~LOUIS' POV~

Nelly came striding into the living room looking better than before when she was terrified; well pissed off and slightly vengeful, if has what you mean by better. And Niall came walking in behind her. I can't really tell how he's feeling. I'm sensing protective, angry, and hungry. Typical.

Joe sat there smirking as Nelly took a seat on the sofa opposite him and Niall sat next to her. Nelly was first to speak.

"Explain." She demanded.

"Explain what?" Joe asked clasping his hands together.

"Why did you attack me? Why did you say I'm not a real Carter? Why did you steal my moms jewelry? Explain!" Nelly growled demandingly at him.

We all sat there around the sofa surrounding Nelly holding cold glares in Joes direction. He sat there glaring back at us then plastered that annoying smirk back on his face as he made eye contact with Nelly.

"Well? Are you going to answer me or just stare into my fricking soul for the for the rest of the night cos i'v got school in the morning and my attendance isn't the best so far." She stated matter of factly.

Joe sat up straight and scowled at Nelly and the boys and I also sat up, ready for what was going to happen next.

"Well, I attacked you cos your a worthless piece of shit and you stain the family name. I said your not a real Carter because you actually aren't. And I stole your moms jewelry because I can and she was a little whore like you are. I mean look at you; staying over at a house with five boys who are oggling over you!" He challenged disgust lacing his every word. Nelly was speechless; processing his words still and Niall was absolutely fuming!

"I would just like to say at least 99% of that was incorrect. Nelly IS NOT a worthless piece of shit in the slightest and you should be honored to have an amazing person like her hold your family name. You had no right to steal Nelly's moms jewelry because; firstly its against the law to steal and secondly its just plain wrong to steal from your own family. And I never met Nelly's mom but I'm sure she was one of the most genuine people I would of met for Nelly to be raised as the person she is today. And finally, Nelly isn't a whore either. Three of us have girlfriends and we all have respect for women and don't see them as objects; her included. She is our best friend and we love her for who she is, even if she has a delusional psychopath for an uncle. So you might want to recalculate your reasons or come up with better ones because what you said just doesn't cut what you've done to her." Niall spat furiously.

You could see how much he actually does love Nelly and what he just said towards the end was from his heart. I wonder if Nelly realizes it...hmm.

Nelly looked to Niall who's icy glare was still on Joe. A sheer wave of admiration swept over her and left as fast as it appeared. I remember when me and El were like this; afraid to admit our feelings, trying to hide them. I will have to talk to Niall later, and maybe Nelly.

Anyway...

"So you think you know her? How long has it been since you first met Nelly hmm? A day or two and your practically best friends? There's things about her that even I don't know and I'm supposedly her uncle. And out think you know her better than me?" Now snorted.

"Who are you to say that these boys, who are my best friends, practically brothers, don't know me. What d you know that they don't? I bet you don't even know my birthday!" Nelly scowled pointing her finger. Joe leaned back in his seat and replied confidently.

"October 18th." He smirked. I swear, if he smirks again, I'm gonna run willingly head first into a brick wall so I don't have to see it again.

"No! Harry, tell him." She demanded pursing her lips. Harry obviously knew her birthday and said it with no hesitation.

" March 22nd." He said smiling at Nelly then gave Joe a dirty look. Damn dat mood change!

"Sorry, what do you know that we don't?" Nelly asked sarcastically.

"Well, we could start off with the huge bombshell that your are in fact NOT a carter. You are adopted." Joe said matter of factly.

Oh shit! We all looked at Nelly who didn't seem phased by this.

"I know that dumbass. I found that out when I was 12. Still, my family, the next I was living with before they all died, stuck with me and treated me like I was one of their own. Anything else?" She said monotone then lightened her tone at the end.

Joe was gob-smacked! Well, so are we, she even resembles her adopted family.

"I swear, if you was a guy, id beat the shit out of you." Joe said to Nelly. What.The.Fuck. All of us gasped and got ready to stop anything that could happen.

I'm gonna shove his head up his ass and make him chew his large intestine so he can taste the shit he's talking if he threatens Nelly again. Who does he think he is? He's meant to be like an uncle to her, and here he is threatening her.

"Well, you already done that...so..." Nelly said shrugging which seriously pissed Joe off.

"You won't get anywhere near her mate." Niall growled.

Joe stood up and so did we, including Nelly. Niall was in front with Nelly pushed behind him protectively, then the rest of us either side.

"You'll have to get through us first." Zayn warned.

"Which one of you brats hit me in the back of the head by the way in Nelly's house?" He said remembering something.

Harry stepped forward and bowed.

"That would be me. Why do you want to know? Headache?" Harry sneered.

"No, you hit like a bitch." Joe failed at offending Harry. We all just chuckled at him and he seemed incredibly irritated.

"Really? Is that why you was unconscious for about two hours and couldn't recognize me? Wow, I guess I really do don't i?!" Harry retorted.

"Look mate, a bit of advice for you; fuck off home before you get even more embarrassed or pissed off because we haven got full insurance for the apartment yet so nothing can get broken." I said and we all laughed our arses off.

Surprisingly, Joe actually headed to the door!

"Yeah and don't bother coming back either!" Liam shouted after him.

Just then, we heard thee front door slam.

"Omg! He's actually gone!" Nelly shouted happily. Niall smiled at her happiness.

"I know, i was expecting a fight or something to go down or something. I guess I was wrong!" Liam said.
"I'm mentally exhausted after that." Nelly said and flopped down on the couch and shut her eyes.

"Yeah, me too." Niall said and fell down next to her.

Zayn and Liam sat on the couch opposite and all four of them got stuck into a random conversation about what band is better out of 5SOS and The Vamps. Harry wondered into the kitchen and made some pancakes and I put the TV on.

"Nelly... can you make us some of that tea you made the other day please? The taste was...it was just sexual. Sorry but, I don't know how else to sum it up. Cos words ain't good enough."(a/n:See what I did there?) I said and Nelly's eyes widened and she raised an eyebrow and we all laughed.

"Yeah, I'll just go it my jamas on first!" She said and sprinted upstairs. About 5-10 mid later, she came running down in a dinosaur onesy.

"Cool! I have one of them the same but in blue!" Niall said and ran to his room. Nelly giggled and headed to the kitchen.

"THE PANCAKES ARE DONE!" Harry yelled.

"SO IS THE APPARENTLY SEXUAL TEA!" Nelly added on and chuckled. Niall came bounding down the stairs in his blue dinosaur onesy and called Nelly.

"Wifey?" He said questioningly.

"Hubby?" Nelly replied in the same tone.

They ran to each other as if the haven't seen each other in years and jumped into a hug. I swear, it was like a family reunion or something!

"Rawr?" Niall said to Nelly.

"Rawr rawr!" Nelly said as if she knew what Niall as saying.

"Umm..the pancakes are going cold!" Harry said.

Both heads snapped in his direction Nelly and Niall looked at each other and narrowed their eyes. Then, they both bailed towards the plate of pancakes and took 5 each!

"Leave some for us! I made them!" Harry said with his jaw dropped slightly.

"Yeah, but I made the tea!" Nelly whined and it one pancake back to make it an even number. We chuckled at her and me and the boys took two pancakes each and drunk our tea.

***20 MINS LATER*** ~NELLY'S POV~

We made our big bed and got in, I was by Niall who was by Louis, who was by Harry who was by Zayn, who was by Liam. We set our alarms because we have school tomorrow and went to sleep.

As I was drifting off, I felt two strong arms slither around my waist and rest there. I carefully turn over and see that Niall still asleep. I smile to myself and snuggle down into the makeshift bed, leaving his arms there. It felt right to have his arms around me. I knew he probably didn't know he did it because he's asleep, but it feels like they're supposed to be there. Then it hit me.

I've liked Niall since the first time I ever came here. I get tingles when we touch and butterflies when he's near. I smile when I see him or hear his name. We have loads in common. He can always make me smile at my worst or make me forget what I was unhappy about.

I think I'm falling for Niall.
