*Harry's POV*
December 15. Ten days before Christmas. How has this school year gone by so quickly? Oh wait, that was easy. It was Addi. We have hung out more and more. We have become really good friends, and I mean really good friends. We spend time just talking and hanging out, serious things, and funny things. I feel like she's always there for me. She and her siblings are over a lot and she has a great relationship with my mum. Most guys wouldn't want a girl that they like to be friends with their mum's. But that's what makes mine and Addi's relationship so cool. We're really open about everything and we just feel comfortable. We have talked about it, and we both feel like this friendship may lead somewhere. Well, we'll have to see.

Today, Addison and I were going Christmas shopping together. I was on the way to pick her up. The snow was beating down hard, large snowflakes falling onto the ground on the side of the street. I pulled into her driveway and saw Evelyn sitting in the window. She waved furiously, a huge grin on her face. She was getting to be a little better. When I first met her she was very quiet and rarely talked. She had begun to branch out at school and was getting better grades. About two minutes later Addi opened the front door. “It is freezing. Remind me again why I live in Michigan?” she said as she buckled in.

“Yeah, I don't really have a good answer for you love.” I said. I shifted the car into reverse and we headed of to the mall. I pulled her hand into mine and laced them together.

“Hey, so, meaning to ask you this but um my mum's work has a Christmas party next week. Would you want to come? I'm allowed to bring a date so I thought maybe...” I said shyly. I felt my cheeks flush.

She grinned and replied, “Of course I'll come. It's probably super formal right? Long or short dress?”

I stared at her, I didn't know it mattered. “Um, I uhhh...”

She laughed, “I'll call your mom quick.” She proceeded to dial the phone and have a five minute conversation with my mom on what she was going to wear. She hung up and said, “Short dress.”

We spent the rest of the day going in and out of stores, finding gifts for friends and families. I did buy a little surprise for Addi for the night of the party. The last store we went into was a dress shop. This is where she hoped to find her dress. She looked through the racks and brought about 10 into the dressing room.

She came out in her first dress. It was a dark purple dress that hung just above her knee. The top was covered with a netted overlay and small studded diamonds. She twirled and the skirt flew around her. She looked amazing.

“Well this is definitely not the one. I hate it. How do you like it?”

“You look amazing.” I replied. She smiled and said, “Haha, just you wait Styles.”

Several minutes later she came out in a different dress. I was speechless. Her hair was swept into a bun, revealing her tanned complexion. Her eyes twinkled, her smile erupted. The dress showed off her petite figure, hugging her in the waist. The skirt flowed away from her body making her look elegant and classy. (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=121531640)

“So, do you like it?” she asked, slowly walking toward me. I nodded and was unable to say anything. She giggled and replied, “Okay, I'll be right out.”

After seeing Addi in that dress I couldn't wait for the party.
