Life without Niall

Harry's pov:

We decided to let Brent join us despite Liam's protests.

We really have no choice. We have a concert tonight and it's Brent's first real show and our first show since the breakdown. I'm hoping all goes well.

Im Sitting on the couch and Louis is warming up his voice.

Brent just came in from outside and sat by me.

" Listen.. I know you guys hate me." He says twiddling his fingers. I'm surprised he said that.

" No.. We dont hate you." I try to convince him.

" Yes you guys do! I see it every time I walk In you all glare at me.!" He shouts. Louis stops singing probably to hear what's going on.

" Listen Brent.. We don't hate you I swear.. It's just really hard knowing someone for four years then themdieieng unexpectedly, then a few weeks later having to perform without them then having to get a replacement." I am all out of breath.

" I just feel.. I don't know." He sighs.

" Give them time. They'll come around." I nudge him nicely.

" Time to go harry. I guess you have to come too Brent." Liam says.

" LIAM! Stop that will ya." I protest. Brent Louis and I stand up and head out. We have forty five minutes until show time.

The ride to the arena was silent. Liam glared at Brent the whole time but I kept talking to Brent so he wouldn't notice.

We each depart to our own rooms and change.

We are all backstage now and it's about five minutes before we hit the stage.

" Alright boys! We are going to do this show great!" Zayn says.

I am sitting on my phone looking through twitter feed. The r.i.p Niall trend is going down finally. I look around and I dont see Brent.

I hear the clock counting down from fifty seconds.

Shit. I stand up and go to his room.

" Brent come on!" He stands up slowly and fakes a smile.

I feel bad. It must he hard going into the worlds biggest boy band. We walk out. We all put our hands in including Brent.

" Let's try to have a good show.. And.. And we are glad you are with us Brent,. I speak for all of us." Zayn says putting a smile on Brent's face.

" Well not all of us." Liam says. He is a total dick today. Zayn just rolls his eyes.

" Eye brow roll now!" I laugh out as we all do it. I taught Brent how so he does it too.

" 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" We run onto the stage. I out on my game face and I hear the girls scream like mad.

" HELLLLLLO OUR LOVELY FANS SUPERMAN IS HERE!" Louis screams out and winks at them. I look out as the boys laugh around a bit and I already see Brent signs. Word travels fast.

We have sang five songs already and Brent hasn't messed up once. He honestly isn't a bad guy. I like him I know that.

" Wanna see a joke!" Zayn says randomly and the fans scream.

I didn't really understand the term see a joke but it was Zayn who knows .

" I take that as a yes." Zayn laughs.

"Okay .. Wait Brent come over here!" Zayn calls after Brent. Louis goes behind him nudging Brent closer to Zayn. They are both laughing hysterically.

Then I see zayn pull out tape. Oh god. I want to be a part of this. I run over calling after Liam but he just stands there.

I guess it would take Liam a bit longer to like Brent but I wish he would already.

We ended up taping Brent to the stage. It was so funny.

But we had to un tape him and finish up the night. we were singing and it went over to Liam's part which he sang perfectly.

" GOOOOOOD NIGHT! " I shout in the microphone. I'm about to exit but then I see Liam pull the microphone to his mouth.

" I see you all like Brent ey! Well I'm glad... That's all goodnight!" He smiles and waves as we all walk off.
we are all telling Brent he did a good job and we put our arms around him then Liam walks up.

" You will never be Niall. Ever." Liam says to Brent then walks away.

What are we going to do with Liam.

" I should go talk to him." Zayn says giving Brent another pat on the back. I stay with Brent. I can hear then all yelling the.

Louis stands up and heads over there. I see Zayn run in.

" Oh my god!" Brent says standing up and running over to Zayn. Zayns face was covered in blood.

" I'm fucking sick if this harry!" Zayn says looking at me.

Did.. Did Liam punch him?
