The mentally brave ( Editing)

"Hi" I smiled staring down at Harry as his green eyes met mine. I reached to play with one of his curls.
"Hey… What happened?" He was sleepy and confused, his eyes still puffy from sleep, shining that beautiful green I love so much.
"You got stabbed.. and almost died from blood poison" I trace his cheek with my finger. I was alone with him in the room, kicking everyone out, not wanting him to be hovered over by them when he comes to.
"I did? What happen then?" He closed his eyes enjoying the sensation of my touch.
"I healed you" I whispered
"You work? I mean- your powers?" His eyes shot open.
"I do" I let out a giggle. The sound of my laughter made him smile, popping out those dimples I was waiting for days to see once more.
Harry lifted his hand cupping my own.
"Hey.." I whisper to him. I bring my face closer to his, touching our lips together.
"I missed you" He murmured into them.
"You never do that to me again, you hear me" I say, our foreheads touching.
"Believe me when I say it was not intentional" He smiled
"It's not funny, my heart would never cope with losing you" I whisper.
"And it won't have to, I promise" Harry swiped back my hair. Harry moves over to make me room in the bed beside him. I slide in, resting my head on his chest fitting myself to his side as I wrap my arms around him.
"How long was I out for?" He rested his chin on the top of my head.
"A few days, you gave everyone a fright.. Even your dad was here sitting by your side" I run my hand up and down his chest feeling his heartbeat strong against my hand. I give a silent prayer for it to stay like this forever.
"My dad?" He repeated. We lay like that for a while.
"So Ed is waiting behind the door for you to wake up... what would you say if I'll call him in?"
"Ah.. What if I just want to cuddle with you for now?" He murmured
"I'll tell you what, I am going to call Ed, Have a little chat since I need to go deal with something real quick and then we can kick everyone out the room" I purpose
"All right, as you wish" Harry answered nonchalant
"I love you" I lean up for a kiss. The little kiss that started small, grew long and hot. I had to push myself away from him, peal his hands of my waist to get away.
"Um.. all right, I'll be back soon" I winked. I walked to the door, pulling it open.
"He is all yours love" I tap Ed's shoulder as I walk out of the room. When I do, Ed slips into my hand a little key.
I stride down the corridor, stopping next to one door. I knock lightly and hear footsteps. Niall comes out closing it behind him.
"Did you get the key?" He whispered. I show him the little metal key in my hand.
"It would be much easier if my power would work in there" I sigh
"Yeah well, if yours will work then so will his" He replied
We reach the room we desired. I glance up at Niall for a moment. His eyes were hard. We both knew that if someone finds out about this we can get into loads of trouble. Though I really didn't care, as long as I get it done.
I push open the door. Niall and I walk in and look straight at him. It seemed as if he was waiting for us. Sitting on the bench with a smirk on his face. His face was still blue and purple, not yet healed from the hits it got from Harry. good.
"I was wondering when you might show up" He got up and walked lazily to the bars.
"I'm here now" I have a satisfied smile on my face. He was smirking, but I knew for a fact it will not last.
"You brought a watch dog with you, how lovely" He nods his head to Niall's direction. Tim sat in his cell watching us quietly. I was half waiting for him to worn Calum of what is to come, but then again It seems as if he is enjoying this, maybe waiting to see how all this might play out.
I walk over to Calum's cell unlocking the door. None of us had powers here, since the switch was on, which means I shell rely only on my own strength and knowledge of fighting.
He eyes me suspiciously as I enter his cell.
"I would really like to understand why you'd go against your own kind" I say quietly as I walk up to him
"This is the reason you're here princess? just to learn why?" He smiles leaning his back on the bars as he faces me.
"The rest will come.. stay tuned" I say watching him "So..."
"We are monsters! you know that right? We aren't normal! We are mutations that your boyfriend's father created for his own fun, and when the world will learn about us- which they will they will lock us up- hunt us- kill us"
"You are aware of the fact that you are doing just that right?" I say in a confused tone
"Better get it done with" He shrugs
"Why not start with yourself then?" I challenge him
"Wouldn't you love that ha?" he chuckled.
"We aren't monsters! we can help! we can do so much good with our abilities- you choose who you become" I say, maybe- just maybe I will be able to change his mind about his mission.
"It is too late" He said simply.
"Listen to yourself" I was losing my patience with him.
"How is Harry by the way? Were they able to save him?"
Without another word I punch him in the face. How dare he speak Harry's name after what he's done? He bends his head, holding his hands up to his face, leaving his ribs unguarded. I kick his ribs, making him slam into the cell bars, calling out in pain.
" I will leave you to think about what we talked about" I say as I exited his cell.
"What was this for?" He said in a pained voice holding his side.
"That my dear was for almost killing my boyfriend" With that I lock the cell and Niall and I walk out.



Harry was stroking my red knuckles as I lay next to him in bed. I rest my head on his shoulder as he went on about me hitting Calum.
"I can't believe you just punched him" He shook his head.
"And kicked him" I added, smiling, happy with my accomplishment. I am not one to use violence against someone, but I saw this as an exception. He had it coming, and the fact that I- a 5\5 skinny girl was able to bring a guy like Calum to his knees was satisfying.
"And you say he was still black and blue from my beating?" Harry asked
"Yeah.. you would have thought company X would train the muts to fight and not rely on their powers" I sigh.
My phone beeps then. I check my message.

From: Niall
Dr. Cowell is calling all the guys in, they are whispering he is looking for whoever beat up Calum.

"Sweetie, I need to go, I'll be back soon" I sit up.
"No- you already left me today" He closed his fingers around my arm pulling my back down to him.
"Yeah.. Well something came up" I try and break free of his hold
"What is it?"
"Niall said your dad is calling up all the boys to find out who beat Calum" I roll my eyes.
"Well then, I am coming with you- I want to see this" He smiled finally letting go of me
"What is there to see?"
"His face when he finds out it was you"
We both get out of bed. Harry puts on his shoes and then we walk hand in hand to the auditorium.
Everyone was already in there. The boys lined up in a line, while the girls sitting, watching from the side lines as Dr. Cowell was telling them off.
"I can go at this all day, until the person who did this will step up" He was pacing back and forth. When he reached the end of the line, the doctor turned his eyes lingering on us.
"Harry, you don't need to be he, obviously it wasn't you" He dismissed us.
At that Harry let out a little snort, making his dad stop and all the others turn their heads to us.
"DO you find this funny?" He questioned
"Well, yeah.. slightly" Harry admitted.
"Oh, well would you like to enlighten me with why?"
"Well, for one- That sun of a bitch tried to kill me- your own son- so what do you care if he took a little beating?" Harry asked his hand giving mine a little squeeze.
"Well, two wrongs don't make a right" The doctor answered
"Wow that is a load of bullshit sir" Louis spoke up from the end of the line.
"No one asked for your sassy two senses Lou" Zayn said
"Who are you to tell him to shut up?" Eleanor yelled at Zayn from where she was sitting.
"Come on El, let the boys be don't but in" Perrie touched El's shoulder.
"This is pointless- can we go?" Liam asked the doctor
"Yeah, this is a waste of time anyway, the kid had it coming" Niall added
"None of you are leaving until I find out who did this" Dr. Cowell was not letting this go.
"I was with Harry, though I would have loved to get a punch in that boy's face" Ed shrugged with a small smile to his face.
Everyone was talking again, trying to b heard over the others. Harry and I looked at each other. I raised my eye brows at him, and he shook his head no.
"I can't let them take the fall for this- this is really dumb" I whisper in his ear.
"My dad will be so cross with you" Harry warns me.
"I am not scared of your father Harry- OK CAN YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP?!" I shouted to be heard "JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN" I say.
Everyone quiet's down turning to face Harry and me.
"Dr. Cowell, just let them go" I say.
"I already told you- no one is leaving until I-"
"I did it" I cut in "So let the lot leave, since I'm here" I let go of Harry's hand taking a few steps forward spreading my arms to the side
"You're telling me it was you who hit Calum today?" The doctor wasn't fast to believe me.
"Yours truly" I beam up at him.
