Bullies To Brothers *{{*ON HOLD*}}*

~NELLY'S POV~

When we got to the beach, both cars arrived exactly one after the other and parked close together and we all hopped out. We all decided that today will be a break from all the drama of everything and we'd all let our hair down, each agreeing that we deserve it. Our problems are not gonna go anywhere so why not have a rest and deal with them tomorrow?

The sun was the brightest its been this month so we should make the most of it. We raced to the sand and surprisingly, hardly anyone was there. Just the odd elderly couples walking their dogs.

"I'm not waiting for anything." Harry said and began taking off his jeans, his top already thrown onto the sand, showing his many tattoos.

"What the hell?" Dani shrugged and tugged her top off and her shorts followed after. Soon all the girls were in their bikinis and the boys were in their shorts. I was too paranoid about my scars-so much for forgetting problems and letting my hair down. I pulled Kayleigh aside and she was confused why.

Niall gave me a look as if to say 'what are you waiting for?' so I gave him a reassuring smile, he still wasn't sure if he should stay or go, noticing my uneasiness.

"Niall! What's the hold up?" Zayn shouted to him while laughing. He wasn't to deep in since he couldn't swim well.

"Um, one sec." He said and came over to me. I had my top off and my shoes but not my shorts.

"What's up? Your missing out." He asked us both.

"Um..." I was a loss for words and looked to Kayleigh.

"She has these...scars?" She said and a wave of realization washed over him. His jaw clenched but he kept calm.

"No ones gonna look. And even if they do what will they say?" He assured me.

"They're barely noticeable now but you can still see them faintly." I muttered.

"Show me." He said softly. I hesitantly pushed my shorts down but not the whole way. There were very faint, hardly existent scars about an inch below my bikini bottoms on each leg.

"I can't hardly see them. Honestly." He promised and looked straight into my eyes.

"They're only so noticeable to you because you know they're there. For every person who looks I will give you $15. Deal?" He offered with a smile and I giggled. What the heck? I pushed my shorts down and kicked them off.

"Deal." I said and we shook on it.

"I will see you guys in the water!" Kayleigh said and sprinted to the sea and jumped on Sean.

"Do you know how amazing your body is?" Niall grinned at me. He traced my birds tattoos and I blushed and smiled.

"Thanks...but your one to talk." I rolled my eyes honestly and grabbed his hand.

"Seriously, your so beautiful." He grinned and I laughed.

"Thank you! But stop it, I can't stop blushing and I'm getting all flustered!" I said and covered my face.

"Your the best looking guy I've ever met and I love you." I gigged after I calmed down a little.

"Your the most gorgeous girl I've ever met and I love you too. Now, let's go to the others!" He said and I grabbed his hand to run to the water. But he had other ideas...

"Holy shit! Put me down! I thought you were kidding!" I exclaimed and clung to him

"You thought wrong!" He laughed and ran with me in his arms.

"Whey! They finally decided to join us!" Harry announced. He walked a bit deeper into the water so the sea was to his waist which would make it about mid torso for me.

"Niall please don't! I love you! I love you! I love you! I will hate you for this! I will get revenge!" I yelled and tightened my grip on his neck.

He put me forward in front of him and dropped me before running back a little. I kicked my legs so I'd resurface quicker, my hair is definitely a shit-show. He turned to run/stride away but I caught up and jumped on his back, dragging him under. When I knew I had the advantage, I swam away. He caught up pretty fast so I ducked under, hiding. He turned away so I ran to Harry and Sean.

"Hide me!" I begged and they stood close together shielding me.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are."Niall shouted in a sing song voice. He made his way to Harry and Sean.

"Have you seen Nelly anywhere?" He asked them staring into their eyes.

"No." Harry said.

"Me neither." Sean said and moved sideward slightly on purpose to give me away. Niall didn't seem to notice.

"Okay I will go ask the girls." He said and walked away.

"What the hell Sean? You almost gave me away!" I said and punched his arm. I glanced at Niall who was standing behind me...

"Hi..." I said before bailing to the sea. Niall walked behind slowly clearly planning something which only caused me to run further until I was treading water.

Niall soon got to me, holding a sinister smirk and I realized that having me so far from the beach was part of his plan. He's using the fact that I can't fucking stand up to his advantage. Smart ass.

"Yoohoo!" He said mimicking what I said earlier.

"Oh shit." I muttered.

I gave him a false apologetic look and smiled before he made a baleen for me. Unfortunately for him, I began swimming away sticking to the deep end. He continued to chase after me until I tired. I felt a hand gently wrap around my ankle and drag me backwards. I tried to stand up but went under, but hands held my waist and lifted me back up. I saw Niall's smirking face and went into hysterics.

"Seriously? My leg?" I asked giggling.

"I'm too tired to even try to reach your arm or something." He replied with an adorable smile.

"Oh well." I said.

I stood in front of him grinning and he copied me. He pulled me closer, still holding my waist while he leaned down and I learned up smiling while I put my arms around his neck. He closed the distance and our lips met. And when they did...

"AWWW!" All the others yelled to us. They were stood at the top end of the sea, not too far in.

"Are you honestly gonna be there to do something like that every time?" I called out to them.

"Yes!" They shouted back. We flipped them off and kissed again.

"AWWW!" They repeated themselves. We pulled back smiling.

"Race you back?" I challenged.

"Challenge accepted." He smirked and we both set off running.

"My legs are tired already." I complained.

"Piggyback?" He offered and i nodded before jumping onto his back.

"Whooo!" I cheered with my hands up and we, Niall, began heading back to shore.

"I love the beach. Have I said that already?" I asked and rested my head on his.

"Yup you have. And I love it too." He chuckled.

"Well oops." I said with a smile.

We soon got back to the others; the girls, except from Dani and Kayleigh were sunbathing-they were messing about and the boys were playing football.

"Where would you like to be stationed Miss?" He asked me poshly.

"Here is good thank you, slave." I replied.

"I'm not your bitch." He said to her as he put me down.

"Yes, yes you are." I said with raised eyebrows standing in front of him with my arms folded.

"Fine. I'm your bitch if your mine." He negotiated.

"Hmm...deal." I smirked began taking my hair out of its bun. The task not being as simple as planned.

"I wish I brought a damn hairbrush." I said to myself as i struggled with the tangles. Niall spun me around lightly and helped me through them, sorting them out quite quickly.

"Owie." I gasped when he accidentally pulled on a tangle.

"Sorry." He apologized and kissed my head.

"Its okay!" I assured him. Soon he was done and you could run your fingers through it easily.

"Thank you. How are are you so good with hair when you don't have long hair to, like, practice on?" I chuckled and put my hair forward and shook it so it would dry quicker.

"My cousin, you know the one who lied and told me that learning to braid would help me in life?" He smirked.

"Yup." I said and threw my hair back and ran my hand through it.

"Well, we were really close, we still are. She basically took advantage of how gullible I was and gave me all these tips and information and shit about hair and skin care." He said honestly and laughed, I joined in.

"Well hey, you can't complain!" I reasoned.

"I know. I refuse to admit that she's helped me to get somewhere in life with it though." He stood his ground.

"You do that." I said smartly and rolled my eyes and got a towel out then laid it out on the sand.

"You want one?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"Nah I'm good." He said. I lay down, but not as if I was sunbathing- more like i was going to sleep, and he laughed lightly at me. He lay beside me and i rested my head on his stomach.

"You tired?" He asked and while he wrapped one arm around me and one behind his head.

"Yeah, a little." I said and closed my eyes, savoring the moment; cuddled into Niall's side under the sun...

Out of the blue, we snap our heads up to a chorus of shrill screams. We were assured to find Perrie, Ally and Eleanor frozen in place, sat up drenched and the lads, Dani and Kayleigh all running for their lives.

"YOU GANG OF ASSHOLES!" Perrie cried out.

"FUCK YOU ALL!" Ally yelled.

"I FUCKING HATE YOU GUYS!" Eleanor screamed.

I guess they all pissed Ally, Perrie and El off.

"Perfect way to spend the day." I giggled while we just watched them.

"How long are we here for?" I asked Niall.

"Um, I'm not sure. Were not leaving any time soon though. We might even light a bonfire if we stay long enough." He smirked knowingly and my face lit up.

"Bonfire?!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"Yup. We used to come here once a month or so and each time, we'd light a bonfire and get wasted." He laughed at my reaction.

"Were definitely doing that! No excuses!" I said finally.

"I completely agree with that." He said and we high fived before lying down again talking about nothing. Soon after, everyone came over to us.

"Look at you two!" El winked and i pulled tongues.

"We want food." Kayleigh announced.

"Okay! Where are we going?" Niall asked eagerly.

"I wanna go to Nandos. We haven't been in years! Well a couple of weeks but still." I said desperately.

"Your still obsessed with that place?" Sean asked amused.

"Yup! That makes them both." Perrie said and motioned to me.

"Let's go there then?" Harry suggested.

"Yeah." Everyone agreed.

"Wait. Where are we changing?" Ally asked suddenly.

"Oh shit I forgot about that." Liam face palmed.

"Well...unless you wanna walk to Nandos in your bikinis receiving strange looks and change there, or just strip off, we're gonna have to change in the back of the car..." Louis said and scratched the back of his head.

"Are you kidding right now?" I asked. What if someone looks through the car windscreen?!

"Ah no." He said.

"Well both cars have blacked out windows buy what about the damn windscreens? People can see in and I'm not really up for putting on a show for any old pervert who passes by, thank you very much." Dani said.

"We can put towels over the windows? I don't know, this is stressful." Kayleigh sighed.

"That not such a bad idea. We could keep them down with the wipers..." Liam laughed.

"Well then, who's first?" Harry asked in an announcers voice and clapped his hands.

"Not me." All us girls said.

"I'm not being the guinea pig." I added.

"Fine...I'll go."Harry said and rolled his eyes. He grabbed his clothes and a towel and walked to our car. Everyone else sat around and waited.

"Someone cover the damn window for me then...please thank you!" He groaned dramatically. Zayn and Louis grabbed another towel and put it under the wipers. About five minutes later Harry emerged dressed, ruffling his hair with his towel.

"Who's next?" He said wit a proud grin.

"This probably looks odd too anyone walking past. We have a towel on the front of the car and people entering and exiting the car..." Sean observed and Kayleigh chuckled.

"I'll go then." Louis said and got his things before going to the car.

"I can't be bothered moving." I whined.

"Tough, if you want Nandos that's the price your gonna have to pay." Niall pulled tongues at me and I groaned.

After a short while, everyone was changed and we were on our way for food.

"I wonder if Gina is here today." Harry laughed. Oh Jesus...

"Who's Gina?" Sean asked.

"Oh don't bother." I half laughed half groaned.

"Some girl Nelly had a mild disagreement with one day." Liam laughed putting emphasis on the 'mild'.

"That's how it is when you leave out all the gossip Leeroy!" Louis said.

"Spill." Kayleigh demanded.

"This is my cue to walk ahead fast." I said and speed walked ahead and into the restaurant while Harry and Louis took turns explaining what happened between them.

"Yeah, she's pretty good at fighting. She did a couple self defense classes back in Brooklyn." I heard Sean say from the distance as I entered the restaurant.

I glanced around, seeing who was here and surprisingly, there was hardly anyone around. I went to the bathrooms and checked my reflection; considering I have been thrown in the sea, chased and cried with laughter, I don't look so bad. My waterproof mascara did its job and didn't run. That's literally all the make up I had on except for some lipstick that had worn off. My hair could do with being fixed though. I went to the hand dryers and dried it as best as I could before I went back to the mirror and tidied it up. After I'd done, I left the bathrooms and looked around to see if the others had caught up. They were sat at two tables because there wasn't a table that could fit 12 people on. I smiled when I was them and went to join them.

"Hey I was just drying my hair with the hand dryer in the bathrooms. It actually works!" I smiled as she sat beside Niall.

"Clever girl." Eleanor laughed sarcastically from the table next to us and I glared jokingly at her.

"Shh." I rolled my eyes and we began looking at the menus.

After we decided what we wanted, Liam and Harry went up to order since they were at the edge of their table and last to choose.

While we waited, we decided to play a game because were so mature...

"What about the one where you say something, then the next person has to say something which has nothing at all to do with it, then the next person says something... You know what I mean?" Kayleigh suggested.

"Connected?" I asked.

"Yeah it think it's called that. We played it a while ago." She replied.

"Should we try it?" Zayn suggested and everyone agreed.

"Can you do an example?" Niall asked.

"Yeah, so like if I said potato...you could say clouds or something then Ally could say shoes. They would be right but if I said potato and you said carrot it would be wrong because they are both vegetables...do you get it." I explained and he sat in thought for a moment.

"Yeah I think I do." He nodded.

"Okay...someone start." I said.

"Bed." Sean shrugged.

"Tomato." Kayleigh said.

"Vampire." I said.

"Tree." Niall said and looked at me to see if it was right and I nodded with a smile.

"Cup." Ally said.

"Llama." Harry said and turned to El on the next table.

"Pencil." She said.

"Cannabis." Louis chuckled.

"Tractor." Zayn said.

"Cannabis is usually grown on a farm and tractors work on farms..." Kayleigh pulled tongues at Zayn who pouted.

"Am I out then?" He asked.

"Everyone can have a second chance if they get it wrong." Sean smiled and high fived Zayn.

"Okay...um pillow?" Zayn said by it came out as a question.

"Flowers." Perrie said.

"Cell phone." Dani said.

"Paintbrush." Liam said.

"I'm bored of this game now." Kayleigh said with a cheeky smile since she brought it up.

"You suggested it!" Zayn laughed.

"I know...it drags a little after a bit." She shrugged.

"How about...oh wait foods here!" Louis said.

"Whooo!" Niall said and I laughed and leaned my head on his arm for a moment.

The waiter brought our food over and we thanked him before digging in.

"Thank God Gina isn't here. She would go crazy because El is here." Harry said after a few moments.

"Your still going on about that?" I groaned.

"Yes. Problem?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't know why it's such a big deal. I mean, I know I could have controlled my temper a bit better...but I'm sure you've seen a girl in a fight before." I shrugged suddenly feeling slightly self conscious as if everyone was lookin at me.

"Yeah but its you! You don't look like a violent person. You look all innocent-" I cut him off.

"I'm not violent! I'm just-I'm sometimes easily agitated." I laughed defensively.

"Say what you will. I've seen you in action and its terrifying." Harry smirked and stood his ground.

"That sounded so wrong." I giggled.

"Oh shut up." He chuckled and rolled his eyes. The rest of our time eating was spent in a comfortable near silence with a comment here or there.

I just can't believe how much has happened today. I guess that's what happens when you've been awake for over 24hours; your day is that much longer and more events and happenings can be fitted in.
