Chapter 17
Harry’s P.O.V
Today, Kylie is leaving. She’s packed everything that she wanted from her house and is ready to go. They’re leaving in about an hour. We have barely spoken since I found out she was leaving because it’s hurting me. It really is. I don’t want Kylie to leave but she insists it is best for her. I could get her security, I could get more alarms and CCTV just to make her feel safer but instead she’s going to Paris. I’m not going to beg her not to go, because I know she won’t listen. For the past week the only reason we have spoken is me trying to persuade her to stay. Nothing has worked. She’s just completely ignored me and gone to do something else in preparation for her leaving. They’ve bought an apartment in Paris, found an English school for Ben, they’ve done everything and now they’re ready to leave. Kylie came downstairs with her suitcase of things and went outside to put it into Lauren’s car.
“We’re gonna leave in about 10 minutes so I want to say goodbye. I want to say thank you for saving my life and hey, maybe I’ll see you again sometime. Thanks for putting Lauren, Ben and I up and we can’t thank you enough.” Kylie hugged me as Ben and Lauren came down with their stuff.
“It’s okay. Stay safe alright, and if you ever need me, I’m just a text away.” I pulled away from her and she nodded before walking out of the door with Ben and getting into the car. Lauren thanked me and said goodbye too and then left. I guess I’ve finally got my house back to myself. I know I’m going to miss her, she’s got me under my spell and I can’t control it…
Kylie’s P.O.V
We drove off to the airport and I could tell I was going to miss Harry. I miss him already but I can’t be a burden on his life. Since I found out he was famous, I knew I couldn’t stay there. There were two reasons, one because my dad would find me and two because I’d be such an inconvenience to Harry. He needs to focus on his work and not me, so this way, it’s better for both of us. It has been so hard for me this past week ignoring his pleas for me to stay. I really will miss him. He saved my life. He stayed by my side for the whole time I was in hospital. He put me up and looked after me since I came out of hospital. He has done so much for me and this is how I repay him? By running away. I could see the hurt and pain in his face as I hugged him earlier. I could tell he didn’t want me to leave. Do I really have a choice? If I don’t do this… I lose my privacy and my family because I know for fact Ben and Lauren won’t stay and will go to Paris without me. Oh screw it.
“Lauren stop.” I said and she pulled over and looked at me.
“What?”
“I’m staying here, you two go. I can’t leave Harry.” I said getting out and grabbing my stuff. Lauren got out of the car.
“Are you sure?” She checked and I nodded. “Call me and we’ll be on the first flight back okay?” She said.
“Okay.” I told her and got my phone out to call a taxi. They waited with me until the taxi came and then I said goodbye to them. I got into the taxi and watched my sister and brother drive off before giving the driver Harry’s address. He drove there and I paid him getting out of the car with all of my things. I rang the gate and I heard Harry’s voice.
“Who is it?” He spoke, sounding upset.
“Kylie,” I told him and heard his breath hitch. “Do you reckon I could stay here for a while?” I joked and the gate opened. Harry ran out of the door and into my arms making me laugh.
“You came back.”
“I couldn’t leave.” I whispered, kissing his cheek. We went inside and sat down.
“I’m glad you didn’t go. I didn’t want you to go.”
“I know you didn’t. That’s why I didn’t.” I replied and he chuckled.
“Thank you Kylie. For staying,” He moved forward and placed his lips on mine, slowly kissing me.

To put some of you out of your misery, Kylie stayed! I know this has been on hold for over 3 months now but I promise once I finish my current story which should be around next month some time I will get back to this one but this is just a chapter to keep you going until then.
