The mentally brave ( Editing)

Louis POV

When Eleanor and I enter Company X it is quiet. There are no guards at the entrance, and the hallway is dark. I take her hand in mine and lace my fingers through hers, stepping closer to her as we walked down the corridor.
"Why is it so quiet? Where is everyone?" She whispers. I don't answer, because I really have no clue.
When we take the turn we come to a sudden stop. The lamps are broken and there is someone on the floor.
"OH MY GOSH! NIALL!" El calls out and we both rush to his side. He is breathing. We call his name a few times more, until he moves slightly and flicks his eyes open.
"Louis! El! Where have you been?" He asks in a shaky voice.
"We were in Ireland, spying on Foster, what happen here?" I ask.
"They went mental! They turned against each other!" Niall tries to sit up, so I help him.
He looks around alarm in his eyes as he takes the wreckage in.
"We must find them! I'm afraid we might be too late," He says, fear creeping into his voice.
We help him up and the three of us pace together through the halls, guessing our way in the dark.
"I don't understand," I tell him.
"The Doctor, he turned us into an army- well not us, but the others.. he left Luke, Perrie, Lizzie and me out, since he knew he would never get us to join in such a thing."
"What do you mean? Harry would never participate in such a thing either!" Eleanor exclaims.
"Where is Luke?" I ask as we peek into one of the rooms, finding it empty.
"He got Lux out, he took her someplace safe, and he was supposed to come back for Lou, but I never saw him," Niall explains.
"This makes no sense.. Why would he do this?" Eleanor wondered having a hard time accepting the fact her friends turned on one another.
"He wanted an army, we found it out, by breaking into Liam's computer. He was going to take over Foster and his gang and then work his way on turning more baby's and making the population of the supernatural bigger and I don't know what else."
"What happen then?" I asked, eager to find out how such a thing happen.
"We were too late, they were already on Dr. Cowell's side and ready to do whatever he asked them to do- even Harry."
"Where is Lizzie? She would have never let such a thing happen!" Eleanor raised her voice in stress.
"She went straight for Harry, while leaving Perrie and me to fight the others," Niall was having a hard time walking, and I finally noticed why- he was hurt. I stopped, pulling up his shirt to find a bruise starting to form on his right side.
"Who did this?" I demand to know.
"Ed, I was never a match to him," Niall said in defeat.
"SO where is Perrie?" Eleanor looked around. We just entered the auditorium, and I can tell the main fighting took place here. Bodies littered the floor, but none of our friends where among them.
"Help," We hear a soft voice.
We shift deeper into the auditorium looking for the source of the voice, finally finding a girl. Blood was oozing out of her mouth and side as she tried to talk.
"Natalie!" Niall shouted when he recognized her. He tilted her head up, trying to make it easier for her, though I could tell she doesn't have much time left.
"You must find Lizzie, she can help her –she can heal her!" He tells us.
"No, it is too late," Nat shakes her head slightly "She went after the doctor.. she.. she went to kill him.."
"Where is Ashton?" Eleanor asks her. I watch the tears seeping into Natalie's top after running down her cheeks and mixing in her blood.
"He is dead," She chokes. We exchange looks of terror, afraid of finding out who else met the same kind of fate.
"Who did this to you?" Eleanor kneeled by her side, taking hold of her hands, tears were dripping down her cheeks as well, matching Natalie's.
"Tim.. They let him out.. He is sick, I think Perrie.. she went after him," Nat said in a weak voice.
"We will get him Nat, he will pay for this! I promise you that."
"Tell Lizzie I love her," She choked. Before we were able to answer she was gone.

"This is mad," Eleanor sobbed as I tried getting her away from Natalie's body. "How can such a thing happen? We are a family!" I tug her away bringing my arms around her middle, pulling her to me. I then bring my hand up to her shoulders and head wrapping her, keeping her safe in between them.
"El, we need to continue, we need to find the others," I said gently. It takes her a moment to get herself together. Once she does she pulls back. I see tear stains Niall's face as well, though he was silent, holding it all in. I remember then how hard this all is for him, feeling not only his own hurt and pain but ours too.
We find Perrie not far from where we were, on her knees, her shoulders shaking while she cried. She was leaning over a body.
"Perrie!" I shout. She jumps up and looks up. When she sees us coming closer, her face crumbles and she is sobbing running fast to us. Her body collides with Niall's as she holds on to his neck crying.
"I made him pay! He will not hurt any of us ever again," She sobs. I take a step closer to see who she is talking about. It is Tim, his neck broken, his eyes staring up, the life gone from them.
When Perrie finally lets go of Niall I see the cut above her left eye and the purple fingerprints on her neck. Eleanor reaches out to hug her and they both cry some more.
"Perrie?! PERRIE!!!!" We hear screaming and footsteps of running shoes slamming at the floor as the person made his way down the corridor.
"Zayn?! ZAYN! I’m OVER HERE!" She shouts out to him letting go of El. Zayn steps into the room, his eyes wide with fear, exhaling rapidly, trying to catch his breath. He had a bag on his back as if he just came back from a long journey.
"What the hell is going on?" He asks, his eyes shooting from face to face and back to Perrie. He lingers on her cuts and bruises. "What happened here? I passed the auditorium and it is full of bodies and- look at you!" His eyes are wild and he is confused and scared.
"I'm all right! I'm all right.." Perrie takes the remaining steps towards him, bringing her hands up to his cheeks pulling his forehead to hers as she repeats her sentence over and over.
I look at Niall and Eleanor, they both look broken, and I am sure I look just the same. We took a hit, and it was painful, still not knowing how big and wide the hit was.
A loud crack behind me makes me turn, Luke appearing in the middle of the room.
"Are they safe? Are they ok? Did you get to Lou? Is she with Lux?" Niall shot question after question rushing over to where Luke stood clenching at his shirt while he waited for an answer.
"Yeah man, they are safe- they are safe, they are fine, breathe mate- they are fine" Luke put his hands on Niall's shoulders to calm him down reassuring him over and over that the mother and daughter are safe.
"Oh, my god, oh my god.. ok.. all right, they are all right," Niall sniffles trying to pull himself back together.
"They are fine man, they are safe, it's ok" Luke pulled him into a hug. I felt Eleanor's arm come around my waist and I pull her closer, as we watched Niall fall apart and then put himself back together.
"Ok," He said once he calmed down, "So Lou and Lux are safe. We are all right, Ashton and Natalie are gone-"
"What do you mean gone?" Zayn asked
"They are gone, we lost them.. they are dead." I explain carefully.
"Oh god."
"We need to find Lizzie and Harry! WE must make sure they are alive," Niall says
"They are! They must be," Eleanor says aggressively.
"And don't forget Ed and Liam," I point out.
"Yeah, them too," Niall agrees. We start pacing once more through the corridor making are way down to the Doctor's Office, the place we know Lizzie was heading when this all began.
"Niall," Someone called. Michael appears in front of us, holding his side that was bleeding.
"Why are you alive? From all people?" Perrie says in disgust.
"I think you will want to come with me," He ignores her, directing his words at Niall more than at the rest of us. Niall exchanges looks with Luke and they follow Michael who turned on his heel, leading the way.
We let him guide us down to the offices, but he doesn't take us to the doctor's office, he passes it and heads to the stairs instead, down to the lab. I lace my fingers with Eleanor's, holding on tight as we took a step at a time down. Michael pushes open the door, and the smell of blood hits me.
The first person I see is Stan, his arm is shot but other than that he seems fine, slumped up against the wall. The place is a mess but that was not what we all were staring at. Ed was leaning above a still body. He was crying repeating the word 'no' over and over again. He was heavily bruised but that was it, he wasn't even bleeding. The body he was leaning over was slender and lifeless. I notice the shoes before I hear the gasp from Eleanor. Niall is the first to reach the body a cry escaping his lips. Eleanor and Perrie soon follow, landing on their knees their hands over Lizzie.
"NO! This is not Happening! Lizzie!" Niall was crying. Ed was still repeating his enchantment oblivious to us.
"She is not dead- she can't die- it is Lizzie," Eleanor whispered, fresh tears streaming down her face.
"There is no heartbeat" Ed Finally says wiping his eyes.
"NO! She promised! She promised we will be all right! She promised me," Perrie sobbed touching her shoulders. Zayn came behind her petting her head silently, watching her grieve.
"Lizzie- come on! Wake up! You must wake up! I can't do this without you! Wake up!" Niall was shaking her not willing to believe she was gone. I turn to look at Luke, tears on his face as well. I bring a hand up to my own face to find it wet too, I am crying. We look at each other for a moment and then without another word we turn to Stan. I pull him up by his shirt and Luke slams his fist next to Stan's head.
"Who did this??" He roared in his face. But Stan was too weak to answer us. I drop him to the floor and Luke and I join our friends by Lizzie's body. She seems peaceful, as if she is sleeping. Her eyes closed, only the bullet wound to her chest indicates her injury.
Just then everything around me goes black.


I wake up to Eleanor staring at me, confusion in her eyes, and I know then that my vision went black because just then Harry entered the room.
"What did you see?" She asked.
"This is a mistake! We need to go back now before it is too late! Get Liz on the phone now!" I say urgently rushing to my feet ready to collect our stuff and head back to the compound as fast as we can.
"What did you see Louis?" Eleanor repeated her question.
"If we don't get to them soon they will turn against each other- they will die! Ashton- Natalie- Lizzie! Lizzie is going to die!"

THIS was a hard chapter to write... I was crying while writing it- how pathetic ha? anyway...
