Chapter 20
Kylie’s P.O.V
I woke up in an empty bed and sighed. Harry’s probably already gone to bed and I’ve got to go and look for an apartment today. I really do feel like I’m overstaying my welcome and with us dating now, we’re going to need some space or our relationship really isn’t going to work. I got out of bed and went into my room, picking out an outfit. After I had showered and dressed, I went downstairs where I found a note on the side.
‘Your breakfast is in the fridge and if you’re going to look for apartments, take one of the cars in the garage. Keys are all in there.

I smiled and opened the fridge to find waffles. I took them out and warmed them up before eating them. After my breakfast, I got my laptop out and looked at estate agents around here. There’s ones that have some pretty good apartments just down the road from here so I’ll check them out first. I picked up my bag and shut my laptop, going downstairs. I walked out into the garage and saw the collection of cars that Harry has. I decided on the Porsche and picked up the keys for it from the rack. I drove it to the door of the garage and as I went to press the garage opener saw another note.
‘I knew you’d take this car, have fun and be careful.

It’s the little things. I smiled to myself and opened the garage door, making sure it closed and locked behind me before driving out of the gate. I drove off down the road towards the estate agents and it only took me a few minutes to get there. I got out of the car and locked it, walking into the estate agents.
“Hi, how can I help you?” A man in a suit walked over to me.
“I’m looking for an apartment.” I told him.
“To rent or buy?”
“Rent,” I replied and he went to get a file. He came back and gave it to me.
“Have a look through there and see if there’s anything you like.” He said and I looked at the apartments that were all way too expensive for me. I only have my work money, that’s it. I never had a savings fund, just the money that I get from work. I found one that was around £270 per week and looked at the pictures of it. I have about £10,000 in my bank account so that will do me a few months and throughout those months I’ll be getting more money so that might work out. I’ll just have to up my hours at work. I told the estate agent and he looked a bit shocked at my choice but then told me to follow him and he’d take me to look round. We got to the apartment building and I got out of the car. “May I ask why you’re interested in an apartment at this price when you own a car like that?” The estate agent, who has since introduced himself as David asked, pointing at Harry’s car.
“Oh, the car isn’t mine. I’m borrowing it from a friend. I don’t have a car.” I replied as we walked up to the apartment.
“Oh sorry,” David said awkwardly. We got up to the floor and he led me to the apartment unlocking the door. We spent a while looking around it and I thought it was really nice. It’s about 10 minutes from Harry’s on the train and half an hour from work. It’s pretty much perfect.
“Can I put a deposit down on it?”
“It’s ready to move in next week.” He told me. I nodded and we sorted out the rest of the details before driving back to the estate agents to sign some stuff. After I had signed the paperwork, I drove back to Harry’s, the gate recognising the number plate and letting me in. Harry’s car and someone else’s were in the driveway so I put the Porsche back in the garage and went inside.
“Hey baby,” Harry walked over, kissing me.
“Hi,” I smiled at him. I looked behind him and saw a woman with purpleish hair and a little girl.
“Oh yeah, Kylie this is Lou and Lux, Lou this is Kylie. Lou is our hair stylist and Lux is her daughter and my goddaughter.” Harry introduced us. I nodded and went over to greet Lou. Lux looked at me before cowering behind her mum.
“Hally,” A small voice spoke.
“It’s okay Lux; this is Kylie, my girlfriend.” He picked up Lux.
“She’ll warm up to you, she took a while to warm up to Perrie, Eleanor and Sophia too don’t worry.” Lou told me and just looking at the small child in Harry’s arms and seeing how adoringly he was looking at her made me tear up. I’m jealous of the woman sat right in front of me right now because she has the one thing I don’t, the ability to be a mother. She can get pregnant and have children whereas I can’t and that sucks.
“I’m sorry, I need time to myself right now,” I wiped away a tear that had managed to escape my eye and made my way upstairs quickly.
Harry’s P.O.V
Lou and I watched as Kylie disappeared up the stairs and into her bedroom.
“Is she okay? Was it something I said?” Lou panicked.
“No it was seeing Lux. I should have thought about it. Kylie can’t have kids.” I told Lou in confidence.
“Oh, I’m so sorry.” She replied.
“Her dad damaged one of her ovaries and then when she was in a coma the other one started to bleed and the only way they could stop it was removing it. Some of her eggs were frozen but she’d have to have a surrogate because her womb and things were so badly damaged. Her stomach was the part that he affected the most.” I explained, sitting down with Lux in my arms.
“If you want us to leave,” Lou began but I cut her off.
“No. I want to spend some time with Lux without having something to do every two minutes. Kylie’s gonna be okay.”

Sorry this took so long, I've been busy and whenever I've said I'm going to put it up I haven't got around to it.
Completely irrelevant to this story but I finally got tickets to 5 Seconds of Summer and oh my gosh I'm so happy. I missed half of them at my One Direction concert and I adore them so I'm so happy I get to go, who else is going?x
