded, shaking Harry's hand off. He raised his eyebrows for her to continue. "Okay, number one. What happened to only three sets of clothes?"

"Well," Harry lead the way, looking down at his feet as a group of teenage girls with One Direction shirts and CDs passed by. "That set isn't really part of the show."

"Then what is it?"

"It's your runaway-from-my-fandom clothes!" Enthusiasm rolled off Harry's tongue.

"Still arrogant." Addie nodded.

"Still bitchy." Harry retorted.

Addie rolled her eyes. "Two, how did you get a Jack Wills hoodie in Topshop?"

"Oh, I once had to hide from fans here, so I went to Topshop to change clothes like what we just did, and I accidentally left that there." Harry furrowed his brows at the memory. "Sophie's your number three, I guess? She buys clothes from Selfridges for us."

"So why was she there?"

"She works at Topshop." Harry shrugged. "Finished?"

"Nope," Addie shook her head. "Sophie was my number four. Number three, what are in the bags?"

Harry entered Starbucks, scanning the area for a quiet place to stay. "The clothes you dressed up in, a few more clothes that you should have dressed up in, and some that I saw you looking twice at."

"I'm paying you back." Addie stated, sitting on the chair Harry pulled out for her.

"Nah," he shook his head, sitting across her. "It's fine."

Addie raised her eyebrows and got a reassuring look from Harry. "At least let me get you coffee?"

Harry let out a long breath and nodded. "Fine, okay."

He watched her grin in content and walk to the counter, smiling at the man behind the counter.

Harry took out his phone from the pocket of his jeans and called up Louis, tapping his fingers on the circular table.

"Yeah?" Louis picked up.

"Lou, hey." Harry nodded and shifted position. "Is Uncle Si there?"

"Oh, yeah, he's just about to leave, but hold on." Muffled noises was heard in the background, including a thump and a shriek.

"Harry?"

"Uncle Si." Harry grinned despite the fact he can't see him. "I'm with her."

"How are things going?"

"Okay, I guess." Harry swallowed. "Took her shopping. She seems happy."

"Good."

"I was thinking of bringing her to the Sherlock Museum."

"Harry," a door closing was heard. "You need to do anything to get the demos to her parents. If that would help, then so be it."

Harry sighed. "Sleeping with her and putting the CD on her parent's bedside table?"

"That's my boy." The line went dead.

"You okay?"

Harry jerked his head up and saw Addie with two cups of coffee.

"Uh, yeah." Harry nodded.

"Who was on the phone?" Addie pushed the cup to him and sipped on her own.

"Just Louis talking about the new demos we're having." Harry shrugged.

Addie shifted her position, pressing her lips together.

"Not that I'm giving you any ideas, no." Harry said quickly. "I'm not using you to get signed by a record label, no." He inhaled sharply. "That would be horrible."
